A tiny settlement nestled in a stand of cypress trees in the middle of the swamp and the only place travelers can find the comforts of civilization in this part of the world. Lilicors Village is made up of a collection of wooden homes supported by stilts and built out of the sides of the large trees and floating docks which connect them. Most of the locals are beastfolk well adapted to the unique way of life in the swamp. While it might not be the most comfortable place, it's better than sleeping in the mud.

Remnants of ancient cities rise up from the murky swamps, slowly being consumed by the earth. Large stone walls, falling buildings and crumbling towers remain here as a grim reminder of a world left to its own devices.

A series of massive interconnected caverns spread along the coast and deep inland under the Marsh Flats. Brave and foolhardy travelers often disappear within, lost to the unpredictable tide that periodically floods the cave system. Their bodies inexplicably wash up on random shores across the continent. The otherworldly species that inhabit the plethora of caves inspire awe and wonder. Legends place the ruins of an ancient city at the core of the labyrinthian passage ways. (created by hoboslikepie)
