An expanse of land surrounded and split down the middle by the massive range of mountains known as the Dragon’s Spine. It was formed by the triple layer of rain shadowed from the mountains causing it to be a cold, hard, and empty land. Only the desperate travel through the Waste.

As the name suggests, Dragon’s Spine with its three ranges of mountains represent the skeletal structure of the Cradle, protecting its heart, Sky Peak Village. These mountain ranges are also some of the most dangerous terrain in Charon. Consistent hypothermic temperatures from the everyday blizzards created by the formation of storms off the coast and heading landward. Entering Dragon’s Cradle through these mountains from anywhere but the south without knowing the secret mountain passes requires a large dose of insanity with gallons of courage.
