Traya was riding with a small group taking wagons through the swamp after they had offered her a free ride, in exchange for protection. It was a slow process traveling through the marshy terrain due to the deep mud and tangled plant life. After a few hours of traveling, one of the two wagons sled off the path and fell into a deep pit of mud. Traya and the other passengers got out of the wagons and tried to push it out to no avail. The driver of the wagon (an older human male) spoke up, “Well… I guess we have to do this the hard way”. He told the other wagon to go on ahead and we’ll meet them there.
as the other wagon made its way on, the driver and his son began work to free the wagon. Traya stayed behind to watch over them as they worked. “How long does this normally take?” She asked. The driver responded, “if we’re lucky a few hours, if not a few days”. Traya went and sat down by a tree and watched them work. As she sat there, she couldn’t help but think of the warning they were given about some local gang, the Mud Worms, and how they would ambush stuck caravans. She tightened her fist and looked to the tree line. Hopefully this won’t take too long, she thought.

Sarne had been working the trails in this area hunting the mud worms and helping the merchants from town to town. He hadn't seen anyone for hours. It was getting to midday already. It was hot and humid the swamp has always been a difficult place to navigate for most travelers. Sarne was a seasoned hunter and knew his way around. Sarne's pet Aura Hawk Arashi pronounced (A-ra-shee) was starting to circled up ahead of Sarne. Sarne could see a stuck wagon off in the distance. Sarne quickened his pace some as he walked. Flare came out from under Sarne's hood her wings fluttering as she floated next to Sarne. "Ser Sarne are we going to help them?" asked Flare very excited about the idea. Sarne Gave a smile. "If they need help Flare" replied Sarne who whistled very loudly. The Aura Hawk flew back toward Sarne in a circular pattern making a few screeching noises. Sarne got closer he slowed his pace looking over the the area carefully. [1] Sarne stepped to the side of the trail into the tree line disappearing. Now out of Sight and not making any noise he approached the wagon and the people there. What got Sarne's was someone sitting by a tree. She looked like an impressive moon elf woman. She had long white hair, white Chantelle-colored completion, and light blue eyes. She has a purple strand of hair on the side of her face. She also had a watchful expression. So the merchants did have protection. sarne was not sure of how much experience the woman had though. Sarne stepped out of the shadows "Greetings travelers" said Sarne with a smile and his hand out in the open so they could see them. The man you see has soft features like an elf with a husky build. He is strong and has swift movements, making almost no sound as he walks. You can tell he is a nobleman in the way he presents himself, his armor, and his clothing. His piercing green eyes shine in the light. He stands almost 6 feet. His dirty blond hair is neat and well-kept. His skin is slightly tan showing the time he spent in the wilderness. Wearing a full-body cloak with long wide sleeves and a hood, made of canvas is a flat, matte grey color, His cloak is large enough to fully cover his body, His armor and cloak have a crest that can be seen on his front and back, The coat of arms is a Scroll-eared top, lobed base shield divided lines making four parts with Red, gold, and White parts. with a crow at the top To the right is a griffin It is the emblem of valor and magnanimity. To the left Pegasus The emblem of fame. With a holy rune over it and a fire rune under it.
A petite 6 inch Pixie. With long curly hair topped off with flowers most of the time. Flare like most Pixies likes flowing dresses to wear. Flare's wings have a blue tent to them. Along with her clothing and hair. The best word to describe her is cute. was flying beside him.

Traya was starting to get restless. As it approached midday, she couldn’t help but notice how hot it was getting. She had begun to loosen her attention on the tree line. she insisted watched the old man and his son work on the wagon, thinking back on her farming days. As Sarne got closer, he could hear the older man and his son talking about the journey ahead, and the places they wish to stop by.
As Sarne stepped out of the shadows and introduced himself, Traya was completely caught off guard. She jumped to her feet and reached for her long sword, before turning her head to the sound of his voice. She was confused on how someone snuck up on them. Shirley I wasn’t that distracting, was I? for she didn't know about the Houdini Act.
Upon seeing him she was taken aback. She expected some filthy mud worms, not some well-mannered nobleman. Seeing his hands spread out and a smile on his face eased Traya’s worries. She loosens the grip on her long sword, (which was still in its sheath) but didn’t take her hand off it.
“Greetings!” She called out, ”Who are you? And what are you doing out here?” She says this while looking him up and down, also looking behind him for more people. Sarne can tell by the expression on her face that he was not who she was expecting to see.
the other travelers are alarmed when Sarne walks out, but quickly calm down upon seeing the man, who looks like a noble. their eyes went back and forth from him to the Pixie.

Sarne let his hand fall to his side. He looked over Traya and then to the back of the wagon that was buried to its wagon axial. He shook his head. The merchant was doing the right thing by putting wood under the wheel and in front and trying to dig out the wagon. But the swamp wood is wet and weak. This was the problem and it will take a while to fix.
Sarne looked back at the worrier "To answer your question. I am traveling the roads helping out stranded and lost travelers some hunting when I can." said Sarne with a kind smile. "As for me, I am Ser Sarne Sequoia of Silvermyist, Lord of Grey Stone Keep, Captain Of Duros Hunters," answered Sarne.
A hawk landed in the tree above Traya. It looking at the wagon. A large brown and white-feathered halk whose size is much larger than regular birds of prey. Its eyes are a luminescent blue - and it possesses a long, glowing tail that seems to dissolve into pure light at the end. It screeched a few times.
Sarne looked at the hawk then Traya "That is Arashi (A-ra-shee) He is the one that spotted you here stuck. This little ball of energy next to me is Flare" explained Sarne. his voice even measured and of some authority.

Traya was surprised that a nobleman was wondering alone in the swamp trying to help people. Her eyes followed the hawk as it landed in the tree above her. The kind smile and the authority in Sarne’s voice was enough to erase any worries she had of him. She let go of her blade and put her hand to her side. Upon giving him a closer look she could see the crest he wore on the front of his cloak, which in her alarm she missed the first time. The little pixie hovering around Sarne brought a smile to Traya’s face.
“Well it’s a pleasure to meet you both,” said Traya. She spoke kindly and with respect. “I am Traya Blackstone, though with no authority behind my name.” As the final words leave her mouth, she registers that while she is just an adventure, she is speaking to a lord. Her more soldiery personality takes hold as she stands up straighter and tries to rub some of the dirt off her arms and chest.
Traya said, “We were traveling through when our wagon slid into some mud.” She glanced to the wagon, and then back at Sarne. “I don’t suppose you know a thing or two about getting wagons unstuck?” She asked, a hopeful tone in her voice.

Giving a nod at the introduction from the woman. "I did not bring anything to pull out wagons but maybe can assist some. We need to get some dryer wood than a longer log maybe 6 inches in diameter and something to use as a wedge," suggested Sarne walking closer to the wagon. "With all of us, we should be able to get it moving," said Srane thinking. Looking Sarne said, "Let us see what we can scrounge up." Sarne started to look at some branches on the trees.
Pulling his Falcon Kukri Blade out Sarne eyed some branches. waking over to a large three and with one motion cut the think branch off the tree. The cut was clean and showed his skill with a blade. Sarne repeated this a few more times and then took the wood over to the man and boy. The boy placed the wood long way under the wheel the best he could. The Father of the boy also helped in the placement of the wood. The man started to pick up large rocks. So he could be placed by the wheel. so he could get some traction with the wheel to get it unstuck.
Sarne started to walk back now looking for some larger wood to use. With no warning, [1] Sarne moved to one side snatching Flare out of the air and turning some to the right. An arrow whizzed by Sarne narrowly missing Sarne by a hair.[2] A second arrow struck Sarne in the shoulder plate of his armor. Sarne spun around and then let Flare go. Within a blink of an eye, Sarne's sword appeared in his hand. [3] Sarne adopts a stance where his arms hover slightly angular to your hips with a weapon in each hand, preparing to do just about anything from feints, slashes, stabs, and parries at a moment's notice. "Bandits!" shouted Sarne.
Bandits start to come from the swamp rushing Sarne and Traya. The man and boy try to hide next to the wagon the man pulling out a long handle axe for chopping wood.
