These will close on March 1st. You can still submit a completed quest after the 1st, but can no longer start these after they have closed.

Tier One: Adventurer Quests (0-5 Renown)

Quest Name: Break the Ice
Participants: Two or more
Location: Frost Gale (Pale City)
Post Requirements: 5 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown
Description: Despite the absence of Vulcadreaus, the world is still feeling his effects. The weather patterns around Charon have become unbalanced, with most weather across the continent becoming more extreme than normal. With winter quickly approaching, the ice, snow and frost in the north have become more dangerous. The ports around the Pale City have frozen over, months earlier than normal. In order to keep trade and commerce flowing, the city is asking for help in breaking the ice and freeing the harbors. This includes warming the ice, breaking it into smaller pieces, and removing in from the city. 

Quest Name: Storm Proofed
Participants: Two or more
Location: Dragon's Cradle (Sky Peak)
Post Requirements: 4 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown
Description: Those in the Cradle know winter can be especially rough for them, as the storms above don't cease just because the air has cooled, often times mixing with snow or rain, making them much more frustrating. Because of this, locals have made it a tradition to fix up homes, businesses, and establishments, getting them ready for both the winter storms and decrease in temperature. Sky Peak has an open invitation for anyone wanting to help in this endeavor. The job is simple: assist locals in weather proofing their homes with materials such as new lumber, pitch, shingles, and tools needed to do so. 

Quest Name: Putting it Back Together
Participants: Two or more
Location: Ashlands (Darkveil)
Post Requirements: 4 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown
Description: Darkveil was hit the hardest during the events of Vulcadreaus, with many of its inhabitants having fled the destruction. Now that things have calmed, people are moving back, only to find their city is in shambles. An effort has been put in place by locals, with help from those who remain of the Ashen Father gangs, to fix the city up. Assistance is being requested, with a long list of things to be done. Buildings are toppled, chunks of them missing, the ground has been split and ripped apart, with the streets filled with displaced and homeless. Whatever you can do to help, it will be accepted. Help rebuild the city, or offer food and water to the displaced. Clean the streets or help bring supplies in from other cities. No task is too small. 

Quest Name: Skip With Me

Location: Marsh Flats
Post Requirements: 5 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown
Description: The Marsh Flats have continued to suffer under the wrath of the Mud Worms, the gang quickly gaining more and more control of the region. Recently, they have begun to steal and hoard Bogskippers, valuing their usefulness for navigating the swamps. It is believed that with an army of Bogskippers, they can outfit their gang and become more of a problem. Lilicors is asking for help in freeing and retrieving the Bogskippers, returning them back to their owners. You are asked to find a Mud Worm camp and free any Bogskippers they may be holding there, dispatching of any the members who may try to stop you. 

Quest Name: Nose in a Book

Location: Anywhere (libraries)
Post Requirements: 4 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown
Description: The world is starting to warm up to the idea of Scern's story being truthful, at least to some degree. Many still can't fathom how they were able to be tricked for so long by an imposter god, and had absolutely no idea about Vulcadreaus. Scholars are starting to realize they know very little about Charon's true history and are now asking for help from the public. People have begun to pour over old texts, study forgotten scripts, and attempt to find any information that would help shed a light on the world’s current situation. You are being asked to study old texts from libraries or book collections around Charon, hoping to find any clues to help explain things. (No information is found, however.)

Tier Two: Tradesfolk Quests (6-13 Renown)

Quest Name: Why the Long Face
Participants: Two or more
Location: King's Valley
Post Requirements: 6 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown, Choice of 2 Common crafting materials
Description: Two Wyldmare's have been causing problems for locals, having engaged in a fight among themselves outside a nearby village or town. Something has stirred the two and enraged them, causing them to become even more violent than normal. Their fight is disrupting trade and travel as locals are afraid to further disturb the creatures. Help is being asked for, someone who can come in, break up the fight, and deal with the creatures any way they can. Be cautious, however, as one disgruntled Wyldmare can be a handful on its own, let alone two. 

Quest Name: Spiders, Again
Participants: Two or more
Location: Moonglade
Post Requirements: 6 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown, Choice of 2 Common crafting materials
Description: Giant spiders have always been an issue in Moonglade, and are a constant threat for anyone brave enough to enter the Shadewood. However, the recent disturbance in Charon's primordial energy has affected most wildlife, causing them to behave unnaturally. Swarms of giant spiders have recently been seen roaming around outside the Shadewood, even crossing into villages and established homesteads. We need help in corralling these spiders back into the Shadewood, or flat out killing them, whatever helps keep the citizens of Moonglade safe. 

Quest Name: Emperor’s Favor
Participants: Two or more
Location: Arid Mesa
Post Requirements: 6 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown, Choice of 2 Common crafting materials
Description: A variety of operations have been launched since the chaos in the Arid Mesa, with all types of companies, organizations, and groups seeking to leave their mark on the mostly unexplored region. Because of this, the once abandoned coastlines have become riddled with camps, settlements and docked ships, who are now disturbing the local wildlife who are used to quiet emptiness. While most passive species have just fled inland, the mighty Emperor Akhlut has decided upon another course of action. Packs of these odd coastal creatures have begun assaulting nearby camps and ships as they attempt to set up or offload cargo. A request for body guards has been put out, seeking help in protecting employees from these creatures while they try to do their jobs. 

Quest Name: Skitter Back Home

Location: Sol City
Post Requirements: 6 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown, Choice of 2 Common crafting materials
Description: Due to their exotic nature and natural beauty, Skittermaus's from the King's Valley have often been the focus of poachers who steal the creatures from their natural habitat and sell them as pets on the black market. While owning one as a pet has never been a crime, the harsh conditions they are kept in and the ill treatment animals receive from their poachers has been frowned upon by local government. The issue has become so dire that officials from Thunderhoof are hiring people to help get the animals back, by any means necessary. Current sources indicate the creatures are being held in dingy warehouses in the captiol, where they are then carted off to be sold at various black market vendors. Help free and return some of these elegant creatures back to the wilds of the valley!

Tier Three: Dignitary Quests (14 - 23 Renown)

Quest Name: Check for Ticks
Participants: Two or more
Location: Frost gale
Post Requirements: 8 posts per person, 250 words per post
Reward: +1 Mystical Archive Ticket, Choice of 1 Rare crafting material
Description: In the aftermath of Mt. Drakolt's eruption and destruction, a heat wave has moved across the region, warming and melting a bunch of ice in the northern regions of Frostgale. This has caused several hives of Glacier Ticks to emerge and move south, looking for fresh food and a place to set up nests. Unfortunately, they found what they were looking for. Several small hamlets and towns across the northern tundra have fallen victim to these pests, turning their small hamlets into a giant tick nest, and using the people as a food source. Assistance is needed in removing these monsters from the local villages. 

Special Requirements: You are fighting at least 10 adult sized Glacier Ticks while attempting to rescue any remaining civilians trapped in the village. 

Mystical Archive tickets are awarded once per player, so you do not get multiple Archive tickets for doing this quest more than once with more than one character.

Quest Name: What Lurks in the Murk
Participants: Two or more
Location: King's Valley (Kingswood)
Post Requirements: 8 posts per person, 250 words per post
Reward: +1 Mystical Archive Ticket, Choice of 1 Rare crafting material
Description: A pair of Murkwood Spawn have been terrorizing travelers as they move through the forest connecting King’s Valley to the Marsh Flats. Instead of using sheer force to assault their prey, they stalk, using the forest to their advantage. Working together, they have managed to attack and evade many local authorities, with the Knights of Duros asking for help in the matter. Anyone brave enough to enter the forest and dispatch these two beasts will earn favor with both regions. 


Special Requirements: At least one member of the group (PC only, no NPC's) must be knocked unconscious during this fight.)

Mystical Archive tickets are awarded once per player, so you do not get multiple Archive tickets for doing this quest more than once with more than one character.

Tier Four: Noble Quest (24+ Renown)

Quest Name: Dance with Death
Participants: Two or more
Location: Anywhere
Post Requirements: 8 posts per person, 250 words per post
Reward:  +50 security to your home region, Choice of 1 Unique crafting material
Description: Charon is a dangerous place and is filled with more threats than one can keep track of. Natural disasters, savage monsters, and crazed cultists are just a few of the things trying to take your life on a daily basis, and sometimes, they succeed. Luckily, Charon is home to brave, powerful warriors who have earned their reputation, constantly putting their lives on the line for someone else. To complete this quest, all player characters participating in the topic must be knocked unconscious or killed at least once. The details of the quest can be entirely up to you, as long as each character suffers a devastating wound and is brought to the edge of death.
