As has become usual, Percy finds himself waking up somewhere in a random little town that happened to have an Inn or at least somewhere he could get a drink with no idea where he is. He wiggles the bottle he still clutched from last night....empty...great. The man grimaces as he stands up, tossing the bottle at the wall behind him and letting it shatter, before exiting the room he's in. "Stupid f*&^in' plains, bloody arsehole grass....stupid...what are you?" He squints at the other creatures around him. "Cows?" Slowly, mostly upon seeing the cows, Percy realizes he didn't fall asleep in an Inn but in a barn. Mooooo. "Shut up you or yer feckin breakfast...stupid cow." He spits on the floor before flinging open the doors. The scene of the farm is chaos, many fences broken and crops trampled. It looks like some sort of beast came charging through here. Percy sniffs and scratches his neck as he walks out onto the property proper. "S'happened here?"The farmer looks astounded for a moment before his face turns beet red, "YOU HAPPENED YOU LANDLOCKED FISH-BRAINED IDIOT YOU CAME STORMING IN HERE AND WRECKED MY STUFF.""OK well....no need to yell about it ya prick."

Valerian hadn't been to King's Valley before. Its plains were full of life and wavered from peaceful to tense, but she'd managed to pass both man and beast without violence so far. While wandering, she'd crossed the path of what looked like an injured beast. As she followed the trail, she tried to learn more about the situation.
Some time had passed, and Val had been tracking the herd of wayward Woolfuls for a while now. One had been injured, and the group was now, she believed, practically stampeding across the plains. At least, that's what it looked like. She was certainly no tracker. With luck, I can get them home safely. Maybe I can even heal the injured one. I've only ever seen Woolfuls from afar, but they look so cute and soft and I really hope they're okay out there
As she crested a hill, she took a moment to survey the plains. Sparse trees and stones offered little cover from the noon sun. Across the valley, ordered patches of farmland clashed against wild growths of the plains. One patch looked notably disturbed. Wrecked, even. Perhaps she would find answers amidst the overturned crops and shattered fences. Even now, she heard some sort of commotion. Moving quickly, she approached the farmland, looking for, if not answers, then clues.

"Well yellin ain't gonna find yer woolfull is it?...Prick." Percy took another drink from the now empty bottle and tossed it behind him.
"MY NAME IS HOBART NOT PRICK FIRST OFF."
"First off don't care."
Somehow, Hobart has found a new shade of red for his face to reach as his anger reaches its peak, "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! GO FIND MY SHEEP BEFORE I CALL THE GUARDS."
The urge to put this man in the dirt rises, but the shark lets out a sigh. As little as he cared for others, wanton murder was not his go to. He'd beat the guy up, but he was confident even one punch would decimate the old man. So, Percy relents.
"Fine, I'll find the sheep...only because you're being such a prick about it."
The farmer's wife comes to take Hobart back inside as the man shouts a profanity-laden screed at Percy. He shrugs and looks around at the farm wondering where the hell to begin. Over in the distance, he spots Valerian coming towards the farm.....It was sort of in the distance of where the sheep creatures went....probably.
"OI. SEE ANY WOOLFUL AROUND?" He shouts across the field to the man making his approach.

Oh, how disheartening. Before she had even made it to the farm, her hopes were dashed by shouts that suggested the Woolfuls started here and she'd been tracking them backwards. Perfect.
Oh, here one of them comes. The one who wasn't shouting his head off, how fortunate for her. He was staggering.. swaggering.? doing a bit of both down the path towards her. "OI. SEE ANY WOOLFUL AROUND?" He shouts across the field as Val approaches. Ah- he was certainly the louder of the two, after all. Coming to the wrong end of the trail, she was further from the poor lost Woolfuls than ever. Although, if the pirate-farmer is looking for them, too, then perhaps he might know where they've gotten off to. I've clearly had no luck finding them.
"I HAVEN'T. HAVE YOU LOST YOURS?" As she drew closer, Val's voice dropped to a less throat-tearing volume. "I've been looking for the cause of some damage, and I believe a group of Woolfuls are to blame." She brushed some mossy hair out of her face. "I think one of them is injured. Is this your farm? How'd they get out?" Without much difficulty, she could tell the pirate-farmer. was having a bad afternoon. Were they tired? Sick, maybe? She wasn't certain.

"Do I look like a fookin' farmer, aye? Just tell me where the fuzzy little bastards are, the prick inside is likely to have a heart attack if they ain't back soon and I ain't keen on that....not that I give a shite what happens to him. I just ain't drunk enough fer any o' this."
Percy grumbles as he runs a hand over his face. He wasn't anywhere where he could steal a meal either....not without breaking into the old man's home and he's done enough damage around here. And it's not like Percy is about to go apologize and beg for some food before going out.
"If ye know where they are, then start walkin'." The shark does decide to swipe a few eggs from the coop as he walks past, better than nothing. One whole raw egg is shoved into his mouth and crunched under sharp teeth. "Lessgo, fuzzy bastards ain't gonna just wander home."
He will follow Valerian along if the woman does start to take the lead. On the sea he might be able to at least be of some use tracking. Reading the waters was practically second nature to him, but reading the land? Gibberish. All gibberish.

Val did not like the way the farmer-pirate (apparently he wasn't a pirate-farmer) conducted himself. As he swiped a few eggs from his coop, she wondered at the chickens' panic. Surely this is routine- even if she abhorred the way he ate that egg.
You're supposed to eat them with the shell off, my guy
"Lessgo, fuzzy bastards ain't gonna just wander home," Percy slurred as he stumbled towards Val. She could smell alcohol and several days of grime. Must have been some party.
Val took a few hesitant steps back and explained: "Ah, I think I've made a mistake. But I wish you luck in finding your animals, farmer-pirate! Now, if you'll excuse me.." She turned and walked back the direction she came, certain she could pick up the Woolfuls' trail, destructive as it was. The farmer-pirate followed behind her. Val tried to find a pace that was comfy for them as they got their sober legs under them again.
"So.. Are you a rancher, too? Or is that the guy who was yelling at you about them earlier? Hey, I've never met someone who sails and farms for a living. Do you rob other farms on some sort of land boat?"

"Ya ain't too feckin bright are ya? Already told ya I ain't a farmer...feckin listen, ya won't look like such an arsehole." Said the man who was the dictionary definition of the word.
Despite Valerian's assumption, Percy was not slurring or stumbling. This was just his accent and his legs were under him just fine. He grumbles as another egg is stuffed into his mouth. True to the tiger shark patterning, he shares the same predilection for eating whatever comes his away as actual tiger sharks.
"Some sort of land boat....ya sound dafter than the old man. Just focus on helpin' find the fuzzballs...or feck off. I don't care which one, just trying to wrap this up befer the old man dies which might be sooner rather than later."
Percy could see all the hoofprints in the dirt. It was a really confusing mess, these woolfull really got spooked it seems. The large webbed footprints in the mud make it absolutely certain to Percy that this was his fault, though he keeps that information to himself. He scans the distance unable to spot the animals, but in the far distance their pleasant bleating can be heard. Well, they sound pretty calm now.

This tracking thing is so complicated. There are more tracks here than before. Are there more Woolful now? Shortly up the path, Percy and Val managed to follow a small group of Woolful. The poor things were stuck in a brambled ditch. The Woolful were clearly branded, so they must be the farmers' animals! Poor thing, they're all scratched up. There's blood soaking through the wool of the cyan one, too! I should look at them first. They aren't moving; this might not be good. She turned to Percy with a sudden energy and asked "Do you have anything to cut these brambles? I can only punch them or make them bigger. I need to heal the cyan one." Reaching out through the thorns, she pulled several large gashes and a broken leg all back together with several soft flashes of light1. They still weren't moving, but they weren't getting worse anymore. Val's arm was sliced up and her robe was shredded, but she didn't seem to notice as sap soaked through it and dripped to the ground. Looking up hopefully at the pirate, Val knew couldn't do much more for them. With luck, we can free and heal all of them, and this man can take them back where they belong. As soon as they're safe, I can go.

"Ye hold on." Percy's solution is likely not exactly as careful as Valerian would have hoped. He simply reaches and grabs hold of the woolful before pulling it out. The sheep-like creature bleats and squirms, but when it finds itself on solid land it seems confused a moment.
"Get back home ye little arsehole." He shares a staredown with the woolful before it starts to run off back to the farm. It wasn't exactly that they understood each other or he had any special dominion over them, just a strange animalistic connection between them and him.
"The rest of ye, stop feckin movin, yer hurtin yerselves....feckin idiots." Unless stopped, the triton is set on just yanking woolful from the brambles. As far as he is concerned, Valerian seems like she was healing one of them so she can get the injured ones.
He has half a mind to just turn and rip through all the bramble, but this doesn't exactly seem like the best place to shift. The woolful are pretty jumpy and Valerian seems like the do-gooder adventuring type that might take poorly to monsters suddenly appearing. Still.....getting this job over and done with wasn't such a bad prospect either.

The unlikely duo set to work. While Val gingerly freed one or two of the ensnared animals, Percy rather savagely freed the rest. She appreciated the beastial strength the pirate employed in their rescue mission. Maybe he really does care about the Woolful.
It took a bit of elbow grease, but the pair of them got through it. He didn't have to be so rough with the poor things, but I'm glad he was able to free them. After she had checked each of them over (as well as she could- the poor things were still spooked), she turned to Percy. "Can you take them back to that farmer? He seemed really loud, but I get the feeling you're louder. I don't do well with yelling, anyway."
The forest was filled with the bleats of freedom, panic, and pain. Doing what she could for the Woolfuls, Val grew grass out of the forest floor as she went, so they had something to eat. The ground was trampled pretty badly, but her magic took to it well enough.
"I want to thank you, I suppose. Without your brute strength, I'd have been here all day tearing at these thorns. Anyway," She smiled halfheartedly up at the triton. "Thanks, dude."

Every sheep comes with a mix of bleating and expletives from the pirate. The way Percy yells and responds would have you think he understands the woolful. He certainly carries on as if there is some sort of conversation going on. In reality, he is just a grown man yelling at a stranger's livestock. Not quite as amazing when you put it like.
"Go on now get." He kicks some dirt to shuffle the few stragglers back home. They still meander and take winding paths, but they are more or less on farm property again which is an improvement.
"Shoulda kept one of the bastards to eat....shite." He grumbles and rubs the back of his head as he looks back towards the farm. "Ah, you can go tell whatever his feckin name was, I don't know....He might actually pay ye fer bustin yer arse out here gettin' them. He sure as shite ain't goin' tah pay me."
Percy convieniently leaves out that the reason he wouldn't get paid is because he caused all of this. That didn't seem pertinent.
