Crafting System
Unlocked at Renown Tier Two: Tradesfolk
As you rank up through the Renown System, you gain access to the Blacksmith which also allows you to partake in the Crafting System. By collecting materials from creatures during specific quests, events and world activities, you can use the Crafting System to combine those materials for the chance to create new custom items you can add to your inventory.
As you rank up through the Renown System, you gain access to the Blacksmith which also allows you to partake in the Crafting System. By collecting materials from creatures during specific quests, events and world activities, you can use the Crafting System to combine those materials for the chance to create new custom items you can add to your inventory.
How it Works
When crafting, you list the two materials you want to combine, then hit the Dice on the menu bar. The dice roll will determine if the creation was a success or a failure, with success rates increasing based on your renown level. When crafting you must list if you have any bonuses to the craft and how much it is, those bonuses can be found below.
You must roll a 13 or higher for the crafting to be a success.
- At Renown Tier Two: Tradesfolk - Add +2 to your roll
- At Renown Tier Three: Dignitary - Add +4 to your roll
- At Renown Tier Four: Noble - Add +6 to your roll
There are two types of Crafting Components: Common and Rare. If you fail a craft, you will lose any common materials used in the craft, but Rare materials are not destroyed, and you instead get to keep Rare components from a failed craft.
You must list out a rough idea of what you want the item to be, keeping in mind that any abilities or functions must match the qualities of the material component used. Staff will then work with you to tweak the item. When crafting items from materials you can be creative with what you make, but keep in mind staff reserve the right to accept or deny any crafted item.
There are a few limitations in our Crafting System which are listed below along with some general rules for the system.
- NPCs minions, pets, mounts or other types of NPCs cannot be crafted
- Alchemical potions, poisons, tonics, and toxins can only be crafted by the Golden Consortium (Members or Hired)
- You can only craft an item from a shop you posses a level of a Skill in (crafting a blade requires Blade Skill, etc)
- Spells, Martial and Stealth Abilities cannot be crafted through the Crafting System
- Grafts and Tattoos can be made (within reason)
- Each crafted item comes with one enchantment slot (does not apply to items that cannot be enchanted for example the hood, padding, ammunition, etc.)
- A crafted item can be traded between characters you own (the character receiving the new item must be able to use it)
- You cannot trade crafted items between players
- A crafted item can be used in Item Reforming, or Item Fusion
Once a final version of the item has been agreed upon, the components are used up from the crafting process to gain the new custom item which can be added to your Inventory Page.

Crafting Example
Material Component One: Claw (Offensive Material)Material Component Two: Ooze Core (Elemental Material)
Desired Outcome: A dagger made out of animal claws that drips acidic ooze and has a slimy feel to the steel. The dagger's handle is slightly sticky, allowing its owner to firmly grip the item and can not be knocked or pulled from their grip. When the blade slices into flesh, it will leave behind a burning acidic wound that will slowly eat away, making the wound bigger and bigger over time.
Roll to Succeed: +2 to roll
