The Grand Foyer
Location: Entrance
The Grand Foyer serves as the most public portion of Hawthorne Hall. Upon entrance through the twenty-foot double doors, guests are greeted with the rectangular room (360x160). The floors are smooth white marble with veins of silver. The walls are half covered with thick green velvet draping, behind which are walls made from white marble carved with detailed trees. Both ends of the room are dominated by wide staircases with intricately carved bannisters, depicting scenes from nature. The forty foot ceiling depicts the creation of magick painted in sparkling foiling. Orbs of green faerie light move slowly throughout the room. The grand staircase leads to an upper balcony which wraps around the room. The Grand Foyer typically lies empty, waiting for the day the next ball will be held.
The Apprentice Laboratory
Location: Small Addition next to the South Base of the Turret
The Apprentice Laboratory is a moderate sized building tucked in the open space between the Conservatory and kitchen. It has simple wood walls and floor, but is packed with anything an Apprentice could want. Multiple desks allows for simultaneous projects, the floor to ceiling bookcases are filled with well varied tomes, and a small cot lays under the far window. Behind the door, past Apprentices carve their names before leaving their stay at Hawthorne Hall.
The Conservatory
Location: Behind the Hidden Door on the North Wall of the Grand Foyer, Connected to the East Base of the Turret
The Conservatory is a two story tall glass building filled with rare and exotic plants, comfortable seating areas, and sculptures. It serves as a semi-formal meeting area, offering both spaces to fit on safe and armchairs or small tea tables. The Conservatory temperature is regulated via magick and lit with faerie light orbs.
The Kitchen and Formal Dining Room
Location: The Kitchen Lays Between the Conservatory and the Formal Dinning Room the East Side of the Grand Foyer
The Kitchen is a large well-lit cooking room. It is well furnished with all manner of appliances. It rarely sees person use, as most of the appliances are enchanted to cook for the Mistress of Hawthorne Hall. Hidden doors connect it to both the Conservatory and the Formal Dining Room. The main entrance to the Formal Dining Room lay under the eastern Grand Foyer Staircase. This well size room can seat twenty guests at a large oak table. The dak paneled walls are decorated with paintings and portraits from throughout Charon. The room is normally dark, with only candle of faerie light lit on the table and wall sconces.

Location: The Turret
The Study lies in the upmost room of the turret, the north western corned of Hawthorne Hall. The interior walls were paneled with finely sealed oak. Centered carvings around the room tell the circular story of Magick, the lore of her distant homeland. Her unusually large deck sits center and on a slightly elevated dais, which depicts a mosaic forest. The floor below is dark wood slats. The ceiling above follows the pointed roof of the turret and is painted deep blue with gold constellations. Directly behind her desk, opposite of the door, is a three paneled stained glass window. The panels are dominated by a centered platinum dragon. More tables are scattered around the dais. One with open cartographer charts, astrolabes, and compasses. Another with dozens of stacked books, a large open grimoire in the middle, and a bubbling cauldron lit with a magickal flame. A third is reserved for a series of glass containers and wells and tubes connected together and full of a bright green fluid. A small brass spiral staircase leads to a small balcony, where the scope of a large telescope points to the sky.

The room is more stained glass window than anything, allowing colored light to stream inside. The walls are simple cream and floors moderately dark wood. The bed is large with elaborate elfen carved headboard and beige linen sheets and blankets. A large trunk sits at the foot. A sizable bookcase is filled withromance novels next to a large brown leather chair, footrest, and side-table.
