Rena lets out a joyous cry as she circles and swoops through the air above the ship she'd chartered, savoring the feeling of the wind under her wings, the air rushing against her feathers as her wings beat over and over to keep her aloft. She’s accompanied by her husband, his wingless, spectral form swooping and spiraling next to her own as she soars high above the ship. Her silver eyes are bright with joy, clearly reveling in the ability to share the skies with her husband as she chirps and trills and caws, letting off the occasional rattling call as she dances through the air with her mate.
Their children are, unfortunately, stuck on the ground, but both are content to keep out of the way of the crew. Distant Whistle is keeping busy by going through the katas her parents had taught her, while Loci is…reading. Well, less reading and more going over his memories of the things he’s read. Can’t exactly risk any part of his collection rotting in the sea spray. Right now he’s going over the tale of a valiant knight…who’s also a princess…and a draconynh. He’s just about reached the point where the knight is tasked to rescue herself from herself, and he knows it only gets better from there…
The captain is at the wheel, carefully guiding her ship toward the last known location of the moving island that had taken a rather important noble in its latest change of scenery. Someone had paid Rena and her murder a tidy sum to retrieve said aristocrat…and who are crows to say no to a fresh supply of shinies?

Quest Name: Moving Islands
Participants: Two or more
Location: Coastal Regions, Open Sea
Post Requirements: 5 posts per person, 200 words per post
Reward: +1 Renown
Description: While enjoying a day by the sea, a few locals have ended up on a small island, either fishing, swimming or just taking in the warm spring air. However, this random, inconspicuous sand bar, island or patch of land happened to be the back of a Shoalback Leviathan which has been disturbed and is now headed out to deeper water. The creature has begun to move out to deeper water, leaving those left on its back stranded. If not assisted they could end up lost forever. Be cautious, even though these creatures are not typically hostile, they can get scared easily and will lash out, using their massive body to create waves. If they are harmed or injured, they may dive beneath the surface, bringing anyone still on or attached to them down with it.
