This is really happening.
C'Leena's mind is racing at a million miles a minute, struggling to process the fact that she's getting ready to be married. In less than an hour, she will be able to call Nephele her wife and have it be legally correct. In many ways, C'Leena already considered Nephele to be her wife, but she never publicly said so - at least in a bragging sense. To have that finally change is an incredible feeling.
For such an event, C'Leena is dressed nicely. Wearing a black suit and white undershirt, with her blazer having a natural green accent to the lapels, carefully embordered with vines that has small, delicate flowers in certain spots along the vine. Around her neck is a tie, matching the accent and embroideries of the blazer. The main color of the blazer is black, with silver lines running down the entire surface.
Hanging from her right shoulder are two golden chains, pinned to her shoulder pad on one end, and under a lapel on the other. It dangles loosely and her hand seems to find its way to the delicate chain time and again, her nerves getting the better of her.
With a sigh, she pulls on a pair of gloves and fixes up some small details. Adjusting how the tie hangs on her neck, ensuring the clip is secured and a million other things. After about a minute of this, she summons a replicant in front of her[1] and analyzes the duplicate carefully. The mirror image stays still right up until she starts adjusting things, with the duplicate mirroring her actions.
Finally, she looks into the replicant's eyes. With a small push of her will, they change to her original smoke-grey iris. A gentle color that she's always been fond of. Then it switches to the brilliant gold. Striking and stunning, almost demanding your attention. Herself and Nephele are going to be the center of attention for today, after all, so perhaps this fits? She returns the eye color to the gemstone aquamarine right as Cyran walks in the tent.
The wedding is taking place along a beach just west of Stargazers Village. With a desire to incorporate fey tradition, the wedding taking place by the water is a necessity. As the tent flaps open, the sounds of the wind and waves come through, announcing his presence when his footsteps didn't. Along with the sound, the smell of sea salt wafts in as well. A strong scent that C'Leena has long since considered to be oddly soothing.
C'Leena turns to Cyran and smiles. A nervous smile, but genuine. "What, no knock? Could've been changing for all you knew." She prods playfully, a toying tone to her voice. Despite her jokes, her hands shaking and distinct look in her otherwise featureless eyes give away the extent of her nervousness.
"Do I look alright? Shit, I should've just gone with the classic black and white - this is way too much, isn't it?" Her choice to go with a natural green was one of impulse. Try something new. In hindsight, perhaps it was indeed a bit much, and despite her knowing that her choice is set in stone, it doesn't stop her from panicking about it.
After a moment, she takes a breath. Forcing herself to slow down and sift through the fog of her ADHD-addled mind, she moves to more important topics. "I'm really glad to see you here, Cyran." C'Leena quickly closes the distance and hugs Cyran, letting go after a few moments. "I had a feeling you'd be here, but it's a relief to actually see it. Del probably told you, but I invited her as well after I ran into her. Did she make it?"
She doesn't actually know who has and hasn't been able to attend. Those she invited are generally friends of the couple, be that just normal, everyday people or others like Cyran and Del. It's not a particularly big event, but there were a somewhat decent amount of invites sent out.
"Waitwait, have you checked on Nephele yet? What does she look li- No wait, you can't tell me. Oh my god she's going to look incredible, I can feel it." She giggles giddily, her hands in constant motion. She looks back to Cyran with a look of awe, like she just rediscovered something. "Cyran, I'm getting married. This is really happening - it's not a dream, it's not anything like that. This is real and I'm going to be able to call her my wife, Cyran. How fucking incredible is that?" Within moments, her tone goes from anxiety addled to extremely excited, with C'Leena becoming far more active as her excitement grows.
Of course she's still nervous, but her excitement to see Nephele and be able to marry her is overshadowing it a thousand-fold. Never in a million years did she think she'd be in this position, but against all odds, here she is. Starting out as a chance encounter near Thunderhoof Village right up until now. The thought alone is incredible.
