A man walks up to Sarne the man seems to be a nobleman from the King's Valley he had a few servants with him. "I am a local Lord in this Valley I am Lord Lardic and you look like a strong man and a knight I have an offer for you If you will hear me out. And the person behind you. Nieven is your name? Or that's what my servants say," explained Lord Lardic with a delightful smile.
Sane gave a glance behind him. Nieven Sarne thought never heard the name before. "Go on Lord Lardic I will hear you out," replied Sarne who did not seem impressed by Lord Lardic.
Making a happy smile Lord Lardic's eyes lit up. "I have some animals I would like to race and some of my riders got injured lately. I will sponsor you in the race you see it would help me out and get you some reputation around here if you win or at least race. It that easy." explained Lord Lardic. "So will you help me you two?" Lord Lardic asked with his hand clasped together in front of him looking like he was almost begging.

Nieven stood by taking in the local festivities as he glanced around making himself look important and busy. He leaned over the counter of a stall trying to look like he had better places to be at while his eyes looked around him noticing the people glancing at him with adoration in their eyes, at least that's what he thought.
He had originally come to King’s Valley to simply watch the races occur as a bystander, it was a simple hobby of his but he did enjoy watching horseback riding finding it to be just so fascinating. He glanced forward as he saw someone steal the spotlight from him, quickly recognizing him as a member of nobility from his demeanor and attire.
Quickly with grace he lifted his shoulder from the stall and walked behind Sarne from a couple of feet trying to look as unbothered and bored as possible all the while his eyes and ears intently paying attention to the noble fellow’s speak with Sarne eagerly.
His eyes widened and his ego grew as the noble mentioned him by name and called him over, he walked with a slow swagger and a look of amusement as he stood next to Sarne.
“Why hello there Lord Lardic was it? Yes tis’ I Nieven and I’d be perfectly fine with riding on one of your esteemed animals. I’ll honor you by not only racing but getting first place”, the elf had a cocky-looking smile on his face confident about his own words.
