The flight into Darkveil had exhausted Octavia and Mariana both. Guiding a Griffon over the mountains surrounding the city, not to mention avoiding the strange creatures and other dangers that seemed all too at home there, had strained her wits and stamina almost to breaking. She sat now on some crates in front of a warehouse in the city's square reading the letter that had brought her there. An old friend had requested her to pick up and deliver a special item he'd had commissioned by a local artist. He gave her a letter with an address and simple instructions.
She wore a flowing green tunic, linen trousers, and black leather boots. She had dusted the majority of the ash and dirt from her travels off but the whole outfit had taken on a grey tone due to the remnants. Her wavy brown hair held the same tinge of gray and as she brushed a few strands aside some flakes of ash drifted away in the wind. She wore her cuirass still but her helmet and shield were strapped to Octavia who had remained to rest at the Inn. Her halberd leaned against her shoulder, its pommel resting on the street.
She read the letter over once more before heading to her destination.
'Dearest Madam Eadburg,
I appreciate your kindness in retrieving this work of art for my collection and will of course pay handsomely upon it's reception.
Look for the peculiar home on the edge of town, follow the street in front of the Inn to its end near the walls. It will stand out...
Your's truly, Lord Pierro Marconius'
She crumpled the letter and shoved it into one of the pouches at her waist, stretched and headed on her way. Stand out could mean anything, but if this particular friend thought it did she could only assume the house would be spinning on its foundation and singing folk tunes. A girl could hope at least.
As she traversed the city streets in the home's direction a man rushed through the crowd and collided with her, knocking her to the side and causing her to trip over a nearby bench. The fellow was equally displaced by the impact and as a result of bashing into her cuirass now lay in the street gripping his shoulder and grunting in pain.
"Ahh, god's! Can this day get any worse?" The young man, still a boy by the look of his face and its lack of even a hint of peach fuzz, growled out through a scowl. He wore the clothing of nobility, the outfits plainness would place him in a small local house or as a courtier in some larger house.
Mariana rose making her own sounds of pain and hobbled over to him, limping slightly where her knee had struck the bench earlier.

The morning sun shined through the door as Flint made his way out of the Inn, as a result he shielded his eyes trying to keep his pounding hangover at a manageable level. Despite feeling groggy after a night of drinking, among other activities that he can't seem to remember at the time, he has had enough of the city and felt the call of the desert once again. He placed his black wide brim hat onto his head and threw his tattered cloak over his shoulder as he strode towards the market center to make a quick supply run before starting his journey back to Zeinav.
Flint bought the bare minimum he needed for his journey and a nice bottle of local whisky with the remaining solars he had. With his bag thrown over his shoulder and a fresh baked meat pie in his hand he made his way towards the city gates. He took a quick bite of his breakfast, and he was pleasantly surprised that it was delicious. Although before he could even get a second bite in, a person bumped into him after he seemed to have ran into someone else. Not fully expecting a person to knock into him he loses his grip of his food. The hand pie dropped to the ground in almost slow motion, and the very second it hit the ground Flint could feel the rising anger in him and his gaze shifted from the pie to the young man, glaring daggers at him.
Flint then picked him up by his shirt collar, "The hell's wrong with you kid!? watch where you're going!" he shouted at him he then noticed out of the corner of his eye the armored individual he ran into. Despite his curiosity of her, he kept his attention on the young man who at this point was a stuttering mess. "I-I'm sorry, I j-just need some help. It's u-urgent!". Flint then let out a frustrated sigh as he set him back down to his feet. "Fine, what is it? ... also are you two alright?" he said begrudgingly as he looked between the young man and the armored individual both seeming to be in a pain from the crash.

Javal was in Darkveil finishing a mission and turning in a small cat to its elderly owner he smiled glad to have another job accomplished.
“Well I’m here now might as well find something to do here will I can before I leave to do another mission", he thought to himself.
He headed to the local street vendor to buy a sandwich he ordered a delicious meatball and Ashland jerky sandwich and was happy to eat it at the inn with a nice cup of sake.
He was ready to walk over to the local Inn to both rent a room and try to meet some new people, making new friends after all was Javal’s favorite thing to do and fighting.
Everything was fine although a bit crowded until suddenly javal and his precious sandwich were knocked over by some sort of worried kid.
Javal yells out in painful agony, “Noooooooooo my sandwich my poor poor sandwich you were too good for this world”, he held his sandwich in his arms as he laid it to rest in the streets.
He turned to face the perpetrator of this sandwich-based homicide, “Hey there sir you have to be more careful otherwise such delectable foods shall go dying in the streets because of you”.
He then looks around the area noticing two familiar faces also seemingly victims of this sandwich-killing noble fellow.

Seeing the locals shake their heads in disdain at the young fellow while keeping a good distance from him indicated he had a reputation of sorts, perhaps he was an outcast, perhaps his reign of terror on lunch had been a long one... She and the fellows who stood mourning their food would be well aware next time. Wait...
Her eyes shot to the tiefling, a look of surprise and joy filling her eyes. This had to be him, though he had less arrows sticking out of him and a more hardened appearance than she remembered. Most of all he had survived the ordeal, perhaps that meant the little halfling had as well. Her thoughts returned to the present as the young noble stammered on about needing help of some sort and the stranger he'd crashed into after her checked on the two of them.
"I'm perfectly fine, I feel worse for the boy's shoulder." She said rubbing her hurt knee.
After being asked what was going on the young noble rose to his feet uttering a string of apologies to everyone as he did.
"I-I went to the guards, a-adventurers at the inn, everyone! They all called me crazy, said I was just some poor abandoned apprentice. My master wouldn't do that! He's... in there... but no-one will believe me." He was rambling, waving his uninjured arm about and pacing between them.
Mariana took a few steps over to stand near Jamal, Zaval, it was something like that right? Either way she knew him, and she owed him thanks. The youngster's plea could wait a moment longer, he needed to calm down before they could get any real info out of him anyways.
"I can hardly believe it, it is you. You are truly full of surprises aren't you. After we take care of... whatever this is... I'd love to sit down at the tavern and tell you all about what happened after you left, and to hear the same from you." She smiled up at Javal with a face of anticipation, mostly for telling her own version of the kidnapping and subsequent bandit raid.
While she greeted him the poor noble finally caught his breath and gave a better account of the situation to the three of them.
"Let me start again. This is time sensitive as the enchantment is growing more and more unstable. You see, my master is an artist and enchanter, he created a painting that can be experienced from, umm, within. He was adding some final details and is now... stuck... inside of it." His face betrayed desperation and an awareness of the absurdity of his story.
Mariana broke out in laughter, slapping the boy on the back of his injured shoulder, causing him to wince in pain.
"I'm serious!! He could die in there! The things in the painting are dangerous, they're trying to capture him. Please, please either help me or send me to someone who will!" He was on his knees now, face planted in the dirt in supplication. The corpse of a sandwich and a meat pie lie on either side of his head, giving the gesture a more comedic effect than intended.
Artist...Special painting... This seemed like exactly the thing Pierro would spend far too much money on.
"I'll bite, where is this painting?" She looked to the two men after. "My name is Mariana Eadburg, at your service. Do the two of you plan to investigate this as well?"

Flint seemed to get bored of the young man's ramblings and let out a long yawn. "hold you horses kid, one moment" His eyes then shifted to the purple tiefling, and like Mariana a look of recognition appeared on his faces. He strutted over to him with his hands on his hips and clapped his hand onto his shoulder "wellllll do my eyes deceive me, or is that Javal Zarrias. I would've thought that you would've left darkviel by this point, and it seems you two already know each other." he said as his glace bounced between Javal and Mariana.
Though before Flint could introduce himself, he saw the out of the corner of his eyes the young man on his knees pleading for help. He looked down to him with slight disgust, he found his pleading to be borderline annoying and now he's on his knees. He heaved a sigh then grabbed the mans injured shoulder and hoisted him to his feet "Get up kid, don't go begging on your hands and knees, makes you look pathetic ... and here this'll help" 1Flint gripped his hand tighter as purple light emanates from the tattoo on his face, then the light quickly streaked down his shoulder and arm. Once the light engulfed his hand he casts greater healing on the mans shoulder. Once he released his grip his hand was steaming "there now you owe me"
The young man rolled his shoulder slowly looking in disbelief and laughs a little bit "Oh, um thank you. But I really do need you help! He doesn't have much time are you going to help or not!? PLEASE HE DOESN'T HAVE MUCH TIME!" his pleading became more and more desperate as time went on. "Fine, Yeah I'm in" he then shifted his attention to Mariana, he then tipped his hat and held his hand out for a handshake "the name's Flint Caldwell, it's a pleasure to meet ya. Hopefully this will be a fruitful business partnership" he said with a slight bit of sarcasm and a smirk. Then glanced over to Javal "you in too Javal? I'd love to witness the skills you've mentioned in action"

Javal smiles brightly and his face completely changes from a sad look of mourning his beloved sandwich to a look of relief and remembrance, “Mariana I can’t believe it’s you, I’m so sorry I failed to come back and save you that day. However, I knew you’d be able to survive and I’m glad I was right. You’re right we have to catch up and talk at a local tavern however first we must deal with this poor sandwich killer".
Javal then turns to look at the familiar cowboy face, “Well if it isn’t my friend Flint how’re you and I see you have been made victim to his boy’s homicidal food tendencies. I had another mission here in Darkveil and after I completed it I was about to eat a delicious sandwich and enjoy a free day but you see how that went".
Javal smiled wide holding the boy by his shoulders, “Don’t worry my friend I completely believe you however you need to explain to me what’s wrong so I can help you out".
He then quiets down to listen to the poor boy tell his recollection of what had happened. Javal’s face gets serious as he hears the boy’s pleading about retrieving his master from the painting.
He smiles once more and says, “Alright I’ll help you and your master just point me in the direction and I’ll bring your master back”.

Mariana watched in awe as Flint healed the youngster's shoulder, she had seen a fair share of magic in mercenary companies but very few healers. Those she had run into had been reserved for the most valuable soldiers and captains. To see the same magic used to heal a stranger on the streets was confusing to say the least. With a modest idea of his personality she was glad to return the handshake firmly and even gave a courteous bow to him.
"Glad to meet you Flint, I sense we'll find ourselves an easy pairing to bare. Javal, good to have your help again!" She turned in an instant from genteel and refined to commanding and stern as she transitioned from speaking to her new partners to the young fellow. "Now, boy, what is your name, who is your master, and where is his home?"
His head shot to her in surprise, then darted between the three of them as he tried to decide who to speak to.
"M-my name is Edric, my master is the painter Lord Alesandro Bo-boricelli, and his home is only a short sprint in this direction! Thank you, oh thank you!" He was already beginning to jog before Mariana caught him by the arm and slowed him.
"Easy! It doesn't sound like he's going anywhere fast, walk at a reasonable pace. I refuse to watch you murder additional meals along the way." She said with imperious sarcasm.
The road to the house was a simple one, a few passersby gave them glances of approbation with clear disapproval for the young fellow leading them. It was easy to see this painter had few fans in the city, perhaps he'd painted one too many of their wives and husbands in the nude? She held a slim hope that they would find an artist being pursued by a horde of oil based lovers.
They finally came upon the house and Mariana was taken aback by it. Her contact had truly not lied, it definitely stood out...

Flint let out an impressed whistle as he shook Mariana's hand "Damn, you got quite a grip, and sounds about right". When she released his hand he smirked as he jokingly flicked his hand like she had injured it. Seeing that Mariana had taken charge of the situation Flint reached into bag and pulled out his pack of cigarettes, with metallic a ping of his lighter he quickly lit one. He took a long drag as he watched on with crossed arms. despite healing the young fellow his distrust of him was very much apparent as he glared at him with his piercing yellow eyes, even though only his right one worked.
As the three walked towards the house Flint leaned in towards the other two, and said in a hushed tone "How much do you wanna bet that this is just a ploy to get us to buy one of his masters paintings? I mean look how many people are just glarin' down this kid. This probably ain't his first time tryin' this kind of thing with others ... look If it does turn out to be scam I'm gonna deck him in jaw." his smirk returned as he possibly joked about it, though it's unclear if he was actually was or not. In truth He hadn't made up his mind yet, and it depended on how well the next couple minutes would go. Leaning away from the others now he took another puff of smoke and blew it out of his nose, still glaring daggers at Edric trying to get a better read of him.
"R-right here we are." shouted Edric, Flint almost lost his cigarette as his jaw dropped when he caught a glimpse of the painter's house. The structure of the house seemed to be in non-stop movement, just from the outside you could tell that the rooms within shift places almost every couple of minutes. Windows and doors spinning in odd but still mechanical movements. The most eerie part of the building was that the only thing that wasn't moving, the front door, it was just a simple white wooden door with a gold knocker in the shape of a paint brush. The sound of grinding gears and steam echoed through the surround area as they approached closer, Flint grit his teeth as the sound was almost unbearable. "Kid what in the hell?! what kind of jackass would live in this place?!" he had to shout as to actually be heard. "Lord Bo-borcelli normally is the one in charge of the houses movements and keeps a remote on him at all times, since he's in the painting the house has gone haywire."
Flint getting ever irritated at the sound of the house, felt like he had to act fast to get away from it. So he approached the door with purpose, each step he took he rolled his right shoulder. 1once he was close enough he cocked his arms like henry cavil in mission impossible, and an even brighter purple light engulfed his hands casting burning smite. He then took two heavy haymakers to the door, splintering it as he left two hole behind. Lastly he kicked the door off of it's hinges and walked inside. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" shouted Edric still waiting outside with the others "Gettin' this done quick, that sound is makin' me go deaf." though once inside the grinding sound seemed to become a bearable level but still was a constant droning. Flint however stopped a little ways into the house, not sure how to proceed further.

Javal was impressed to hear Flint’s healing ability seeing it again for the second time.
Javal smiles at Mariana and Flint and says, “Good to see you again too. I hope this adventure doesn’t end like the last one with me filled with arrows”, he chuckles.
Javal’s face turns stern as he hears Mariana stop the young boy remembering his poor sandwich, “I think Mariana here has a point, let's be careful not to hurt any more innocent food, maybe you can tell us more about your master on the way”.
Javal whispers back to Flint, “Perhaps that could be the case if they had a painting of a sandwich I may consider buying it as a token of remembrance. If this is a scam then he shall be brought to absolute justice however let’s just hear him out for now”.
Javal ignored the passing looks of annoyance as the group traveled to the painter’s residence.
Javal stood there mesmerized and his jaw on the floor as he stared out the house, “By Salina’s trident this is a magnificent-looking house".
Javal winced as he saw Flint break up the door disappointed to see the house being destroyed but quickly came back to action knowing they needed to act quickly and professionally.
Javal walked behind Flint noticing all of the strange paintings on the wall when he pointed at two of them and yelled, “Hey guys why does it seem like the ink on those two is moving?”.

The appearance of the artist's home only grew more strange the longer you looked at it. It reminded her of Veliky's ship, was this house gnomish in make... Her eyes moved with the pieces of the home, shifting about as the exterior did and attempting to make sense of the mess. She was snapped out of the stupor of it all as Flint blasted the front door open and Edric began screaming in horror.
"Thank you Flint, efficiency is second only to courtesy my family always said. Always hated that statement, and houses like this, too pretentious."
She followed him inside and laughed as the youngster warned Flint from touching anything else in the home, physically moving between him and some of the more valuable looking things. He made a strong effort to open every single door and hold it til they had passed, then raced to the next, clearly worried for them.
As Javal pointed out the two paintings that seemed to have flowing ink on them Mariana looked closely with eyes wide. Edric's eyes lit up as well, swelling with prideful joy.
"Ahh! These are some of his earliest attempts at creating something entirely new! It's, umm, also the same thing that he's trapped in. Just not this one! He kept the most advanced, the most ambitious of his works in a secret room. Here, follow me."
Edric ran ahead to open the next door, pushing it out into the next room just as a set of loud mechanical clinks rang out from the doorway. His eyes filled with terror and his mouth opened but before the words could escape the room was gone. It was replaced instead by a wall of polished brass that seemed to be rushing past, gears and pistons shot in and out of view as well.
Mariana stepped back to avoid getting crushed by whatever was beyond the door and unknowingly moved past a high archway. A familiar clink sounded and the archway she'd passed under descended to the floor as she ascended up to the second floor of the home. She found herself in a tea room, beautifully decorated and with a soft jazzy note playing from a magical song box. A plate with a cup of tea and some cookies sat on a table near an armchair by the fire.
It would've been wonderfully peaceful if she hadn't been separated from her companions in a malfunctioning house of horrors.

"Don't you dare touch anything else" snapped Edric as he pointed accusingly at Flint. In response jokingly flint put his hands up, almost knocking over an expensive looking vase in the process. "well look at you havin' a little bit of backbone, but no promises kid." he joked as Edric kept shuffling in front of him to hopefully prevent him from causing anymore property damage. Flint watched in clear confusion as Edric darted between each of the doors that they went through, however he felt somewhat assured by having someone who knew how the house works lead the group. Still he would purposely glare daggers at him every time he got in between him and something expressive, almost made him want to break them even more each time it happened.
He was close to punching a small glass sculpture that probably costed thousands of solars, but got distracted when Javal mentioned the two paintings. He strutted closer to inspect the artwork, however to him it just looked like just a canvas blotched with random swirling colors. Whatever deeper meaning the painter put into the pieces were lost on Flint "I ain't even gonna try and guess what he was trying to go for on this on". His gaze shifted to the other one it somehow looked even more confusing than the first and he groaned "oh come on, what even is that?" he could only guess how pretentious the painter was if this was how his art looked.
Yet he continued forward with rest of the group, until he stopped and braced himself when the sound of clicks came from the doorway. "Shit! Kid look out" his warning falling on deaf ears as the room that Edric was in disappeared somewhere into the house, he had tried to lunge to grab him but he was ultimately too slow. He whipped his head around to the group only to see Mariana not present as more clicking sounds echoed closer. he looked to Javal "Damn, Javal you try to find the kid, I'll try and find Mar-" but before he can finish his sentence a wall to the right of him opened up and like a speeding train a perpendicular hallway rushed through and scooped Flint away deeper into the bowels of the house.
Flint held on for dear life as he was rushed through the house until the hallway suddenly stopped, allowing him the chance to get to his feet. The Hallway looked like one you would see in a hotel as a multitude of doors lined the walls, but before he could fully get his bearings his surrounds suddenly flipped. His feet made contact with the wall as the lines of doors were now under his feet, This fucking house flint thought to himself as he ran to one of the doors. He attempted to open it finding it to be locked before he squatted down and busted the door in with one heavy punch causing him to fall through the doorway. He was spat out into the next room as the hallway rushed on without him.
Flint then got to his feet dusting off only to see that he had ended up in an extravagant dining area, portraits lined the walls and a long wooden table sat in the middle of the room. The room was lit by only the candles at the table causing the edges of the room to cast these long shadows. Flint approached the table only to find it prepared with what seemed to be a freshly cooked banquet of food, and as flints eyes followed the length of the table they stopped at the head. There sat a figure, he couldn't seem to get a good look at them as the shadows around them seem to cling to them, preparing for a fight he cocked his arms as the 1radiant purple light engulfs his hands

Javal was about to jump and tackle the boy from whatever trap he had accidentally put the crew in but he was too late as the kid quickly was shifted into another room. He was trying to look for a way to get to him. He looks as Mariana suddenly disappears before them, likely following the same fate as the poor boy. He then turned to see what Flint had planned only to hear his words as he was suddenly walled off and disappeared.
Javal had his hands on his waist as he chuckled, “Well it seems like I was the only one not transported to some other place”.
He then felt the floor under him shift and make cranking noises as he was boxed in seeing strange carpet patterns on the walls and floors before getting thrust into a strange room.
Javal then looked around noticing the room was some sort of storage area filled with art pieces but what stood out to him was the three tall armored puppet figures filled with some sort of rippling effect that looked like the ones he saw earlier.
As he got closer to observe the paintings on the wall he accidentally tripped over an easel and touched one of the paintings.
Suddenly Javal heard the three puppet art pieces send out a large scream and creepily get into fighting stances.
Javal raised his sword and said, “Looks like whatever this is it’s going to be one is going to be a great work of art”.

Separated or not, house of horrors or not, this room was an opportunity and she an opportunist. She strolled over to the arm chair by the lit fire and took a seat in the far too comfy chair, what was this thing even made of? It was the softest material she'd ever rested her tush upon. The fire's glowing warmth only added to the effect and her mind was taken off of the clinking and shifting of metal resounding around her by the jazzy tunes playing on the music box. She took a cup of tea in both hands before blowing the steaming liquid to cool it slightly before taking a sip. It smelled of mint and... cinnamon? Hmm, even his tea was eccentric. She took a sip and was pleasantly surprised but the combo. Moving on to the cookies, they appeared to be simple biscotti, the type her family had served when other nobility had breakfasted with them.
She raised the cookie to her lips and was about to take a bite when she heard heavy wet breathing over her left shoulder. She turned slowly and found the sound's source to be a particularly creepy painting of a heavily distorted human face. The thing was breathing... She assured herself it was just a figment of her imagination and took a hesitant bite of the cookie in her hand. As soon as she crunched down two black leathery hands snaked out of the painting and dug twisted claws into the wall on either side of it. The heavy breathing grew excited and the head of the thing stretched out of the canvas. The wall around the painting cracked and splintered before the misshapen ten foot man burst through the wall with a primal scream. His facial features seemed to float about his face, growing and wriggling with bloodlust as it took a stuttering step in her direction.
She quickly shoved the rest of the biscuit in her mouth and rose with her Halberd in hand sending a mental scream to Octavia as she did. The griffon responded with an acknowledgement as the creatures hobbled closer and swung a scraggly arm tipped with claws towards her face.
"What sort of twisted mind comes up with this kind of thing!?!" Mariana yelled through a mouthful of biscuit.
Mariana twirled the halberd about her body in a practiced pattern and deflected the first arm. The second grabbed for her leg, stretching unnaturally far from the thing's shoulder as it did. Mariana was able to see the attach but her attempt to jump over the claws only caused the thing to draw back and catch her on the back as it did. The oily black claws ripped through the cuirass's steel, tearing the straps loose and leaving a gash in the back of her tunic as it drug the cuirass back to itself. It shoved the whole piece of armor into a stretched mouth, swallowing it whole.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" She prepared to run, deflecting another striking claw as she retreated. The only chance for escape she saw, due to the unusual layout of the house, was the hole the creature had come through.

The room stood eerily still as Flint solely focused on the figure, the light from his smite illuminating the room only slightly more than it was when he entered. For a couple seconds he stood there, watching and waiting for the shadowed figure to move even an inch. Yet the figure never moved, not even the slightest twitch or the rhythmic rising and falling of breathing. Flint took a single step forward, still keeping his fists in front of him in a defensive manner. Though the instant his boot made contact with the smooth tiled floor, the figures head suddenly snapped to Flint as two glowing red lights leered at back at him. A startled flint rushed forward in an attempt to destroy what ever this thing was before it had a chance to do the same to him. He threw a right hook and an uppercut towards what he thinks is the head of this thing, only to swig wide and make contact with the air. The purple radiant energy from his hands dispersing into the space where it once was, as the shadow has now disappeared.
With the room now dimmer Flint's eye quickly darted around the surroundings, attempting to locate the two red lights he spotted earlier. Once again the room stood still, the only sound that flint could hear was the pounding of his heart and his breath. Until the sound of metallic skittering broke the silence, it seemed to be only originating from the shadowed areas of the room, something is moving in here and it is fast. It scuttled close enough for Flint to give it a good kick, whatever it was it was was pretty light as it was launched into one of the walls and broke into tiny pieces. Flint approached the broken mess of gears and springs, even with it's now misshaped appearance it still resembled that of a beetle, only about the size of a housecat. "what in the hell are you?" he asked as he inspected the remains, suddenly the hair on the back of his neck stood up as he could now feel something was wrong. Without warning the candles in the room suddenly went out leaving him in pitch darkness, the only light in the room was the lit cigarette on his lips.
For the third time the room stood eerily still, until he turned around to see the dozens of pairs of the red lights that glared back at him. 1He cocked his arms once again engulfing them in radiant light, which only seemed to anger them as a cacophony of skittering echoed through the room. Sticking to the darkness the machines darted around him, only making their way into the light to leave a sizable slash as they lunged past Flint. The darkness, plus the speed at which these beetles moved disoriented flint so he blindly swung into the darkness, and actually managed to take out one of them with a burst of radiant energy. However it wasn't enough as Flint was continuing to be swarmed on all sides, he felt like he could be shredded apart if he stayed here any longer. Out of instinct he started to back himself towards one of the walls.
Then with a stroke of luck he could hear the shifting of the rooms, as the wall he was backing towards swapped to a large pane of glass. Light filled the chamber causing the metallic bugs to screech and retreat back to whatever shadows were left. Flint thanked whatever higher being took pity on him as he turned on his heel and sprinted towards the glass seeing it as his only way of escape. He then took a running leap towards it, crashing through it as the wall shifted again. Flint dropped a considerable distant landing with an almost sickening thud. Flint laid there for a second breathing heavy, then felt the ground below him. It felt like ... grass? Flint quickly sat up surveying his surroundings, plants and foliage filled the space around him he could only assume that he had escaped to some kind of green house or garden. He didn't care at the moment it was more peaceful than the nightmare room he was just in as he laid back back down to rest for a moment.

Javal went into a fighting stance and charged at the three art show puppets, slicing them into pieces before turning back to admire his swordsmanship.
He soon found that curiously the sliced puppets were begging to put themselves back together with the strange moving paint on them acting as some sort of living glue.
“Oh great heavens”, Javal thought, “How can I defeat an opponent that will simply come back”, as he slashes through one of the puppet’s head’s that was delivering a surprise attack to his back knocking it down to the floor.
“Oh wait I know exactly what to do”, Javal exclaims as he thought of an ingenious idea he waits for the three puppets to jump in attempting to ambush him together.
He opens his mouth and delivers a large cone of ice breath freezing the automatons over and keeping them in an ice stasis.
Javal then chuckles before looking around hoping to see an exit from this beautiful house, he turns and looks at a door hidden in the corner.
He struggles to get through but he manages and finds himself free falling through a hole in some sort of ceiling.
He comes crashing down and lands on bright green grass, he looks holding his legs that slightly hurt from falling.
