The air, the semi clear sky, a familiar sight. That's what Sky Gardens gives to me, a place away from home that feels just like it. While many pass by and linger on certain areas, little can happen to change the flora on this land. The full overbearing of the nature truly surpasses other forms of chaos.
I look over to Nit who was messing with some herbs to a few of the rarer teas he knows. I could tell the admiration he hold for nature from the delicacy in which he handles the plants. I slowly walked away from him, giving him time for himself, knowing I could be a lot to handle. I reach a fast flowing stream crossing the area with vicious intent. I elegantly lay my doll down on a rock, placing them in a sitting position to look at the tree line on the other side.
As this is one of the few places I can play with little audience watch, I did a quick scan of the area once more. I summon my violin and bow1 into my arms, tuning it to my perfection and listening to the rhythm of the world around me. I place my violin upon my shoulder, holding it sternly and delicately, and play to the music of nature.

C'Leena was getting tired of all the walking, both in a literal and metaphorical sense. Weaving through trees and following a stream flowing as if it were trying to cut itself a new path by tomorrow afternoon.
Despite her weary body, C'Leena has been thoroughly enjoying the expanse of nature. It was all incredibly new to her in ways that astounded her, but also discomforted her. There have been many times where she heard an animal call and felt a need to keep as far away as possible from whatever made that noise.
The hours tick by. Without a watch, keeping time is rather difficult, but judging by the sun, she'd been out here for a large portion of the day. While she was walking, however, she heard something familiar for once.
A violin? She thought to herself, and found herself walking in the direction of the music. There was an ethereal feeling to the sound. The bow dragging across the strings in ways that felt both haunting and beautiful in ways she didn't quite know was possible. Soon enough, she found the source.
From one side of the river stood C'Leena. Roughly a 6' woman with an olive skin tone, short, curly black hair and - most jarring of all - crystalline aquamarine eyes. They entirely lacked Irises, Pupils and Sclera, instead replaced by a solid aquamarine that, even in this lighting, seemed to faintly glow.
She was wearing clothing that seemed extremely odd to those that have lived in Charon. She was wearing what looked to be a black shirt under a large peacoat. Below all that was a pair of Jeans and a black belt accompanied by rather heavy duty working boots.
C'Leena stood, leaned up against a tree with her index and middle finger lightly resting on her lips, utterly entranced by the music playing. It was familiar not only because of the instrument, but because of who she knew that played the violin. That memory hit her hard. While it hurt, she couldn't force it away, and she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to.
She remained there, watching and listening, oblivious to the rest of the world.

The playing of the violin, the reach it's sound blows, it is always a wonder to me. So much so, that when I opened my eyes while playing nature's song I saw a single person across the stream. I stopped my playing immediately, dragging the bow down in a horrid fashion. This made a very noticeable screech. Wincing, I lowered the bow and flick it away.1 Turning to the companion in front of me, I observe for a moment the unique clothing that I never have seen before. This simple fact makes me grow a minuscule smile, new is always welcome. No matter what, the best conversations started with new, but few last past that. I keep my movements swift, grabbing my doll and clutching it close. My eyes focus on her movement and ears on her words, ready to pick apart every body movement and possible unrealized habits, each accent that may linger in their voice. Knowledge being gained through play is the funnest way, after all.

The sudden screech of the violin drags C'Leena back to reality. Truly looking at the person playing, C'Leena notices that it was a child doing all of that. That was.. wow. she thinks to herself, completely awed by the performance.
Quickly processing the fact that this very same child just.. flicked her violin out of reality, her dregs of hope that this is an elaborate joke vanish entirely. C'Leena is startled but quickly recovers.
C'Leena pushes herself off the tree and walks to the streams edge. Her gait seems off, somehow. Almost too perfect in weird ways.
"Good afternoon, miss. I'm sorry for startling you, I was walking nearby and heard you playing. It was beautiful." C'Leena says honestly. Her accent is not one you can place. It's not crude but it's definitely not one you'd hear from nobility or anything of the sort. Her speech seems forced, as if this isn't how she talks normally.
C'Leena hops over the stream with incredible grace, her hands in both pockets, she simply hops from one side, stepping on a rock that should've moved under her weight but didn't and stepped on the other side. She kneels down and you swear you heard some sort of whirring as she did so. She extends a hand to you.
"I'm Dr. C'Leena Thomas-" she pauses for a moment, "Well, it seems not much more of a doctor, but I'll make it work. Whats your name?" C'Leena smiles, showing almost perfect white teeth. Looking at her facial features closely, you notice quite a few things you didn't before.
When she smiles, it's made very clear that she smiles very often and her face has adapted to that. Second, and a little more worrisome is that there is obvious burn scarring surrounding her eyes. It looks old but not yet faded and seems likely not to. Despite this, she seems unbothered by it.
She kneels there, hand extended and eagerly awaits a response.

Despite the oddities, and the ever growing curiosity of wanting to simply puzzle out more, I knew the chance to find out some information would never present itself if I didn't do this. 1 I slowly reach and grab her hand, letting my curiosity expand upon th- no- C'Leena, to find a base to learn more. I did not miss at all the intrinsic nature that she came from, the many new and foreign objects, that came along with the memories. The major part though was the loss of a young girl, a funeral memory stuck at the forefront of her file. I lock a place in my mind to store it all, if only so I could review it over later to learn details. I gave a cheery smile, combating the influx of sadness radiating off of her memories.2 I my light kiddy voice I start to speak," Nice to meet you Doc! I'm Keyke, like the laugh!" I give a giggle to emphasize the joke. "Are you here for herbs? I know a lot, about them!" I pause and scratch my cheek a bit, "I think I know so much that my friend has learned a lot through me."
An embarrassed giggle leaves me as I look to where Nit was going to come from. He surely heard the violin, so no doubt his mother henning would take over soon.I resolved myself to question as much as I could while here. "So...um...yeah. What were you looking for?" I tilt my head slightly and look at her, allowing her to have clear veiw of my pupil-less eyes.

Theres something strange about Keyke that C'Leena can't quite place. Years of doctor consults allowed C'Leena to feel when things aren't quite right, and her gut is telling her something isn't quite right. No matter, she'll figure it out sooner or later. The eyes are slightly unnerving, vaguely dipping into the uncanny valley.
"Nice to meet you, Keyke. Beautiful name, by the way. I'm not really looking for herbs, however. I'm rather new around here and I'm not quite sure where I am and I was wondering if you could help me out a smidge?" C'Leena rubs the back of her neck, looking off behind Keyke trying to get a lay of the land. Her eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, so she only makes out vague colors and enough context to identify trees and shrubbery.
"If you don't mind my asking, where did you learn to play the violin? It was beautiful, truly. I wanted to learn, once upon a time, but my sister beat me to it," C'Leena laughs. You can tell that it's genuine, but theres still a hint of sadness hidden away.
Suddenly, her eyes go wide as she remembers something. "Hold on, before, you flicked away your violin. How did you do that?!" C'Leena looks excited and eager to learn.
If C'Leena can learn Magic...

Now few would care if a mistake was made on a violin, it is a common occurrence after all. But the thing was, Nit knew who was playing it, and knows that she would have continued if something was not around she. But she didn't, it was as silent as a forest of herbs could get. This sparked his worry, for worry came fear, and from fear came action. He quickly left the herbs he had been looking at and raced to the brook that Key loves to be around. Arriving at the scene, he sees a woman awkwardly talking to Key, if the hand on neck said anything. He slowed down his running, but sadly, he missed a rock. He trips forward, as if being released by gravity, till a force pulled the back of his shirt, righting him up as if nothing happened.1
Finding one's self lost in the gardens seems to happen more often than not, apparently, as she was the third person to ask for help finding the way out. I will say, the amazement in her eyes was palpable, from the magic or the violin was what became questionable. I decided to answer from where I learned, or well, I would have if not for Nit barreling through the trees and nearly falling on a rock. I mentally grab his shirt and lift him before he fully crashes into the ground. He becomes shocked for a moment, looking down in awe at his feet. I take this opportunity to draw the relationship between us. I do a little giddy stomp,"Nit! You are not your brother! Don't run like that!" I give a little pout as he looks at me and back to the ground, mumbling a small "Sorry..." As he was back into the forest, giving us space once more. I turn back to C'leena and give a wave to where Nit was. "That's my friend Nit, his family is the one who taught me violin!" I pluck at the memories I learned and add a little extra info,"He's also my usual pianist!" I try a giggle to break the sadness. It seems to break it as a realization hits her, causing her question of magic. I tilt my head in a very happy questioning way, "How much are you willing to learn?" I let my gaze hold a warning, if only to slow down whatever she was thinking.

C'Leenas head snapped to the figure practically booking it from who knows where. When they trip, C'Leena takes a step forward. A bit too far to catch him, but at least she could be close enough to help him up and give him a once over.
Except, that didn't happen. As if it were from a cartoon, he stops inches above the ground. More magic! That is so fucken cool she thinks, continuing to look at Nit with a curious expression before he leaves.
She looks back to Keyke as she asked a question, and a smile appears on her face. "Wonderful question! How much are you willing to teach? I don't know much at all," As she speaks, she raises her arm up, rolls back her sleeve and her eyes flicker for but a moment, and the illusory skin over her arm disappears in a wave from her shoulder to her fingertips. "I've been studying the sigaldry that this is just layered with but so far I haven't really made much progress."
"But yeah, If you're offering to teach, I'd be more than happy to learn," Her eyes flicker again and the skin returns. She hooks her thumbs into her belt, smiling widely after rolling her sleeve back down.
Today might end up not being so bad.

The excitement really shine through her gem-like eyes, but what was truly brought to my attention was the false skin that I had previously seen in her memories. She quickly talked about attempting self taught magic, luckily she was failing at it due to lack of knowledge in this world. I could only think of how I self taught myself to learn magic, leading to so many problems and messes. I let the excitement flow through me, fueling me with energy to think of a beginning lesson. I could only think of explaining a crash course of this world to gain a base. "Ok! I have an idea of where to start." I shifted where I was to stand on the stump my doll has remained. I shift and raised my and in a showy way to present the sky. "Lesson one, where it begins! The Gods!" I let the ever flowing excitement spread into a big smile. I move my showing hand to lift a finger each time I say a god, "We have Light Daddy, Dark Mommy, Earth Brotha, Sea Sista, Sky Sista, and Space Daddy!" I do a little jazz hand at the final one. I give a little giggle, "Each one represents the different magics one can do." I release a sigh and wave my hand in a circle, "They are all dead now, though."

C'Leena grew up agnostic. She wasn't one to believe in god or gods until she was given proof otherwise. Yet when hearing about the different gods, she doesn't really know what to think. The events as of recently have flipped a lot of previous beliefs on their head. She still finds it difficult to believe in that, but she's not one to begrudge others in what they believe.
"I see. And, what? The types of magic draw from the gods? If they're dead, how do they still provide magic?"
C'Leena decides it's best to play along. In the end, it might make for a good way to think about all the different magics and whatnot. Something is tickling at her mind, though. Something doesn't quite add up with this person. C'Leena has no idea where she's getting that idea from, nor is she sure where to even start trying to figure it out. Just a nagging feeling that she can't quite suppress.
Her years as a doctor have accustomed her to finding out bullshit when people spew it. Nothing seems off with what she's saying - granted, she could tell her the sky is purple to some people and she'd probably believe it - but it's just strange.
Maybe it was her non-reaction to the prosthetics? Most, if not all the people she'd met at home were at least curious. Keyke, though? No reaction to both her touch being metallic, and straight up seeing the prosthetic in all it's glory. She shakes her head, dismissing the train of thought. Perhaps this was a normal occurrence here.

I swing my legs around as I twirl on the stump, giggling at the easy answer that most current believers still latch on to. "That's so silly! Obviously not! They just helped create the types, the world would be in ruins right now if that was the case." I keep my grin on, trying to itch the ways of answering and teaching that is locked in my mind. 1 As this happens, my eyes fade in a light shape of a pupil as I explain more to C'Leena. "I, in particular, love to use space magic! An element of utility and control!" During my teaching, I look into the distance, not at C'Leena, to try my focus on that lock, not noticing my voice dipping in tone changing from light and airy to a deeper and smoother sound. At the end I lose my hold and drift back to my usual self. My smile bright and eyes clear and focused on C'Leena, "A fun toy to play with, in other words!" 1. Astral Soul

To say C'Leena was taken aback by the sudden tone pitch would be an understatement. Keyke looks off into the distance, and C'Leena glances to where she's looking, not seeing anything particularly interesting.
"I see." She responds after a second. She's not entirely sure what to make of that, but everything just got a lot more interesting with this person talking with her. Whether that was a side effect of the magic or not is up for debate, but she's hesitant to say it was the magic. Her voice sounded too natural, somehow? Unless her current ideas on magic are false, that is.
Her current feelings that something is off with Keyke skyrocket following the tone shift. She lightly frowns in thought before she schools her expression, returning to the conversation.
"What sort of magic envelops Space? You focus on Space magic; would the telekinesis you used on your mate fall under that category?" She asks inquisitively. That would be incredible to learn if she could. What other spells would fall under the Space Domain? However, there is a small test that C'Leena would like to run with Keyke. She prepares herself to take in the girls reactions.
"And is magic not dangerous? Should it really be used as a toy?" she asks honestly. It works a dual purpose: She gets to read into Keyke, and she also gets an answer to a rather concerning part of what the girl said.

I see the momentary change in her face, the process of my being clearly unnatural by any means she knows. It was evident that C'Leena was strong mentally, perhaps something proper for a first class will do. I let my smile twist to hold a bit of confusion as I play with this cycle of questions. "Obviously, space and time are part of what is held in the Space domain. Spells of quickening, slowing, elemental choosing, and even perception seeing! They all are some of the many parts of the Space domain." I skip down and closer to C'leena as I continue my words of innocence, "Oh, ya, magic is dangerous. Many things have been blooped by it." I kick a rock and and transport it to my space pocket. "But that's what makes it fun!" I raise my hands up, giggling, as I ask the big question. "Every step can be fun, every blade can be dull." I turn to C'Leena, watching the expression react as my arms lowered down slowly, "Every powerful magic can be," I flick my wrist to have the rock into my hand, "Recreated." I grow a piercing grin.

C'Leena.. wasn't entirely sure what she expected. She had hoped for something but the feeling that this isn't a normal child is overwhelming at this point. She pays attention to what Keyke had done with the rock, but her ineptitude in magic gives her absolutely nothing in return.
"You aren't a normal kid." She says bluntly. She's not one to beat around the bush, but despite her bluntness, she has a smile on her face. She bobs down and looks Keyke in the eyes. "There's been something bugging me about you, Keyke. Something doesn't add up with you. What is it that I'm missing here?"
Again, C'Leena is unsure what to expect. Her face is kind, giving the impression that, despite her question, she doesn't entirely expect an answer, but she still hopes for one anyway. The twinge in her mind is driving her mad, so getting her questions answered would be lovely.
Something strange occurs, however. In a moment so fast you might almost imagine it, a golden light flickered in a ring behind C'Leenas head. She seems completely unaware of what just occurred, however.

At the blunt observation, contradictory to the striking weapon she carries, made me giggle, causing my smile to raise to a true genuine feeling of child happiness. The irony of the words, compared to the idea of the shock that could happen if revealed, the simple thought of what could happen brought me joy. On the other hand, I could drag this out a bit... no, the bluntness of her voice and the tone along with the previous memories show that anger would be her first reaction to such play time.
These thought were what held my decision till I saw the light halo appear behind her head. "um...At least I know you have access to magic..." I give out as a light mumble. That made a whole new idea of revealing form inside my mind, a plan of truth and fun. I hold out the rock, "What would you count as normal?" I tossed the rock to the river, letting it hit before I looked back up, giving my bright smile. "Better yet! What age is a kid to you?" I give a clap with a little patter of my feet, showing excitement of what is to come.
