The Pantheon
There are six Gods that exist within the Charon Pantheon. These six deities are rumored to have created the world and the very universe itself. Each god represents one of the six domains of the universe, encompassing the qualities and traits of that domain. The people of Charon choose to worship these gods in their own way, with each one having its own kind of followers, practices and beliefs. In addition to representing their own domains, each god has its own personality, motivations and ambitions. While the people of Charon believe the world was created by them, these gods seemed to have vanished. However their presence remains, the energies and magics of each god can be felt within the world. No one knows exactly what these gods look like, but there are general representations that the majority of people acknowledge, usually using images, art or paintings to depict these heavenly beings.
Solaria
Light Domain
Solaria is claimed to be the father of the gods, creator of the heavens and the first of two beings ever to have existed. The god of the Light domain and bearer of the sun, he is the life giver and father of the universe. He is associated with the sun, daytime and light. Although all of the gods are depicted as caring and loving gods, Solaria is viewed as the most loving, rife with patience, compassion and love. Despite is warm and loving demeanor Solaria is also believed to be stern and strong, defending the rights of the mortal realm. The Sun elves believe they are direct descendants of Solaria and use him as the prime symbol of Charon.
Lunala
Dark Domain
Lunala is depicted as the mother of the gods and one of the first two beings to ever exist. She is the god of the Dark domain and usher of the moon. She is associated with the evening sky, the moon and stars and the cover of night. Viewed as the caring mother of life, her followers believe in joy, love and intimacy. The story reads that Lunala and Solaria existed alone in the void of space, and came together to create the other gods and the universe itself. While she is depicted as the loving mother, there is a darker side, with radical followers believing she is a deceiving goddess who uses her control of the night to push forward more darker ambitions.
Ginma
Earth Domain
Ginma is one of three children of Lunala and Solaria, the oldest and first created, Ginma is known as the very soul of the physical world. It is said it was him who created the earth and the planets, populated it with plant life and living beings. He represents the earth domain, controlling stone, soil, vegetation, fire, flames and the magma of the world. Druids, rangers and hunters all worship Ginma as the father of life and giver of the world.
Salina
Sea Domain
The second of three children, Salina is the god of the oceans and the life within them. She reigns over the sea domain and is known as a fickle but wise god. Full of wisdom and wonder she is known as the trickster god, having a playful, curious and child like personality. Those who worship her often live by or on the sea and understand its mighty power and majestic wonder. Followers can also fall into the more trickster type, with bards, dancers and performers following her as well.
Avasha
Sky Domain
Avasha is the third and youngest child of Lunala and Solaria, guardian of the skies and the ruler of the Sky Domain. She is a kind, shy god who is rumored to have shaped the skies, creating storms and blessing the earth with wind and rain. Depicted as a gentle calm child she is revered as a simple god, a loving god who nurtures the world by cleansing it and blessing it with the elements.
Ziev
Space Domain
Ziev is a mysterious god who was not born nor created by the two paternal gods, and instead was born from time and space itself. Manifested by the universe, he reigns over the Space domain, keeping control of time and the flow of existence. He never interferes with the mortal realm, and simply observes from beyond the void as life continues to move forward. Depicted as the wise watcher, chronicler of the universe and keeper of space.
