Edward takes the the injured villagers inside one of the houses and goes around using minor healing to heal the wounds that he can heal. He does his best to patch up the major wounds he couldn’t heal. He feels guilt and anger at himself and at the world as he heals more people. He wished that his own family could use their own resources and manpower to help people who suffer like this instead of wasting time and resources on the “eternal crusade”. Here, he can help more people and feels glad that he had such dependable folks like Mariana and Finley that help him fight off these bandits. As he finishes healing the injured, he begins to help some of them patch up their houses. Several houses were partially brunt down and many have chunks taken out of them. He tries his best but he’s no craftsman and just assists in carrying things from here to there. After doing this for a while, he joins up with Mariana and Finely when they were interrogating the bandits. The bandits apparently have a hideout deep within the forest, a couple miles away from the village. It has around ten bandits living there. The group has now captured or killed four, so there are six bandits left at the bandit camp.

Mariana had faced a great deal of danger, taken a few lives, and seen a great deal more fade away in a short time. It was all very...exciting. Her heart was racing still as she surveyed the burning village and took in the chaos of her surroundings. Edward was busy helping the villagers and plying what first aid skills he could. Finley had mysteriously wandered off, perhaps he'd make a return at some later point or perhaps not. Mariana went from dead body to dead body, burned house to burned house, looking for a particular weapon. She imagined at least one of the villagers or bandits would have one.
After getting berated by a few mourning townspeople she finally found one, a halberd, framed above a fireplace with a well maintained blade. It was obviously antique, likely a grandfather or great-grandfather's gift for service. No-one was watching and she had just saved their lives so Mariana simply yanked it from the mount and rested it over her shoulder before returning to Edward and the villagers.
"This hideout seems like an awful lot for two of us, though who ever made a reputation taking easy fights?"
She smiled to Edward, it was admirable the way he gave himself so fully to helping the villagers. They would still be easy prey, but kindness always seemed to beget kindness in her experience.
"We should probably be on our way, it's not unlikely they'll move the hideout and we'll be out of luck until they burn some other poor village."
The problem of getting there would still need solving, a particularly rough looking villager with a few clothing items of pelt seemed like the best bet for a guide. Mariana waved him over, bowing curtly before him.
"You look like a woodsman of some sort, I ask not that you take up arms but simply for guidance on our way to these bandits camp. You can clear out as soon as we get close, you'll be protecting your family... and others." She used her most pleading and proper voice, hoping he would respond to the plea.
At first he seemed taken aback by the proposal, or was it her voice, the blood covering her clothes, the stolen weapon?
"Uh.. Um, I would be, well my Erina would hang me if I let this happen again n' didn' do notin... I'll bring ya close..." And without a word further he began to walk and Mariana followed behind him, beckoning Edward along as well.
