She dresses in Black adventuring clothing a cloak that seems to blend into any area she is in. carrying an assortment of swords daggers and other stuff she may need. Hearthside is under attack by a large group of Storm Raiders, and are requesting help to fend off the attack," reported Nordic but he had a concerned look on his face. That was something unusual for him. Sarne looked him in the eyes "What is it Nordic?" asked Sarne knowing his second in command. Nordic paused He looks at up at Sarne "I have Dwarven brothers there, Captain. I have not heard from them," said Nordic with worry there. Sarne thought for a moment then turned to Sylvari. "I hate to ask this without warning. But I can use your help Sylvari?" asked Sarne humbly.

Sylvari gave respectful inclinations of her head to acknowledge each of Sarne's subordinates as she listened carefully to take stock of the situation as it was reported. Despite the gravity of the circumstances, the vampiress had to fight a gleeful smile from dominating her face at the prospect of fighting side-by-side against evil with her friend again. Still, despite temptations, the justiciar retained proper decorum, particularly as the dwarf Nordic expressed his worry for his brothers.
As Sarne looked to her in request for her help, Sylvari gave a sharp nod in answer before speaking. "It's as we surmised, darling, if striking a bit sooner than expected. Of course my hammer is available to a righteous cause. Good Sir Nordic, and lady," Sylvari continued giving a small smile to Naesala, "Have no fear for your comrades. I am the retributive fist of justice on the mortal plane, and I will see to it that evil shall not prevail this day. With Lord Sarne's assistance, we shall quell this raid, and send its perpetrators down the path of redemption or else back to whatever pit spawned this darkness in their hearts."
Sylvari quickly waved her hands over a seemingly innocuous little mound a short distance away, whispering a phrase that carried on the wind unnaturally with a fell chill. "Come forth, little one. Rise Noe, for we have hunting to do." The earth tremored slightly as bony claws ripped out of it moments later, revealing a skeletal dragonling that clacked its jaws excitedly and flaring its wings, leaping up to perch on his mistress' pauldron [Necromancer, Undead Servant].
Returning to Sarne's side, she gave him a quick nod, signaling her readiness. "Let's be off."

Stepping back in surprise, Sarne grinned. "I See you have benefits with your abilities," remarked Sarne as his subordinates looked in astonishment at what Sylvari did. "I am afraid I can not show off like that. But Screech is always a whistle away," said Sarne. He turned to Nordic. "Make the best speed Nordic see you there," Sarne instructed his subordinates.
Sarne watched as his subordinates vanished into the darkness. Sarne whistles loudly a few times they are answered by a few echoing Screems. As the Large Terror Wing flew overhead making a pass. People watched Sarne and Sylvari in awe of everything that was going on. The crowd grew as Screech leaned barely fitting in the street.
Sarne climbed onto the Terror Wing Screech with its 40 feet wing span, being 15 feet long and 10 feet in height walking. The Terror Wing was a force to be reckoned with in the sky. It flapped its large wings blowing stuff around as it took off. Sarne and Sylvari took off together heading to Hearthside.
Hours later they Land just outside of Hearthside village. the quant little village had seen better days the signs of battle were evident. two huts were still smoldering and the sun was going down it would be night soon thought Sarne looking over to Sylvari "I hope we are not too late" remarked Sarne looking worried something he normally did not show.

As his mistress leapt atop the massive bird behind Sarne, Noe dug his tiny claws under the folds of Sylvari's armor to keep his precarious footing. As the eclectic little group took to the skies, the dragonling clacked his jaws in jubilation, loving the feeling of the air whistling passed. Whether it was due to a bodily familiarity with the skies, an ingrained memory from a past life, or else simply an eccentricity drawn from Sylvari's own perceptions of dragonkind that her soul-bonded creature took to heart was a scholar's debate, but the little beast's clacks of exultation could not be denied. He would certainly have been roaring and chirping in delight if he had the vocal chords to do so.
The vampiress, for her part, smiled at her tiny companion's joy, feeling secure enough in her balance and trusting enough in her friend's piloting to lean back and stroke the bony crest of Noe's snout. In relatively short order, the party arrived at the village, thanks to the blazing speed of Screech. The justiciar's face was an impassive mask, betraying no emotion as she surveyed the silent village before them, a few huts smoldering in the distance, but her voice betrayed somberness. "Take heart my friend. We will find the villains who did this and bring them to justice, by chains or blades."
As the pair hurried into town, Sylvari silently [Winter Crown] called a tiny blizzard to choke out the light flames of the smoking huts [Sheer Cold], severing the magic once the fires were out.

Sarne stepped forward with his shield at-the-ready. [1] His sword appeared in his hand ready for battle. [2] Some stuff moved as Dwarfs came out of hiding with an assortment of weapons. They tried to ambush them. Sarne shook his head looking at them. "Nice try you, bald headed, Hammer throwing, Ale Sucking, Dwarf! Sarne shouted in the dwarven tongue. The lead dwarf slid to a stop and growled at Sarne.
"There are only two that can talk to me that way. My brother and My mother, you are neither! YOU COWARDLY, SPIDER-KISSIN', WINE DRINKER!" The Dwarf shouted. The other dwarfs looked to be ready to charge. "Is that right, Blackstone of Hammerfist clan, You must be getting old with that white beard and your eyes bad Master Blackstone," said Sarne pulling back his hood.
The Dwarf's eyes grew wide "Young Lord!" Blackstone shouted. By all the Gods I thought you were back home" said Blackstone looking a bit confused. "Oh who is that fine piece of work behind you?" asked the Blackstone with a wink and a big smile. Blackstone was hoping for Sarne to find a woman maybe he did thought Blackstone. Then he realized the way he talked to the Lady Knight. Blackstone was ready for punishment as he looked embarrassed at his comment.

Sylvari merely giggled at the dwarf's crude comment. She was used to the unrefined tongues of fighting men, having grown up with warrior types. Even the justiciars of her people, lofty missions aside, could speak very brazenly in the heat of battle, so Sylvari was not offended by such speech.
"This 'fine piece of work' is called Sylvari Dawnsage. A pleasure to meet you, Master Blackstone. Lord Sarne and I have come to reinforce your position against the raiders. Do you have any intelligence on their numbers, tactics, weapons, or the like?"
Though she waited for the dwarf's response eagerly, her veiled eyes were scanning the landscape for additional clues. It was clear that while the able men and women of the settlement had orchestrated a fighting retreat for the non-combatants, it was an imperfect solution, as evidenced by the scattered bodies of the dead who the raiders had claimed. Behind the fabric of her veil, Sylvari knit her brows together in pained concern for the populace, each corpse a failure on her heart that she was unable to prevent. Just where are these raiders? I don't like this. Why are they lying in wait when the townsfolk are in such a disadvantaged position?

Sarne was about to lash out at Blackstone when Sylvari giggled. Sarne relaxed some and saw that Blackstone's expression showed his remorse at his words. "That will be Lady Dawnsage or My Lady, Blackstone," said Sarne in a stern tone. "Now, what is happening asked Sarne reinforcing Sylvari's question.
Blackstone gave a nod "Yes, young Lord, My apologies My Lady," replied Blackstone with a bow.
"They come either at night or early morning just before the sun sets or rises. Their clan name is Storm Raiders, we asked for help fend off the attacks. A group of 40 to 50 raiders all on horseback and heavily armed. They have been raiding across the open fields and are now raiding the village. Their goal is to completely raze the Village to the ground so they can claim the land. We have taken up arms and are doing our best to protect the village, but we need help." explained Blackstone as the other Dwarfs gathered around Sarne and Sylvari.
Black tone let that information sit for a moment then continued. "There are two used to be 3 that help lead the reading parties. I kill one of them. The five men are well-trained and hardy men with good weapons and little armor padded at most. One has an eye patch. The other is a green Mohawk. The other three are bodyguards I think." described Blackstone noe looking out of the village.

Sylvari waved off the dwarf's apology with a wave of her armored hand. Pleasantries had no concern for the justiciar when lives and livelihoods were being threatened. She listened intently as Blackstone spoke of the raid leaders, making mental notes of their distinguishing features.
"Seems fairly cut and dry then. Cut off the head of the serpent and the enthralled rats will scatter. Sarne and I will deal with the elites. I trust the lackeys into your capable hands, Master Blackstone." Though she didn't ask Sarne's opinion on the battle tactics, she knew him well enough to know that he would agree. Neither of them were novices when it came to dealing with cells of criminals.
Sylvari leaned closer to her friend to whisper low enough that only he heard her next words. "With your wall and mine, we can trap the captains in an alley and deal with them there, without fear of endangering the town's militia. We just need a plan to lure them to an opportune spot. I wouldn't volunteer unknowns for such a vital and dangerous task, but you know these men better than I."

Looking in thought Sarne snaped out when Sylvari whispered Sarne got a crafty smile "Do we?" said Sarne more like a statement than a question. Sarne chuckled "My beautiful knight," Sarne replied to Sylvari. "I don't know if we have to use them at all. I am sure I can make myself the target just fine. I can play the rabbit role just fine." suggested Sarne with a crafty look in his eyes and almost sounding sarcastic. " I do like your plan, we can lead them..." Sarne looks at two large huts "Over there," motions Sarne. Looking the area over. "Also I will set a few traps. This will be a big party." suggested Sarne looking at Sylvari. Stepping up to Sylvari and Sarne, Blackstone says "No!" looking a little disgruntled. Sarne looks down at the Dwarf upset. "No? did you just say NO to me!" asked Sarne. Blackstone smiled "Yes" he answered smugly. Sarne was about to explode when Blackstone looked up at Sarne "My Lord, No you can't play the Rabbit." Blackstone said. "My Lady is right you too will be waiting she has a great plan and I will see it through." declared Blackstone still with his smug smile. Sarne let out a breath turning to Sylvari "You are a bad influence on the Dwarfs" said Sarne jokingly talking in a tone like a parent referring to their kids. "OK, pick your fastest runner then. He will be with us," said Sarne raising his hands in defeat. Blackstone lifted an eyebrow "He?" he let out a bellowing laugh. "No my Lord, She," he replied. He gave a loud whistle and a Dwarven female with a crossbow stepped out. She was slimmer than most dwarfs. "Ruby, you are with Lord Sarne and the Lady Knight," Blackstone ordered.
