Rime Mantle (Clothing) - 1 Point inventory space - The Rime Mantle is a relic of ages past used by the first people of the Pale City long before the Dark elves called it home. These stark white and almost translucent cloaks conceal the wearer perfectly in any snowy environment and can be hardened at will with a small input of the wearers mana. Doing so turns the Rime Mantle's fabric into a steel-like density to block physical attacks with.
The cloak can only be activated twice per topic and lasts for two post.
Spells: (9/15)
Frozen Feet (You fill your feet with ice magic, coating the bottom of your feet with ice. This allows you to skate across the ground or the surface of objects. Now with a slippery set of shoes, you can move twice as fast as your normal speed, darting across the surface of the earth.)
Ice Bridge (A long thick expanse of ice forms from the bottom of your feet and stretches out over a certain area. This ice will bridge any gaps or holes, creating a walkable surface where there use to be none. This bridge will remain until shattered or melted by high amounts of fire and heat.)
Sheer Cold (A chill fills the air as you make it begin to snow. The area drops several degrees in temperature as it begins to get incredibly cold. Anyone in the area will begin to be effected by the cold, finding it hard to move, hold on to their weapons or even just function. Their movement become incredibly slow and their skin fragile. During this time any damage they take from blades or blunt weapons will be increased in addition to it being hard to hold onto their own weapons.)
Ebon Eyes (Your eyes gloss over with pure darkness, becoming pitch black. For a brief duration you gain the ability to see in the darkness no matter how dark it is. This spell also allows you to see normally in magical darkness, giving you sight regardless of the source of the darkness.)
Death Wall (You cause a wall made of bones and shadows to rise up out of the ground. This wall will act as a defense against raged attacks or force enemies around it, manipulating the battlefield. If someone touches or tries to scale this wall they will find some of the skeleton arms claw out and swipe at them, dealing damage. -Deals dark damage-)
Chaos Bolt (This spell allows you to fire a bright purple bolt of energy from your finger. This bolt will crackle like lightning, twisting and arching through the air. This bolt of energy can be fired up to long distances and deals a moderate amount of damage. -Deals dark damage-)
Summon Undead Hulk (A massive undead creature made of bones and corpses will rise from the ground. This creature will loom over everyone, being extremely tall and large. This creature will remain for three post and will attempt to defend you or attack your enemies. This creature will be summoned with a massive weapon, be it a blade or axe, and can cast the raise undead spell once. -Deals dark damage--Can only have one out at a time-)
Death Wave (You shoot a wave of dark energy out from your body in all directions. These wave only goes up to a medium distance, but pushes out from your body in all directions. The wave of darkness deals damage as well as pushes each person struck backwards to the edge of the range. It will knock each living creature to the edge scorching them with the dark energy. -Deals dark damage-)
Black Shield (You or an ally instantly become surrounded in darkness, your entire outline glowing a deep purple. This energy will remain on you for the next two post and will protect you from any other magical effect, positive or negative. For the duration of the spell, you will ignore damage and effects that come from spells cast. This spell has a three post cooldown and can not be used again until the cooldown is over.)
Special
Scorpion Swarm (A spell often used by desert druids or shaman's, used to summon forth a small batch of dangerous, toxic scorpions. After casting the spell, four normal sized scorpions will burst from the earth and swarm the ankles of an enemy, pinching and stabbing at the target. They will pursue the enemy for two post and can only be used once per topic. If stung, a target will find their senses affected, vision becoming blurry and hearing becoming muffled for their next post. Each scorpion can sting once, allowing for a 4 turn duration max.)
Tattoos:
Eldritch Claws (These fist weapons are arcane tattoos that rest upon the hands and feet of their bearer, and ignite when needed into a construct of arcane energy that engulfs the users fists and feet giving them claws that are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming damage resistance like effects. The bearers unarmed attacks with their feet and hands now cause slashing damage and dark damage.)
Bull's Strength (This tattoo increases your normal strength, making you twice as strong as you normally would. This is a latent tattoo that is always in effect, making you permanently strong. This tattoo does not stack with itself or other strength buffing items. -Can only get this tattoo once-)
Miscellaneous:
Fang Graft
Candied Scorpion
Winter's Crown - A silver circlet with faint designs of ice and snow. It can be worn on your head or around a limb such as your arm or leg. While wearing this circlet you can cast any ice spell without needing any free hands, allowing this to act as a spell focus for ice spells.
Frozen Glimmertongue - A Glimmertongue corpse that has been encased in a tomb of eternal ice upon its death. The block of ice is small enough to be held in both hands, and its still-luminescent bulb provides a light that cannot be doused by water or magical effects. A ravenous hunger seems to radiate from the creature's corpse. While holding this item, you can tap into the corpse's hypnotic properties, allowing those within the creature's light to turn their attention on you, almost as if in a trance. While they stare at you, they will regard you as a friend so long as you are not attacking them or commanding them to cause themselves bodily harm. This effect lasts for one post and has a two-post cooldown, with no limit to how many times the hypnotic trance can be used in a thread. Take caution when using this effect, however, as the more you use it, the hungrier you become, with a craving you cannot place...
Defensive Material x 1
Light Catalyst x 1
Phoenix Ash x 1
Mounts:
Frigid Steed (Mercy) - This equine is a beautiful, white beast with traces of blue and silver in their thick, shaggy coat. They thrive in cold climates and can often be found in the northern tundra or above the snow line on mountains. They possess a powerful breath weapon: a billowing cloud of freezing mist so frigid that it can even quench flames. They can also freeze the ground beneath their hooves, allowing them to cross small bodies of water by creating an icy bridge on the surface. They are Large, Naturally Talented mounts.
Home:
Crescent Isles Manor (This stately edifice looks more like a cathedral than a home. It's halls are dedicated with shrines to the gods and monuments to Charon's great heroes. Here and there, plastered on the walls, engraved into the stone floor, and on the lips of the lady of the manor are laudings of justice, a call for the world to be greater than it currently is and the support to get better. Despite the lofty ideals that shape the building's purpose, it is nonetheless homey and welcoming, with the warmth of the roaring hearth matched only by the radiance of the lady's smile.)
-War Room Upgrade
-Dojo Upgrade
Curses:
Vampire
-Chaos Touched (Your lifeforce has been touched by the untamed magic of the primordial planes and twisted you into an ageless being. If your vampiric origins are chaos-touched in nature, you are a day walker— you are able to withstand the light of day without ill effect, but feel unnaturally restless and hungry during the night. You crave raw magic and can feel the arcane pulsing within the very souls of those around you through Arcane Senses; you are able to passively detect the domain of trained or innately powerful spellcasters as long as they are 20 feet away from you. Through your Arcane Senses, you can determine the element of a spell before it is cast through your sense of smell.)
-Minor & Major Vampiric Healing (The tampering of magic with your lifeforce has left you craving something which your body no longer produces naturally. No matter what this may be, your hunger is rarely satiated and you feel the effects to your very core. You are no longer able to be healed with healing spells from any domain and must satiate hunger in order to heal wounds or regain energy. You may heal in these categories, at the expense of an NPC or PC: You are able to heal surface level wounds, light burns, and regain energy through a minor feeding of arcane or lifeforce energy. This process leaves the donor feeling tired and lightheaded due to arcana or blood loss; they may have trouble remaining steady, or casting spells. This may be used on animal or humanoid NPC's or PC's. OR You are able to heal deep wounds, severe burns, and even regenerate amputated limbs through a major feeding of arcane or lifeforce energy. This process leaves the donor feeling exhausted; they will be on the verge of passing out due to loss of arcane or blood loss. They will be unable to fight or cast spells, and may be at risk of death if left untreated. This may only be used on humanoid NPC's or PC's.)
-Powerful Presence (Once per topic, you may make eye contact with a target and cause them to become hypnotized by your mere presence. If you, or your target, are unable to see, this may be used similar to a touch spell. A hypnotized individual will follow your commands without question, believe everything you say, and see you or themselves as whatever you ask them to. A hypnotized individual can be induced to fear you or be charmed by you; they can be asked to do certain tasks; or coerced to believe something is real that is not with ease. If you physically harm this individual, this effect will drop. Powerful Presence will last for three posts before the target returns to normal.)
-Demon of the Mist (Once per topic, you are able to turn your entire body into mist and become incorporeal for a few moments. For one post you may move through objects and obstacles, and traverse while in this form— but you are unable to interact with your surroundings, cannot cast spells, or attack. You cannot reform inside of a person or object.)
-Last Resort (When you reach a state where you should die or become unconscious, you instead retreat to your soul form in your exhaustion. This form is distorted but humanoid in appearance and embodies the essence of how your vampirism has bound to your soul. You become feral for three posts, seeking the nearest source of energy to heal yourself, whether it be friend or foe, without bias. You have three hit preventions in this form, are twice as strong, twice as fast, and twice as resistant in your curse's desperation to fuel itself. If you do not feed while in this form, or lose all your hit preventions, you will fall unconscious; you do not retain memories while in this form.)
