“This is unprecedented, and that little Fae certainly isn’t helping.” Cervayhn remarks to himself as he peeks through the window of their inn bedroom.
It was supposed to just be a vacation, just a relaxing trip to celebrate Ulmiyda’s hard work this year. It was time for another Hearth Day celebration, albeit this time in a small village in the Luna Valley rather than the capital, a choice made to both avoid the watchful eyes of the army, as well as to prevent the young girl from complaining about the royal family the entire trip. Things were going well until an unplanned guest decided to crash the party. A fae, standing only a couple of feet tall, flew in and decided to start wreaking havoc and spouting all sorts of nonsense. The creature started firing bolts of magic all over the place, turning stones into flowers, making the river flow backwards, and even sporting massive mushrooms out thin air. Cervayhn wasted no time snatching his young master as the chaos began and now they found themselves bunkered in as a siege of insanity occurred outside.
While her retainer was fulfilling his role as the overprotective babysitter, Ulmiyda sat on one of the inn beds, pestering her Earth Pixie Isha, hoping to get some idea as to what was going on.
“Isha! One more time, what does that thing want with us?”
The gem covered creature looks at the girl with a puzzled expression as it lays lazily in her satchel, wondering what the girl didn’t understand in their previous answer. “I already told you, I waz azleep until to zhook me awake. I don’t know what it wantz and I can’t get anzwerz in here.”
Frustrated by the pixie's response, Ulimyda turns and yells across the room. “Cervayhn! We’re going outside.”
“Absolutely not. Not until I have more info.” Her retainer replies with a stubborn conviction.
“But Isha might be the only one who could communicate with it and I don’t feel like being coped up here for weeks as you peek out that window.” She retorts with an equally strong conviction built entirely upon annoyance.
The girl’s call out hit true and the older dark elf sighs as he rises to feet. “Fine, but we stick to the shadows. Isha should be the only one exposing themselves since there is a chance that fae won’t attack one of its own.”
With her retainer’s cautious approval, Ulmiyda hops to her feet and grabs her satchel, not bothering to ask Isha their opinion of Cervayhn’s proposal, before dashing out of the room and swiftly exiting the inn entirely.
Bringing:
Cervayhn - (Warlord NPC)
Isha - (Earth Pixie) - Doesn't count towards minion cap
