Hearing the crow yelp out, Elvira grit her teeth down and unleashed her dark claws(death swipe), slashing them at the bolt stuck between her lowest two ribs on the left. She lets out a yelp as the bolt breaks, naturally moving a bit inside of her. She moves back to her original branch, whimpering softly with the pain of the bolt tip stuck in her chest, and nocks another arrow, freezing at the sight of the transformed crow. Instead of feeling the original fear she had upon spotting the transformation in Darkveil, she allows a smirk. "That's my momma crow," she thinks to herself.
Pulling on the nocked arrow, she aims at a goblin charging behind Grid. A deep breath in, a soft exhale, and the arrow flies, streaking across and jamming into the lower end of the goblin's thoracic spin, almost perfectly in the center of the back. The goblin drops with a yelp, not killed immediately, yet not given mercy as they were now unable to move due to a shattered spinal cord.
From her position, Elvira takes a moment to assess her allies. She focuses initially on the wing of the mother crow, then to Grid who, quite frankly, horrified her with the rage. She would remind herself later to make sure their hands are okay.
What she didn't notice was the goblin climbing her tree with a dagger in its mouth. As she nocks another arrow, and draws, she feels the sharp pain of a knife driven into her back. A cry of pain escapes her throat as the arrow releases, flying a stray path into a tree near Rena. The goblin delivers a kick to her back and sends her out of the tree. She has the sense to land on her feet and fall, but the drop still causes some decent pain. What she didn't expect, however, was the rage that would ensue. From her back, she nocks another arrow and fires it into the throat of the offending goblin. Before it could fall to its death, the had nocked and fired a second arrow into its chest, and a third into the chest once more.
From the bush she had landed in, she calls out and nocks another arrow, scanning the field for another target. "I've been struck, let's finish this!"
