The metal bars were begging to melt against his intense flame ring. Raoul could tell he felt the barrier before him weaken as he pushed his body forth. He just needed a little more, his flames just to be a little stronger and he was going to be right there. But no matter how hard the detective tried, he was too late as the bars in front of him melted and he walked through them. There was no trace of the criminal and prisoner. He walked forward to a giant hole in the middle of the wall he carefully peered out of it wildly searching around.
“She can't have gotten far”, he thinks but quickly his confusion is cleared up as he hears the bandit's voice in the distance.
He cupped his hands together and called out to her, “Come back here you criminal, I swear I’ll bring you to justice myself that you have my word. Just because you didn’t beat those poor fellows doesn’t mean you're completely clear on your rap sheet”.
He huffed and sighed, only managing to mutter, “Dammit, I'm not getting paid for this job. Well that was a night well wasted I suppose”.
He then walks away about to leave the situation before stopping in his tracks, “No, I’m not going to let her get off that easy, I’m going to keep my promise”, he then proceeds to sneakily pick up some items that the thief had left, one of her scarves she dropped, the smoke bomb’s ash, eyewitness accounts from the guards she managed to get through.
He walks out of the mansion looking at his notebook and taking Tatalia’s scarf with him as he mutters, “Hmm, just what type of hooligan have I faced tonight?”, ignoring the outcries of Mister Bunley as he proceeds to explode on his staff.
