Appearance: Raoul is an Aasmir Dhampir he is five foot ten and has an athletic lean build. He has short white hair, and light blue eyes with large bags under them. He is often seen wearing a pair of bifocals although he doesn't need them. He wears a black tie and red dress shirt under a black sleeveless overshirt that he keeps buttoned. He wears black dress pants and brown shoes. He has a brown belt that carries three sheathes in it. He wears a long brown trench coat and often wears a black fedora hat.
Personality: Raoul is a very playful man who likes to enjoy the little things in life such as a nice drink on a relaxing afternoon reading a book. He likes to tease and mess around with new people he meets equally as much as his friends. Although he is usually a nice cheerful guy he does have a serious side to him that comes out especially when he is working on cases. He is an intelligent detective who has solved many cases due to his ingenious methods and determined approach to his work. He seeks to finish a case by any means necessary and often takes on cases for free; the only thing that Raoul wants in life is to discover the truth. He likes truthful people and hates when people lie to him.
History: Raoul was born to an astral blood mother named Zindrina Orel (nee Ardelean) and a vampire lord father Layfette Orel in their family mansion. Raoul had a decent childhood raised by mostly his sick mother while his father left a lot for periods of time. It all changed when one day a huge mob appeared and stormed the mansion's walls. This occurred while Raoul’s father was out and was responsible for the killings of several people around the area. Raoul managed to save his sick mother and ran into the woods where he tried to hold on to his mother but it was too late; she was already too sickly to go on. She said her final words which were that she loved him and to forgive his father for all that he does. He is a good person who just makes mistakes. He buried his mother and stayed at the destroyed mansion until his father arrived. Once his father arrived Raoul exploded at him and attacked him and told him everything that happened. His father was completely broken and left in shock he tried to assure his son everything was going to be alright but Raoul had enough and he ran away from home and kept running until he made it to Moonveil village. He disowned his father and took on his mother's maiden name. He stayed there for a couple of months fending for himself on the streets that was until the Black Dragon Pirates docked to restock their shop for a month. The aasimar dhampir hearing this spied on the pirates while they were drinking in a tavern he then tried to steal some of their treasure before being caught by the newest member of the crew Javal Zarrias. After getting caught and held by the pirates he was let go and told to join them in their pirate life after Javal and the Captain of the crew Wilford Wyther talked it over. Raoul, having nowhere else to go, decided to join and soon over the years rose to the rank of Dragon Prince on the ship known for his intelligence and skill. After the crew sailed the seas for a couple of years the captain kicked out the dragon princes and left to battle against an unknown foe. They were never seen again after getting over that Raoul decided to live his own life and become a traveling detective adventuring around Charon and solving cases wherever he went.
