Calliope smiled happily as she skipped through her home town. It was a small and quiet town, houses made of weaved plants and branches. It was a town of druids after all and they enjoyed the peace and solitude. Calliope however longed to be a hero and go on adventures. she was thankful for the few adventures she ha already gotten to do to help people and it was hard to wait for more to do. She was thankful for the village raising her but she wanted to see more of charon. She knew of its dangers though after the earthquakes when they visited the city. She almost lost the druid who went with her after all. She shook a little an took a breath thankful when she noticed one of the Druids seeming frustrated.
With that she walked over and signed asking what was wrong. Luckily the whole town had learned sign language to talk with her. She listened as they spoke about woofuls having gone missing from the area. They usually stopped by the woods edge in the morning on the way to hunt and such.It was surprising they were missing. She then signed to ask if anyone was looking for them and offere only to frown when she was told she couldnt go alone

Hadassah took a deep breath, taking in the fresh air and natural beauty of town. She had decided that morning that she would take a little adventure, get the lay of the land and help where she could if needed. She'd only recently arrived after leaving her community to make something of herself and make her mother proud. One step at a time though, she would first explore and get somewhat used to everything, learning where she could. Training was important as well, and she had been training of course, but she figured a little break and a calm stroll wouldn't hurt.
Hadassah looked around at the peaceful houses made masterfully of beautiful plants. A druid town, no doubt. She wished she could have seen how the houses were built, maybe even learn some druid magic, if she could be taught. She had so much to learn and was so curious about everything, it was hard for her to stay on track at times. As she walked, she noticed a rather frustrated looking druid speaking with a young tiefling girl. She didn't want to be nosey, but she figured she might be able to help if there was an issue.
"Pardon me," Hadassah said softly with a little wave at the druid and the tiefling, not wanting to be rude. "I was just passing by, I hope you don't mind the intrusion. Is there anything I can help with?"

Calliope looked over seeing the shadow of the woman, the 8 year old looked at her in awe and fumbled for her notebook and a pen before writing "are you an adventurer miss?" she asked with a hopeful and excited look in her eyes. She was always star struck meeting heroes and adventurers. She wanted to be a knight herself one day after all. Once getting an answer she smiled and quickly turned the notebook scribbling quickly but carefully, her tongue poking out the side of her mouth as she focused on keeping it legible. Once one she then flipped it around showing it to read "I am trying to become an adventurer and knight in the future! Eron's wooful's have gone missing from their pen! I volunteered to find it but he won't let me go alone! Maybe you could help and we can go together!" she had written. Her tail waved to and fro behind her rather quickly. She wasn't good at hiding her emotions yet as her tail and ears said it all. She was excited and hoping the other would agree, her ears perking hopefully as her tail continued it's movements. She even tried to give puppy dog eyes

Hadassah tilted her head curiously as she watched the young tiefling girl scribble excitedly on a pad of paper. Once she flipped the pad around, she quickly understood the purpose of the notebook. Mute, or deaf more likely. If only I knew how to sign. Hadassah smiled softly and nodded her head toward the girl. “You could say that,” she said, though she was truly unsure of her own status, considering her lack of adventure and travel at the moment, not that she needed to share that information with the young girl. She waited patiently once more as the girl began to scribble intensely on the notebook again. She chuckled, watching as the child’s tongue poked out from her mouth while she wrote, completely focused on getting words down on the sheet of paper. Quite focused and determined, this one.
Hadassah’s kind smile grew once the girl flipped the notebook around for her to read the second time. As she processed the girl’s request for help, she gave a second nod in agreement. “It would be my pleasure to help,” she said softly, laughing lightly as the girl’s tail began to wag. “My name is Hadassah, or Addie, if that is easier. Very nice to meet you.”

Calliope smiled more if possible and did a few jumps of joy before looking to the druid Hopefully and happily. Eron sighed and gave in with a nod patting her head "Very well. If you can keep an eye on her please and don't mind her coming along" he replied looking at the woman "Welcome to the village as well sorry to trouble you miss" he remarked
Calliope however was doing a little happy dance before writing a very happy thank you to the girl excited to get to do a second adventure finally. she was on her way to becoming a better hero and knight. She smiled and looked at the two as they spoke reading their lips as best as she could rather excited to start the mission. She wondered where they could have gone and decided to check and plan once the conversation was over so she could show her big thank you to addie. For now she hugged the notebook close to her chest. She bounced from heel to toe as she waited patiently and happily for the moment to see what would happen when they would finish. Once they were done she showed her little thank you sign

Hadassah gave a bow of her head toward the druid. “I will take care of her, don’t worry. It’s really no trouble at all.” Hadassah laughed joyfully at Calliope’s little dance. She remembered being young and joyful; excited to go out and experience the world and be part of it. She still had some of that joy and excitement, but less so now that she had grown up and now understood the hardships and danger that would unfortunately be part of the journey. She would do everything she could to protect Calliope while she was still a child, full of innocence and hope. At least, she would for the time she was in her care.
Hadassah stooped down so she could be at eye-level with Calliope, reading her sweet “thank you” note. “You are most welcome,” she started, placing her hand over her heart in sincerity. “How about we go find some woolfuls now? Any ideas on where we should start?” She certainly hoped the girl had some idea, as she knew very little about these creatures or how to handle them. If not, she supposed she might ask around or try to find tracks of some kind, but other than that, this would be all guess work for her otherwise.

Calliope smiled happily glad the other liked her thank you note and looked at what she was saying before nodding and writing. "If we look at the way the prints go it should help. They have never gone far before. I think they would be in an open area to graze and rest. There is a lake nearby they could be at" she wrote and showed it to the woman in front of her. Se wasn't fully sure but it had water and grazing areas so she figure it may be a good first place to check. She then held out a hand to the other so she could lead her to the lake. She then began to walk rather excited to help find the wooful. It was gonna be great to find them and help her village. Maybe it would show them that she was ready to go to the capitol to train and become a knight like she always wanted. She looked around as they walked and occasionally glanced back to see how the other was doing. In a few minutes they had finally reached the lake. She looked around for any signs of the creatures they were looking for

Hadassah nodded after reading the little girl’s note. It seemed simple enough, look for prints in open areas. She was glad Calliope knew the area and knew more about woolful creatures than she did, though it made logical sense that they would go somewhere to graze. “That sounds like a good place to start then. Lead the way!” Hadassah gently took the girl’s hand, allowing her to lead her toward the lake she’d mentioned. Hadassah laughed, watching Calliope’s innocent excitement as they went. As they walked, Hadassah gently tapped her thumb against the girl’s hand to get her attention. “Can you tell me a little more about these creatures? I’ve never heard of them until now.”
Once the two arrived at the lake, Hadassah looked around at the grass, and near the water, searching for anything that would indicate woolfuls nearby. After a minute of searching, she caught a glimpse of small imprints where the grass had been walked on, though it was difficult to tell what made the imprint. She also came across some prints in the sand on the edge of the lake. She waved her hand at Calliope to get her attention once more and pointed at the prints in the sand. “Do woolful prints look like this?”

Calliope smiled as they walked and looked over when her hand was tapped. She looked up and read the lips of the other before letting the others hand go for a moment to pull out her notebook. She then wrote down the following; "They are big like wolves with faces like them but they have really fluffy thick wool like sheep and the wool is all sorts of pretty colors!" underneath the words was a little drawing of a wooful. It wasn't great but hopefully it would be enough to get across the main idea of it and what it looked like
She then continued to walk with the other happily and looked around. She searched until she saw the other waving her over. She wandered over and looked at the others face to see their question before then looking to the ground and the prints. After a few moments she nodded happily and began trying to follow the footprints. Surely they had to lead somewhere and where their were prints, there were fluffy woofuls! She focused on the prints hardly looking up as she didnt want to lose the imprints in the ground as they got a bit harder to see
