Javal was sitting in a tavern at the counter waiting for his dear friend Ak’ka the Bonegrinder after their last adventurer tried to escape their magically induced small stature the two parted ways with others promising to meet up some other time to catch up and hang out. The fellblood ordered a large cup of Sake and a small plate of potatoes and eggs, waiting for a little bit before hearing the door of the tavern open and his friend appear. He greeted her with an excited wave and a large smile motioning her to sit at the counter with him.
After she sat down he smiled bowing at her before saying, “Hello there friend Ak’ka how’re you doing? Have you seen any sightings of that tricky fairy or any mad wizards we need to hunt down?”.
He then got close and whispered, “How are the kitties in the Pale City, my friend?”.
After some more chit-chat, Javal began telling his orc friend what important life events he had gone through, “So me and most of Charon’s adventurers all had to band together to fight the god of death and rebirth because he was going to reset the world order once more. Before that, I and two other adventurers Gwendolyn and Vail had to fight this strange cultist fellow who I believe was awakening the god. We managed to defeat him and save people but failed to stop Vulcadreus from rising. I’ve even awakened another level of power. I'm dying to show you, my friend”.
As the two chit-chatted a drunken elf bard slumped a couple of chairs down from them with a hammered appearance and a mischievous smile on his face as he looked around for his nearest targets of amusement, before glancing at Javal and Ak’ka and whispering, “Perfect”.

Ak’ka’d frequented the Winter’s Howl in the past, but the Winter’s Howl sure didn’t like Ak’ka. A rowdy drinker whose size stole the attention of others like a master thief - she was as good for business as she was bad. Hell, most taverns feared the day she might darken her doorstep, but they were usually too afraid to turn her away. Not when she came with ample coin and ample muscle and a grimace painted on her face.
That look was nowhere to be seen today, though. Nah, Ak’ka had a look that could almost be described as troubled paintin’ her expression when she barged in through the tavern’s double doors. A piece of parchment was clutched in her hand - not a bounty like it normally was.
An invitation.
Ah, hell. Ak’ka’d been alone almost her entire life, since her da’s passing. Even in the days she was clan leader, Ak’ka had no one to depend on but herself. She’d always been so used ta bearin’ all her troubles on her own… so the invitation from a warrior she met on the road, it came as a shock. The Fighter’s Guild wanted her, and for once in her life the merc wasn’t so sure of her foundations. The Lone Mountain of Mortak’s first instinct was to rebuff the guy, which she’d done. But the fighter begged her to reconsider; spoke of kinship and unity and a place where she could hone her battlesong and grow stronger. He’d given her a paper. Told her she just needed to prove her mettle.
It was a stupid invite. Ak’ka didn’t need to be part of the guild to get stronger. And yet… it wouldn’t hurt ta meet others like her, she thought. Maybe she’d even get some answers on her Final Bounty. The Juggernaut didn’t let dumb thoughts and doubts weigh her down, but today, she felt almost somber as she made her way to meet her friend and fellow fighter. Javal. Slugger. When she caught sight of him, already havin’ grabbed a table for them, she felt her frown growin’ into a smile, already growing more at ease. She raised a single hand in a wave, shovin’ the paper in her pocket and slamming herself down across from him.
“Hey, Slugger. Long time no see.” She laughed at his formal manners and all that bowing and shit. Really, it hadn’t been that long since they saw each other at Sol City at all, and accidentally got taken advantage of by a pesky fairy bitch - who was still honestly on Ak’ka’s shit list. Wood creaked where she leaned back in her seat, wavin’ down a waitress and ordering ale and some soup. The fur-clad lady returned a couple minutes later with a large, wooden flagon and a ceramic bowl of fish stew. Ak’ka took a long swig of the drink, feeling the burn in her throat. Yeah. That was the stuff. “Kitties are good. Flatface, Fucker, Old Rat and Kibbles usually linger in the dump out back if you wanna go visit them after dinner.”
She rolled her shoulder while they caught up, the scar from that nasty bear bite on her shoulder stretching and aching. The beast pulsing under her veins.
“Nah. No wizards, and not any fairies. Plenty of beasts, though.” And an accidental trip to a maximum security prison. She was about to start tellin’ Javal about her encounter at the Citadel when the fellblood broke into a story about Vulcadreus, a fuckancient god of rebirth, and the fact that there was a godkillin’ in the first place she wasn’t privy to, and all of a sudden she felt pretty damn small.
“Holy shit.”
The invite weighed heavy in her pocket all of a sudden.
Ak’ka smacked Javal on the shoulder, enough to knock a lesser man’s face right into his potatoes. “Oi, you just keep gettin’ into the wildest adventures, don’t ya, Slugger? Why didn’t I get an invite for the show, eh? For real though, I’m glad yer trainin’s goin’ well. I’d love to see how much better you’ve gotten since we fought together in the Deadwoods.”
The more they spoke, the more Ak’ka relaxed, just enjoyin’ the company. But unbeknownst to her, a tavern fight was brewin’, and it started with an elven bard and an incurable boredom.
Ak’ka had no idea, but she’d be seein’ Javal’s strength for herself sooner than she’d expected.

Javal smiled as he took a swig of his sake, “That’s great to hear friend Ak’ka I would like to meet Flatface, Fucker, Old Rat, and Kibbles once we have finished catching up and having dinner. You still have to show me around after all, I’ve been here only a couple of times I think the last time I was here in this tavern I had to help this merchant fellow from an army of ice and wind mephits with an adventurer who was quick on their feet had a strong ability to manipulate shadows named Mei. What type of beasts have you faced with friend Ak’ka? Any more undead creations?”, he chuckled slightly at his reference before feeling a large impact on his shoulder and smashing his face into his food.
“Hahahahahahaha”, the fellblood burst out laughing as he lifted his head from his plate wiping off the food from his face and eating it with his hands.
“You’re hilarious friend Ak’ka and yes I do, I try to do the best I can to help people while also trying to fight the strongest things I see. You are more than welcome to come along with any quest I do friend Ak’ka, knowing that having you around is a delight. I’d also like to see how strong you’ve become friends-".
Suddenly an elf fellow with blonde ruffled hair and breath that smells like he’d been drinking for a bit slams his drink before shouting, “Ehh what’s with all this friendly and training talk doin’ ere? I beat a boulder breaker over there and could crush it any day of the week. I mean come on look at ‘em he looks like what that juggernaut would eat for breakfast there’s no way he’d beat her”, he says pointing at Ak’ka before Javal.
Suddenly a new voice sounds off behind him sparking and putting the elf man’s plan into place, “No, no, no the fellblood would win. Just look at them, they've got that sword, that armor, that sigil. I’ve seen that before it’s well-known to be worn by disciples of one of the strongest swordsmen. There’s no way he’d lose to her not one bit”.
Suddenly with those two opinions, the entire tavern grew loud and boisterous as everyone turned to the two and started analyzing just by seeing who'd win, even the barkeep.
Suddenly the drunken elf shouts, “Enough, I have the perfect solution for this debate, why don’t we have orc lady the bone crusher and Impy the imp fight right here right now for us to see how’s stronger”.
Javal nervously but excitedly shrugs before looking up at Ak’ka waiting for her response, in all honesty part of him wanted to fight Ak’ka since he saw how strong she was during the battle against Carmine’s creations.

The more they chit-chatted and caught up, the more Ak’ka was aware of the eyes on the back of her head. She was no stranger to bein’ watched, usually with distrust, malice, envy… fear. She knew when someone had set their sights on her, beggin’ for a scrap, or just wanted to mug her in the back alley when all was said and done. She had no idea what this guy’s angle was, but she wasn’t gonna let that asshole stir up any shit. She leaned back in her seat, casual, all the while watchin’ this guy like a damn hawk from the corner of her eye in case he stirred up any shit.
And her nose for trouble turned out to be keen, cus after a couple minutes, the elven man’s tankard hit the wooden bar with a SLAM as his voice rang like the first bell of a match ‘round the tavern. Ak’ka fell quiet, turning to look at the bastard as he issued a challenge to the tavern. A gamble between fellblood and orc.
Ah, some kinda scalper. So that’s how it was.
She’d seen this type before. The kinda guy who sniffed coin from a mile away and capitalized on it. He was probably hopin’ that the two would whip themselves into a frenzy for the people’s pleasure while they slung around coin and jeers. Ak’ka was no showmonkey, and she wasn’t gonna dance just ‘cus someone asked her to. She didn’t like that the guy was insulting her friend, but that was the business of guys like him.
She flipped the man a gracious middle finger - gracious, ‘cus it wasn’t a fist to the face like he deserved. “Hey, bud, buzz off, yeah? We’re havin’ a private conversation.”
But it was too late. The entire bar was already in on it, all eyes on the two warriors while money and laughter was exchanged. Waiting for someone to throw the first punch, the first move, the first strike. Ak’ka didn’t wanna give into their jeers, but she could already feel the battlesong thrumming under her skin, the thump-thump-thump of her heart in anticipation of a good brawl. She might’a been a pretty nonchalant gal. But she was her father’s daughter through and through, an orc of clan Mortak. And the Bonegrinder.
There was nothin’ she loved more than a good fight.
“Ah, hell. Why not?” Ak’ka said, picking up her wooden tankard from the table, downing the rest of the liquor in two sips. Then she lifted it above her head and thumped it against the back of Javal’s skull.[1]
The brawl broke into raucous applause. First blood had been drawn, and this fight promised to be a show. 1. Brawler - Improvised Weapon

Javal waited for Ak’ka’s response to his question quietly as he raised his hands to his sides in anticipation of the orc’s answer. His excitement was quickly destroyed as was the back of his head as he suddenly felt a sharp pain at the back of his skull.
He stumbles forward trying to recover, holding his head with his hand and moving it to his face to see the damage, his hand covered with some blood.
He quickly holds his blood-stained hand out summoning a small bubble (1. Bouncing Bubble)in his palm and throwing it at Ak’ka’s face dealing some light water damage the bubble bounces from her face to the man’s face who insulted him and back to him popping at the back of his head where Ak’ka brought down her tankard healing of it’s previous injury.
He then stands up straight at full height and faces Ak’ka with a bright smile and his hands at his hips, “Good job friend Ak’ka I was not expecting that, you’re strong but don’t think I’m just gonna’ stand here and take it".
He quickly draws his katana from his waist throwing the sheathe to the floor before charging forth sprinting at Ak’ka at full speed.
He jumped in the air as he reached a couple of feet in front of her to gain a better angle to hit her, he then swung his sword behind him and then slashed it forward using the full range of motion straight at her chest before twisting his body to do the opposite motion on the other side of Ak’ka whispering, “Javal Style: Double Divine Tide”.

Ak’ka winced at the nasty cracking sound that came from her mug meetin’ Javal’s skull. For a second, as he stumbled forward, she worried she’d seriously broken something. But the swordsman was made from stronger stock than that. She’d watched him slay zombies and skeletons and even a fuckin’ Risen dragon. There was no way in hell a little love-tap like that would take him out of the game.
Thankfully, it hadn’t.
Good. Ak’ka was worried she might not get a proper fight here after all.
Water instantly splashed in her face, throwin’ the half-orc off balance; she hadn’t expected Javal to retaliate so quickly. Wasn’t more than a little pop, barely a tickle, but whatever spell he cast seemed to heal him up real good while he stood up straight with a dopey complement and a challenge. Ak’ka brought her knuckles together, punchin’ her fists twice while the tattoos on her shoulders glowed.[1] The pair of second arms sprouted from her torso - double the punching power, double the deadliness.
Javal mighta carried his weapons on his back, but Ak’ka was a beast of a different nature. Her entire body was the weapon.
“You wanna go, little man? Let’s go!”
He charged at her - she raised her arm with her palm held flat, usin’ the momentum of the swing to push it away from her chest.[2] She winced at the burn from holy magic n’ the sting of water, but a little pain never hurt nobody. Better to take a couple licks than get yer head bitten off. She shrugged off the pain, snorting out a puff of cold air - an angry bull, stomping her feet on the ground, gettin’ ready to charge.
The battlesong was thrummin’ in her veins. And around them, the chorus of the audience was gettin’ louder and louder. An excited chant, all of them relieved to finally fuckin’ get a good show around here.
“Fight! Fight! Fight!”
And the Bonegrinder hated bein’ told what to do, or bein’ egged on by strangers, but she was already too far gone to care. Ak’ka flashed Javal a feral grin, every bit the orc warrior. Oh, he’d made a mistake gettin’ so close to her. He might’a been within striking range of her, but it also put her within grappling distance of him. Ak’ka dove, wrappin’ one set of arms around his torso, lockin’ her fingers behind his back in an unbreakable grip.[3] And with a grunt, muscles bulging, she hoisted Javal in the air, twirlin’ him around until his feet were in the air and his head was upside down -
And she dropped to her knees, tryin’ to crack his skull against the tavern’s floor. 1. Extra Arms Tattoo 2. Hands As Weapons - Brawler I 3. Iron Grip - Brawler I

Javal was a little caught off guard as Ak’ka skillfully parried his blow but was still extremely excited for this. For all the battles and adventurers they had gone on together, he was always wishing to fight her. Not as an enemy but as a friend in spar as kindred warriors and he was just given the chance to do it.
He was quickly grappled tightly by Ak’ka he tried to wrestle away from the half-orcs grip but he couldn’t at all it was just so ironclad with zero slip room.
Quickly he was placed at a disadvantage as Ak’ka threw him in the air the fellblood only chuckled in response before his hands glew a bright blue and he touched his wrist causing his entire body to melt before Ak’ka’s fists as she was only seconds away from driving his head into the tavern floor. The puddle that was Javal quickly reformed into a long water serpent (1) that wrapped itself around Ak’ka’s arm and slithered around her body before jumping behind her and reforming.
He smirks, gathering cold energy quickly into his hands before slamming them under her, unleashing a giant block of ice (2) to rise, hoping to smash her into the tavern’s roof.

Damn. Ak’ka forgot that even though Javal was no slouch in a no-holes barred, physical brawl, he was pretty damn talented in magic, too. Tricky with spells and flowed like the waves. His battlesong was fast, irregular - like the pushing and pulling of the tide. Ak’ka grimaced as the little guy dissolved in her hands, coiling up her arms and leapin’ behind her back. Startled gasps rose in the crowd. Money exchangin’ hands. The fellblood knowin’ magic changed the game, in their eyes. Ak’ka wasn’t gonna be intimidated, though. This changed nothin ‘xcept for the fact that she was gonna kick his ass all the same.
Nothin’ personal. It was all in good fun.
“Fight! Fight! Fight!”
“Kick her ass!”
“Show him the strength of Orc resilience!”
Ak’ka whirled around just as the little guy slammed his hands against the ground - usin’ her own moves against her. Ak’ka had to give it to him, it was a pretty good ploy. She didn’t have time to dodge but she did have time to cover her skull with her rock-hard arms, protectin’ her from a concussion. And she flew threw the air as the force of the ice wall propelled her -
And all the way through the wooden ceiling like paper.
Screams as Ak’ka found herself on the second floor. She’d smashed through the downstairs tavern and all the way into the room upstairs. Ak’ka forced splinters out of her palm and arms, pullin’ herself up through the rest of the wreckage. “Sorry. ‘Xcuse me. Sorry.” She nodded to the couple in the nearby bed, who’d probably been enjoyin’ a pleasant nap before she ruined their evening. Whoops.
… Yeah, she was definitely gonna have to pay for some damages after this.
“OH MY GODS A BLOODY DEMON-“
“Quiet down, yeah?”
On her feet, Ak’ka tested the floorboards a little bit away from where Javal had thrown her upwards. This was where he was standin’ down there, she was pretty sure. She hoped so. He wanted to throw her in the air, have a bit of a laugh? Ah, she’d respond in kind. She’d bring the pain.
With a grin, Ak’ka jumped into the air, elbow raised -
And put the brunt of her weight behind her blow, smashin’ through the floor with equal ferocity and a roar, letting gravity and her body weight bring Javal to the fuckin’ floor from above.

Javal placed his hand over his eyes to avoid any of the falling splinters from Ak’ka’s impact hitting the tavern’s roof.
As he heard screams the fellblood felt a little ashamed of his play. He held his hands behind his head as he thought, “Was that a little too far?”, he shook his head, “Ak’ka’s strong enough to take it, I should be more worried about what she’s gonna do next”.
He looked up to the large Ak’ka-shaped hole in the ceiling above, noticing the orc-woman was nowhere to be found. He got worried for a second before spotting a familiar figure directly above him ready to elbow him into the fucking floor.
He grins widely and shouts, “Come on Ak’ka show me what you got”, and braces himself for the impact.
Javal is a very foolish, foolish man so when Akka's destructive force comes falling he intends to take it head on, quite literally. As Ak’ka lands on top of him and elbows him the following impact altogether breaks his helmet the sound of metal being broken is loud.
Javal smiles as Ak’ka is now on top of him, although he was finding it hard to breathe this was good for what he planned next. He taps his cloak summoning large thorns (1) to sprout from his back he then activates a spell (2) causing vines and thorns to grow all over his body. He smirks, curiously waiting to see Ak’ka feel the spiky pain from being on top of him and get off.

Of all Ak’ka expected the slippery little blue bastard to do, takin’ the full force of her weight head-on wasn’t what she expected. Her elbow plowed into his skull with a hollow CLANG like the ringin’ of a bell in a fighting pit, and the two crumpled to the floor. For a minute Ak’ka worried she’d killed the little guy - but nah, Javal was laughin’, and he was fine. It would take more than that to take the fellblood out.
Around them, shocked gasps arose from the audience, all of ‘em stunned as Ak’ka got the upper hand with that nasty blow. And then, they erupted into raucous cheers.
In the corner a bard started strummin’ their lute, the magic of the strings reaching a fervent pitch, egging them on with music and a song that got the blood boiling and the heart pounding. Ak’ka pressed her advantage, rolling around to wrap a thick arm around the swordsman's throat and put him in a sleeper hold.
Stupid mistake on her part.
See, Javal wore armor like most warriors for the Crescent Isles. It was the perfect balance of offense and defense, the shell that protected them in honorable battle. Orc fighting in the north was nasty. They didn’t bother with plates and metal to slow them down when they could rely on the strength of their thick hides. Ak’ka’s constitution was better than most; forged like a hammer from countless battles she’d been in, where she simply couldn’t afford to fall. But that didn’t mean she didn’t feel the sting of pain from her wounds. And as Javal triggered his trap, spikes dug into her front and sides, forcin’ her to release him.
“Fuck!” She winced. Wasn’t losin’ a limb type awful but it still ached like a sonofabitch. She jumped back, putting distance between Javal and herself. The clever bastard had taken advantage of her weakness - thinkin’ that if she couldn’t touch him, she couldn’t do nothin’.
Pretty smart.
Too bad for him Ak’ka’d learned some new tricks in their time apart.
Ak’ka’s lips parted in a roar that rippled through the air, a beam of pure energy and force hitting Javal straight in the chest like an invisible punch.[1] 1. Monk - Art of the Soul

Javal’s eyes widened and spirits rose as he felt the energy from the crowd coming from around the two fighters, now this was a real brawl. His grin grew wider as he felt Ak’ka’s hands over his throat waiting for the moment for his spikes to get her good. He immediately jumped back up onto his feet as he felt the large weight of Ak’ka get off of him as he heard her curse. He was about to make a clever comment but that was quickly dashed as he felt a large impact in his chest hit him pushing him back to the edge of the tavern. It felt like the air pressure itself was crushing his chest even causing his padding to just tear off from his body.
He quickly felt several hands on his back to push him back on his feet and into the battle cheering as they did so. He shakes his body and turns to smile at Ak’ka, "That was good my friend, now it’s my turn".
He raised his hand in the air and motioned for the water around him in cups and containers to move in his favor. He quickly shaped the water (1) into a fist and motioned it right toward Ak’ka’s face. As that made its impact he rushed forward right at her but at the last second, he slid on his knees and swung his katana (2) right at Ak’ka’s left side before turning his wrist twisting his slash to slice her once more as he skidded right past her, stopped behind her, and got up looking back at his work.

The air rippled as Ak’ka’s roar hit the fellblood square in the chest. Another round of screams in the air; but Ak’ka didn’t spare a moment for false triumphs. The kid was damn slippery and he always had unseen tricks up his sleeve. Ak’ka just hit problems until they stopped being a problem, but for all Javal’s strength he was an adaptable bastard. He was flung back by the blow, chest plating broken apart.
But he was up in a minute, flinging water back at Ak’ka’s face, like the push and pull of the tide viciously tearin’ apart the beach. The force of the wet punch clocked her right in the jaw, not strong enough to send her sprawlin’ to the ground but enough to make her step back while Javal ran at her with his katana.
She raised her fists -
But at the last minute he hit the ground, going low and aiming up. Shit. Her lower half weren’t as protected as her top half. Wicked blade carved a nasty gash in her leg, not as deep as she’d ever felt, but it would limit her mobility if she didn’t take care of it soon.
Eh. She’d walked on worse.
Javal didn’t immediately press the advantage - mistake on his part. Gave Ak’ka the opportunity to back up, stumbling into a nearby table and bringing it down with her weight, wood splintering underneath her and scarin’ the guy who’d been enjoying his ale and watchin’ the battle.
“Hey!”
“If ya didn’t want to get caught in the battle, you shouldn’t’a been in the splash zone.” Ak’ka grunted, pulling herself into a sitting position. The guy was still screamin’ now that he was in the thick of it. Ugh. Well, watchin’ this guy gave her a bit of an idea. It was dirty, and she was sure Javal wouldn’t like it, but she needed the advantage.
Pickin’ herself up, she lunged to grab the dude by his armpits. “Sorry about this, man. Try not to throw up.”
“Wait, what are you doing?”
Ak’ka ignored him and clamped her arms around his torso, fingers interlocked. Staring right at Javal, she started to spin this poor motherfucker around, tryin’ to knock Javal off his feet with the force of her wheel of death.[1] 1. The Wheel

Javal quickly stood back up from his place on the floor and kept his eyes on Ak’ka a little confused as suddenly the half-orc grabbed a man and started spinning him around like some sort of human wheel.
“What are you doing friend”, the fellblood could only question as he lowered his blade to watch what would happen.
What he did not expect was to have the fellow be used as a human wheel against him as he spun forth his body whirling forth as he barrelled against Javal. He tried his best to block or redirect the blow but alas the man’s momentum was way too strong even for the fellblood’s incredible strength. He felt a large searing pain in his jaw then chest then lower abdomen as the man eventually lost momentum and hit the floor with a large groan. He shook his head dazed from the blow feeling the impact, it felt like getting punched three times simultaneously, he’d have to hand it to the half-orc, she knew how to deal major damage as his hood, pauldrons, and faulds had broken off from the wheel-man assault.
Not wanting to give Ak’ka a chance to use this as a quick follow-up like he did before he sprinted forward gathering water (1. Aqua Bullets) into his abdomen and letting it rise to his throat.
He raised his katana as he neared Ak’ka looking like he was going to slash her just the moment Ak’ka tried to counterattack he jumped back and opened his mouth shooting out a small but compact water projectile at her face before opening his mouth again firing one straight at her lower abdomen, and then another one at her chest.
He then hoped that would've at least left Ak’ka dazed for a second as he gathered water in the air around him (2. Smashing Wave) and sent it flying straight at Ak’ka trying to knock her down.

The good news - Javal didn’t dare block the Wheel when Ak’ka flung the human projectile at him. He desperately searched his options, best way to stop the assault without hurting the man-shaped human hammer in her arms. Split second of hesitation cost him, and all he could do was raise his arms as Ak’ka whipped the man’s ankles against Javal’s side, pickin’ up momentum where her boots scuffed against wood, all her strength behind the blow. ONE-TWO-THREE, the screaming man-hammer’s bone’s cracking as he tore apart Javal’s armor. Ak’ka winced at the sound.
Whoops. Eh, there’s probably a healer somewhere ‘round here who can patch this up.
Ak’ka slowed down, the tavern around her spinnin’ for all of a second before it centered. The guy in her hands wasn’t so lucky. Tear-stained face and vomit-soaked shirt. Awkward and only kind of guilty, Ak’ka deposited him in the nearest chair and patted him on the shoulder.
“Sorry, bud. Next round of drinks on me.”
‘Course, she didn’t get to make good on this promise yet, ‘cus in that moment Javal dove for her, sword raised and body coiled like a Lion ready to strike. Ak’ka raised her fists, not trustin’ there wasn’t a trick or a feint but not havin’ anything to combat it besides her strength of will - and true to form, Javal returned the favor for the wheel. Hard.
She blocked the one to her face with her arm, water digging into her skin and makin’ her hiss in pain. Better than takin’ that full force to her skull. The one to her torso and chest, though, she couldn’t stop. Ak’ka staggered, the wind knocked outta her lungs. Fucking ow. No way that was just water. Her lips split into a feral grin, blood trickling down the corner of her chin. Wiped away the gore with the back of her hand; the scent in the air stirred the Beast.
Just a murmur. A rumble. Like an animal wakin’ up from hibernation, Ak’ka’s chest gave a violent lurch as the Beast stirred against her rib cage, interested. Catching the scent of battle. Blood. The scar on her shoulder itched, a spark that spread the wildfire, until it burned. The Beast growled, a discordant melody in the Battlesong; an interruption to the flow poundin’ like battledrums, screamin’ let me out, let me out.
“No.” Ak’ka snarled, voice somewhere between orcish and inhuman. Her heart felt like it was gonna burst - the Beast growled low in her throat, but obeyed. She still felt keyed up, tappin’ into that adrenaline.[1] her senses felt sharpened, for a moment. The cheerin’ crowd, the eyes on her, the poundin’ of their flagons against the wood of the bar while they threw money around and screamed in delight, laughin’ at the poor sap’s misfortune at gettin’ thrown around at a ragdoll. And Javal was sendin’ a torrent of water her direction.
Ak’ka braced herself, battle adrenaline and the Beast keepin’ her upright as she weathered the wave.
“Gonna have to do better than that.” She snarled, laughter and an ursine growl in the boom of her voice.
She surged forward, bent down low, hands spread out as if to grapple him - hellbent on grapplin’ him and smashing him into the bar behind.[2] 1. Juggernaut’s Fury (post ½) 2. Tail Wind

Javal smiled back at Ak’ka as her face contorted into a wide grin and snapped into some sort of strange behavior even hearing her snarl out the words no.
He was worried and was about to walk up to her before she roared back to consciousness with words of taunt ready to handle whatever Javal was gonna give her.
He charged forth intending to get another katana slash on her before he was suddenly caught by Akka's great grip. He tried to squirm out of her grasp but couldn't because she was just too fast. Too fat for him to even react. He smashes through the bar behind the two feeling a searing back reach the back of his neck as he struggles to get back up. If Ak’ka decides to retaliate or follow up like he knows she’d probably do he opens his mouth looking like he is going to shoot another water bullet at her face but as soon as she goes to block the blow he charges the water inside his gullet a little more and fires it this time a longer water beam with a lot more power (1) straight into her abdomen intending to knock her down.
Quickly wanting to follow up he decided to up it up a notch sprinting forward and jumping trying to slash her across the chest before twisting his grip and shifting the large cut (2).
