Music, an eerie enjoyment that many partake in. I find it quite enjoyable as well, as it transcends time and space to play and allow for more to spread in even the largest room or in open air. Amidst the crowd, I could see the musicians' playing drums, a tambourine, and a trumpet. They spread high and happy tunes, a jazz genre to be specific. It was pleasant, if not soothing to hear such tunes. I look around on my other side, taking in what my companions are doing. One glance was enough to send me into laughter. Nit was trying to stop what was happening with Rosemary and Carminda, which looked to be a rodeo like ride. The little water pixie was holding onto the back of the miniature griffin like he was a bull. Carminda was just trying to buck off Rosemary while avoiding the hands of Nit while doing so. The cheerful music seemed to really set the mood to mess with Nit. Sadly, amidst my fit of giggles, I could see two figures approaching me. Clearing my throat to try and stop the strong laughter, I attempt to straighten up to make note of who exactly was approaching me. It was the responsibility pusher and what looked to be a friend of hers. With my happy mood slightly ruined, I snap my fingers, grabbing the attention of my group. The tiny two quickly separated and each landing on one of the people, Rosemary on my hat and Carminda on Nit's shoulder. Watching them approach, I smile a pleasant smile, eager to meet someone new and not so eager to talk to Celeste.

After The incident at Arashi's Family house, He and Celeste headed straight to Moonglade, Apparently she knew someone who could help with them gather info on whatever was happening, clearly Arashi's family hid way more from him than he feared was possible, he always knew they hid stuff, his parents were secretive, they must've had their reasons or so he thought until he found Celeste... then he knew something wasn't right after all they had told him she had died... then when they talked he found out they killed her family, A deep hatred was etched in his soul the moment he realized how much sense it made, how they hid everything so well... that not even he was aware of to what they were capable off... but it seems the rabbit hole goes even deeper. As with the earthquake more of their pile of lies crumbled... Celeste's brother appeared to still be alive, and was taken to who knows where. But when Arashi saw the chance, he acted way too rashly... while in his inner conflict, he chose to let them die. Yet again he made the wrong move as they might've talked if confronted... so now they were back to trying to find more information. Hopefully whoever Celeste acquaintance is would be of help. After asking around a bit they were able to locate whoever it was Celeste was looking for, As they got closer to where she was supposed they began to hear music, After climbing to a terrace they found a girl, laughing and enjoying herself, "Is that who we're looking for?" Arashi whispered to Celeste, suddenly the child's attitude seemed to change as she noticed them approaching, Snapping her fingers the Joyous atmosphere of the terrace settled down, and while the music continued below the other's on the terrace seemed to calm down... Clearly she was more than first met the eye. She seemed to eye Celeste with what felt like a little disdain to him, so Arashi decided to be the one to talk first. "Hello, I... I'm Arashi Tento, and I heard maybe you could help us with something..?" It's not that he was unsure of Keyke's ability to help them, it just felt a bit weird for him to ask help from a child... After all as capable as children can be, it's not like they should have to deal with the stuff that happens in the world... they should just have fun, and not have to worry about a stranger coming to them with requests... or at least that's how he felt... "Basically we're looking for a missing person... Although He has technically been 'missing' for a while now, we know he's alive... we saw him recently, be taken from one place to another, but... we... I wasn't there to help him..." again He thought beating himself over the head with his guilt... "If you have any info that might be helpful, I'd be in your debt"

The festivities, bright lights, and music seemed to dim around Celeste a little, which is probably why a certain someone’s mood simply shifted once they made eye contact. Celeste’s demeanor was also much more demure than normal, as she hugged herself, her hair white as ice and her face gray and almost lifeless. She did steal a glance at Nit and offer him a gentle friendly smile, to which he bowed his head and offered a bright, friendly smile back. She appreciated the gesture, and nodded back towards him gracefully, then turned back towards the woman as the two approached closer to her. Celeste could feel the glare, the annoyance, in Keyke’s response to her showing up. “I’ll pay you, and we’ll both owe you a favor.” She added on gently to Arashi’s request as she walked up next to him. “I know you and I are not on the… best of terms. But along with money, you’ll get information that nobody else has.”
She looked between the two. “Arashi, this is Keyke. She’s an…. Information broker. I’m sure you’ve heard of her. The Arcana of the Storm. The Grim Reaper. Whatever name she wants to go by nowadays…. Oh and she hates me.” She added, smiling awkwardly. Celeste looked at Keyke, and sighed. “This is Arashi. He just inherited the Tento legacy. Also my best friend.” With the niceties out of the way, Celeste rubbed her arms, as if she were cold, even though it was decidedly not cold around them. “I’m sure you’ve heard of the Seiko family, and their, uh… Tragic downfall…?” She said, talking in a hushed voice to Keyke. “Turns out the eldest son - My older brother - is still alive. Caught, tortured, imprisoned by the heads of the Tento family house… Who then got what they deserved. But uh…. He got kidnapped by some people after saving my life again… And I refuse to lose him again. So I’m requesting your help in finding him.” Her eyes were pleading, as she looked at Keyke. She would absolutely beg if she had to.

I could be exceptionally petty, or I can do business. Seeing as how they explicitly asked for business, well, that answers the question without any fight. But that doesn't mean I can't go and mess with them, if only momentarily. With a hand that rolled down light taps for a few seconds, I remained silent before drawling a reply. "Well~" my voice holds a happy tune that can be immediately told as following the joyful music being played. "I can help, but I need something else." I release a little giggle, having fun with this little game. I closed my eyes before dropping my smile and looked back at the two, eyes glowing.1 Out comes an entirely different voice than before; a deep, husky, and soothing but also powerful voice came out. "Beg."
I let the tension sit in the air before giggling and cackling, "The looks on your faces! I can't! Hahaha." I wiped a tear that had fallen while my laughter happened. With a final breath to regain my composure, I righted myself before snapping my fingers. Drawing attention to my companions. It looks as if Nit had just sighed during my joke and kept looking up while holding his nose in anticipation for my joke. Rosemary was following my lead with a light giggle when the tension broke. Carminda was not mentally present for the conversation, looking to be sleeping now.
Nit followed through from the snap to hand me a miniature region map. I flick my wrist, hold a book decorated with fire drawings and lava, and place it on the table.2 "Sorry about the joke, I just had to pull your leg for a moment." I flick my other hand and hold a basic black notebook. With a smile I look back up. "Take a seat and let me give you what that wonderful secret is worth to me."

Arashi nodded as he was introduced, then just looked at Celeste with a bit of a worried expression, she was doing pretty bad... and while that is to be expected, she really seemed almost out of it, he was scared for her, while he could blame himself all day, this time he wanted to do something instead, hopefully... she'll reunite with her brother and . then the child now known as Keyke began to think and then giggled a bit something was odd... as she decided what it was she wanted apart from them being indebted to her, information, and money. Arashi's eyes widened, as a decidedly not childish voice asked them to beg. He then looked at Celeste, he was willing to do it if necessary, he'd kneel in front of her, just like he did to Celeste when he found out what his parents had done and that it was basically his fault they killed her family... he was not above it... but... He didn't know Keyke or what she was capable of, neither was he aware of the full extent of her personality or whether she would want them to grovel beneath her, besides he didn't know her relationship with Celeste, so he would let her decide, He was ready to follow her lead when Keyke began to laugh uncontrollably, as if she had just heard the best joke ever... which for her it must have been, considering what she said.
it seemed that thankfully Arashi wouldn't have to worry about an extremely sadistic child with a liking for treating people like slaves... and instead just with a prankster with a bit of a sickly sense of humor and a disregard for what others think of her. After her laugh began to quiet down and she told them to sit down, Arashi sighed "Alright..." and went to take a seat.

Honestly, Celeste didn’t know how Keyke was going to react to her request. But her first response, well, was sort of on point for what she expected - This little demon child would be the type to ask someone to beg for a favor, especially if she didn’t like them. Celeste paused for a moment, anger flashing in her eyes for a moment as she met Arashi’s gaze, and sighed. As much as she hated to admit it, for the cause, she was not beneath it either. Still, he didn’t deserve to be put in the middle of it, so gently, she squeezed the fabric of his shirt to prevent him from doing anything he didn’t have to. Then Keyke cackled, a… playful cackle? Celeste let her face drop for a second, the flash of anger replaced with confusion.
Celeste followed the lead of Arashi, taking a seat beside him. “So wait, you’re just going to agree like that? With some classified information and a promise of payment and debt?” What? What was this girl’s play?
Maybe Celeste shouldn’t question it too much. She watched the demon child pull a map out and Celeste, again, nodded gently to Nit. Celeste was curious. What was the information worth to the demoness? She waited for a cue, or a response, simply watching her with curious, yet uncertain eyes.

The reaction was a bit lackluster at the end of Arashi, as he was very trusting of Celeste and what she was doing. Not to mention, he seemed to be following her a bit like a bodyguard, though that brings the question of how deep does their friendship run? Leaving that aside, Celeste, on the other hand, was giving me. Exquisite reactions were plastered along her face; the shift from anger to confusion was prevalent, and I was thriving in a mood that kept changing to my whims.
I nodded to her question, continuing to set it up as needed to explain what was happening. "I'm an information broker; I live on the supply and demand of knowledge; the more I know of any topic, the more likely I am to best any other information broker trying to gain my area." I pause and glance in the direction of my homeland, Thorock. I mutter lightly, "They think they can get away with it too."
With an easy grace, I lifted the books up, attention turned back to the two in front of me. "This is my black book, keeper of my favors and checks all you promised." I open the book to see rows of tally marks next to many names, tiny prints, but even so, some pages could be seen to have the entire page to themselves because it was filled with tally marks. I hold up the fancy red one next. "This is all possible locations that your brother could be, along with basic numbers and over all skills of the members. Not to mention fighting techniques the heads their use." I smile, "I believe this is what a limited-edition piece of information and a favor is worth."

"That's fair enough then." He nodded as Keyke explained her reasons for agreeing with the deal, There probably isn't much Arashi can offer in the way of information, while he was a bit of an informant for the Starlight Council, he usually didn't focus too much on that part of the job, preferring to simply go on adventures, and inform them on what he found out... usually the minimum he could get away with.... Besides if she is indeed as good as she seems there's probably nothing he could add that she doesn't already know...
He looked at the tally marks and then felt a bit of dread as it dawned on him, just how many people did she have on her side? and just how organized was she with all this... She clearly wasn't just a child. Arashi looked at Keyke "Well that'll certainly be useful, let's hope our dealings go smoothly." then he grabbed a quill and signed his name putting a tally mark next to it. "By the way... you seem awfully proficient and organized at this... it's kinda hard to believe that someone so young has amassed so many favors as well as gathered so much information... unless..." Arashi remembered how many people were able to change their appearance including their age with magic... "How old are you really? sorry... maybe that is an inappropriate question... But, it just feels like something doesn't add up is all. I'm sorry if that was insensitive" He bowed his head a little, it was more than a nod, but not a full bow considering he was still sitting... He held the posture for around a second before looking back up, hopefully she wouldn't be mad...

Celeste rolled her eyes. This girl really was one of the most dramatic people she’s met. Arashi signed, though she felt this was her debt to owe and he didn’t have to, he did before she could stop him. After he did, she gently took the quill from him and signed her own, tallying her own mark as well. “Could be?” she questioned. Celeste knew better than to question the integrity of what the demoness offered, but she had to question that. Could be? She was here for answers, not for guesses. If she wanted a list of where Soren could be, she’d have made her own list. With a bit of annoyance, Celeste took the offered red book, and started glancing through it. She was still going to take the offered information, of course. Some information was better than none.
As Celeste looked through it, and Arashi spoke, she groaned as he had asked the question. THE question. “She’s older than you think she is,” Celeste speaks up, trying to avoid the dramatics as much as she could. Though, as she looked to the red book more and more, she got increasingly upset. Not mad, or anything. Scared. As if she could break down again at a small little push. None of these things were good outcomes, and he was always the one saving her… She pulled herself up a little, trying to gather her bravado. “This list is too long,” She notes. “It’ll take forever for us to find him… He’ll be dead before I get to him.” She hated the idea of that, it made her skin crawl.
She had forgotten how many people were truly after him - and by extension, her. Her unfortunate reality came crashing back to her the moment she saw Soren alive, and then was just as quickly taken away. Celeste shook her head. She had to pull herself together. “Where would we start?” She had asked with a finality in her voice, looking over to Arashi. Preferably as Keyke finished her dramatics, as she was deftly ignoring it.

I couldn't help it; the little tick finished unlocking because of the question from Arashi. I know Celeste had asked the question, making my brain able to achieve my true looks while she is around, but it just feels nice to have that part of me more out for people to hear and see. "She's correct; I'm 20 years old." Then I shake my head, "You are wrong about how that book reads." I grab the book and place it between us. "There are little arrows that explain more." I spread the book out to reveal thin and small arrows linking the name together.
"The arrows show how the group shifts between their bases, as they know at least three people in my occupation watch them." I point to a singular name in the middle of the page. "This was where they were last seen. They have a bad habit of moving after every one or two crimes." I smile, "There has been your kidnapping and theft under them in this location. Meaning," I drag my finger to the connected name, "Here is where your brother will be within the day." I release the book and allow them to look closely at the pages. "The back pages will tell you who stays where for that specific base, allowing for optimal entrance and escape...and any fighting styles you might face in need for revenge." I drag the black book back to me and flick it away like it arrived.

"I figured she'd be, still I was curious..." Arashi responded to Celeste who seemed a bit annoyed at the hole situation... Then Keyke herself responded with what seemed like a content affirmation "20? huh, younger than I expected still..." As Celeste began to realize her circumstances yet again, Arashi put a hand on her shoulder. "It won't come to that, he'll be fine." He was worried about her, but he couldn't let her lose hope, he had reinforced it before... It'll be fine, it had to be. right?
Then Keyke began to explain the book and map better, Arashi watched intently paying close attention at the marked hideouts. "Alright then, it seems that we'd find quite a bunch of people in that hideout. But as long as there are no surprises in regards to their skill, we should be fine." from what Arashi could tell there would be about 50 common thugs, nothing to worry about, then 5 Highly skilled criminals each one with a bodyguard that almost match their skills... those could be a problem if we face them at the same time... and finally the leader of the group... someone just known as Groth blightaxe... He's sure that's a proper bandit name as far as he can tell, they seem to like stuff like that... from what it says, he should be a sturdy savage warrior with some knowledge of magic as well as a known user of poisons and any dirty tactic available... He could be a pain to deal with if the group is still fighting others... still as long as they play their cards correctly, and nothing goes absolutely wrong it seems like a possible rescue mission.
As Keyke returns the newly signed book of favors to her space pocket, Arashi leans back, and begins to think, "So considering what we're up against," He looks at Keyke "I'm guessing you won't have much trouble taking care of yourself... still I wouldn't want our new friend to get hurt, so if you need help dealing with someone... you can let me know.. although you probably won't need it... I feel like I must offer regardless" Then He looks at Celeste. "Ok just to be sure you'll be fine... here I'll give you a few things just in case you need them." Arashi summons to his hand the random piece of chalk "Here, with this you should be able to draw any common weapon you need it'll appear as an elemental weapon channeling the element of where you drew it. It won't last too long... But it might be a life saver." He leaves the chalk on the table for her to pick up. then he summons another one of his possessions the teleporting dart "And keep this as well, don't use it as a weapon though, it can work like that but it's actually a teleport point for me, if you have it with you, I'll be able to teleport to your location. If you're out of sight just contact me with your mind, I'll be there" After that exchange and bit of advice Arashi stood up, "Alright, are we ready then?"
Arashi was eager, he wanted to prove himself to Celeste and a bit to Keyke as well, she had been very helpful so he had to do his best... Also he didn't want Celeste to go through the pain of losing her family again, he'd try to avoid that outcome even if it cost him his life.

wrong, especially when it came to the Demoness. But she would lean over the map, reading it, as well as examining his thoughts. Arashi was more the strategist, she was never interested in that stuff until recently. Plus, it’s not like her parents did much training with her. As he assured her, she couldn’t help but relax a little as she listened to Keyke. “Are you joining us?” She questioned. Celeste didn’t think of asking her, but since the question did pose itself, Celeste was a bit surprised. She came in here asking for information, but was she actually willing to help?
The concept was pushed aside by Arashi’s offer for help, offering her a few items. She glowered at him a little, mumbling about how she wasn’t helpless, and didn’t need his protection… But she still took the items. As he stood up, so did she. “Yeah. We should try and get there as fast as possible.” She had to playfully scowl at him for his excitement. “We just have to remember our goal - Get my brother. Now if we happen to have a little time for some fun… Well, I’ve got a few scores to settle now.” A glint of anger and murderous intent showed in her eyes for a moment before she took the map and started off. “I’m at least capable enough to read a map.” She mumbled under her breath as she walked off.

The offhand mention of Arashi's thinking that my age was much older than 20 made a part of me preen with a bit of blissful happiness. It was seeable by a little twinkle in my eyes, a golden sparkle that seemed to ignite in their blank depths. The timing was impeccable, as it happened during the question from Celeste. I turned to her and gave a light nod, watching and listening to the interactions. It was funny seeing the interaction between the two friends. The light-hearted exchange was somewhat interesting, with little to no double meanings in every movement to the other.
I quickly got up, Nit following my lead. He had been sitting back and watching the room round, occasionally looking back at us before scanning the place again. Rosemary was still on my hat, Carminda remained on Nit's shoulder. The latter fell asleep, and the former was watching with innocent-like curiosity. At the evident emotion displayed on Celeste's face, Rosemary flew around to get closer to the exciting display. Keyke rarely walks with any genuine emotion, and Nit only holds a look of boredom, jealousy, or business-like form. Anger was not expressed in the group she was used to.
As we moved, Nit shifted the little griffon songbird into his arms. It released a light tune that was similar to a little snore every now and then. Otherwise, my party remained silence as we could for the rest of the travel. After a bit of traveling, I let the footsteps cover my movements as I rush to the foliage and disappear from sight and noticeability of the group while remaining somewhat close.1

As Celeste took the Items, Arashi noticed her slight look of disdain, he felt a bit bad, maybe he had been insensitive..? Regardless of what she felt of this, for him it was the right thing to do, he really didn't want anything to happen to her... he still felt guilty from last time, and he wouldn't forgive himself were harm befall her... So regardless of Celeste's feelings on his over protectiveness, Arashi felt it was better she has those and not need them, than needing them and not having them...
After they both got up Celeste felt the need to tease him a little about his eagerness, "Yes, I know... that's why I don't want to delay much, he's been through enough..." Then she grabbed the map and sort of stormed off... saying something about being capable enough to read it..? oh... maybe she did feel a bit patronized by him..? it really wasn't his intention, Arashi sighed... "Alright, better get going then... otherwise she will leave us behind." he then left the place and followed behind Celeste.
soon after catching up to Celeste the group had left the town... walking through the forests of Moonglade, after a bit he really couldn't help but look at the tiny Songbird Griffon, her little chirp like snoring being too cute for him to ignore for the whole trip, Melting a little he wanted to ask more about the creature as well as Keyke and her other companions, still he decided to stay focused mostly looking forwards and following the self appointed map reader/navigator Celeste. Keyke left after he looked back at Carminda, so her disappearance remained unnoticed... for now... Even if Celeste was focused on the map and wouldn't even bat an eyelash at Keyke just leaving them... Arashi was usually the kind to worry, he tended to focus on the safety of others, even those he traveled with, over his own, and even if Keyke could defend herself and probably had her own plans and motives for leaving, he was bound to notice someone had disappeared at some point.

Celeste, Arashi, and Keyke did manage to eventually get to their goal eventually - A little clearing in the surrounding forests of Moonveil village. Really, a typical spot for people like this. Given that it’s only been a couple of days since the incident, Celeste wasn’t all that surprised that they haven’t yet left Moonglade. Celeste hadn’t noticed any of her surroundings, including but not limited to Keyke disappearing into the forest. But when she did finally decide to stop, just a bit away from the clearing. Enough so they could see what’s going on, and still not be seen at all.
Celeste finally turns around, and looks at the group. Honestly, she didn’t think this far ahead - If it were just her, she’d have just gone in, guns blazing. Probably would have died, but honestly, that would have been fine with her. But now she looks around, and her eyes rest on Arashi.
“...Shit.” she sighs. “So what’s the plan? We’re not going to be able to fight through all of them, are we?”
Just as she finished speaking, she heard a twig snap near her, and she grabbed Arashi and Nit, and gently pulled them into the foliage. She had finally noticed that Keyke had disappeared, and she didn’t miss a beat. Not only was Celeste sure that she could easily take care of herself, she also, simply, did not care. She did look over at Nit, though. He’s a nice guy. He doesn’t deserve to get hurt. Honestly, part of her wondered why he was here to begin with.
