Shaa walked slowly down the narrow alley way, a small bit of crumpled parchment in hand. Earlier that night, he had been minding his own business at the local tavern when that woman in the dark cloak had approached him. Not usually one to allow, pretty much anyone, to approach him when he was 5 mugs deep for the night, this woman was odd. She was not thrown off at all by approaching the large and admittedly tipsy Minotaur which was by itself weird. But there was something about her that cut through the haze. Something deep. Something…dangerous.
The woman had sat down at Shaa’s relatively small table and made her self comfortable like she belonged there. Shaa was too curious about what the mysterious woman was up to to kick her out immediately. The least he could do was figure out what she wanted. I know you, don’t I? Said the strange woman coolly, like a snake writhing its way across the jungle floor. I don’t know, do you? Shaa retorted, still very wary of where all this was going. This was not his first strange woman in a seedy watering hole to approach him. The last time something similar happened, it turned out to be a mimic and Shaa spent a good thirty minutes beating the thing down with a table leg.
Yes, you are Shaa Rhunn, the leader of the Fighters Guild. “Interim” leader. He corrected flatly. Basically just keeping the seat warm. What do you want? The woman casually reaches into one of the sleeves of her cloak. Shaa’s muscles tense, waiting for a dagger or some other weapon to be produced. To his surprise, the woman pulls out a sheet of paper and a heavy bag of coins. My friend needs some help, a rescue of sorts. Shaa cocked his head slightly, curious at the turn of phrase. How do you sort of rescue someone? He’s a mage who played around too much. You would just be saving him from himself really. Should be an easy job for a big, strong fighter such as yourself. Magic gone awry. Ughh. Sounds more like a giant headache really. But that was a very big bag of coins and Shaa was still paying off that ballista he wrecked when the spire viper attacked the guild. This might even put him over the top.
Ummm I’ll need some more information before I commit to anything. The woman smilies and hands him the piece of paper. An address is scrawled over the face of it. Be there at 9:00. I’ll explain everything.
So there he was, paper in hand, the promise of paying off his debt in the back of his brain, heading down an alleyway to…. Shaa finally sees a small wooden door with the address painted on the side of it. He slowly pushes open the door with a long creak and enters what looks to be some sort of art studio. The room is mostly bare with canvasses and paint scattered about the room. In the corner is the woman from last night standing with someone else that he doesn’t recognize.

"Gods, how the hell am I going to get in?" Rosen, currently sat out of sight in a bush, was peering over to the gates of the city. He obviously couldn't just burst in or knock some guards unconscious. He definitely didn't want a repeat of Thunderhoof, even if he did have fun with Thalia then. His train of thought was cut off by the sudden voice behind them. "Now what is a monster like you waiting by the gates of the city? Looking for prey or rather, something else entirely?" Rosen jumped at the surprise of someone finding them in this little hiding spot. He raised his hands in surrender, turning around and walking out of the bush. His already battered pink sweater received a few more tears as he did. "Heyyyy uh, no not looking to hurt anyone. Just want in the city without getting impaled or maimed is all." Stood there in waiting, some sort of figure in a cloak. He couldn't see any sort of features besides the feminine voice. The lady looked over Rosen, seeing clearly as to why he would want a much more roundabout way inside. "How about this, I help you in and you help me with something." The women offered. Rosen thought about, weighing his options. On one hand, he had no guarantees this wasn't a setup to kill him. There had been plenty who have tried already. On the other, what choice did he really have? He nodded, accepting the deal.
After some sewer crawling, alleyway hiding, and touring the pretty golden architecture, Rosen was lead into some sort of studio. The woman left to get someone who would "be a huge help", in her words. So, in waiting, he sat in the corner of the room, admiring the half-finished paintings left on the canvasses. After a boring wait, the women returning shortly beforehand, a door was heard opening followed by heavy footfalls. Then, to Rosen's surprise, a living legend walked out into view. Minotaurs were something Rosen had only heard of amidst stories, both in life and death. Stood staring in awe and in slight fear, an odd looking sylvan elf. Though, there were a few key differences in his appearance compared to other elves. The first being the very visible dagger embedded in his skull, vines and flowers grown around it. There was even painted pink hearts on the blade, as if it would make less threatening. Second, flowers of different colors and looks seemingly decorated every cut, wound, and gash on the sylvan's body. A fresh rose even replaced the right eye of the lad. The last most notable difference would be the left arm of the boy, it being purely skeletal beyond the thin vines around the marrow that had attempted to replace the flesh. Overall, Rosen gave off a barely noticeable hint of rot, only hidden by the aroma of the garden of flowers that made their home on his body and face.

Shaa looked at the undead boy and raised an eyebrow. Looking at the woman he asks. Ummm what’s up with the dead guy? Shaa considers his words for a moment. Do the undead get offended? He took out skeletal warriors and zombies on a regular basis and none of them seemed to lend themselves to personal slights. This being was a bit different however. Despite the knife lodged in its head, it seemed much more aware of its surroundings than the typical “amble and moan” crowd. What really bothered him was that Shaa had learned from hard experience that the undead were typical company of Necromancers so he would have to keep his guard up.
Oh, you don’t have to worry about him. The woman cooed, her black robe flapping at her feet. He’s just here as back up. A hired hand, just like you, if you will. He wasn’t entirely convinced yet this wasn’t some sort elaborate set up. Well not exactly like me. If I was missing an arm, I’d probably notice. He says pointing to the skeletal arm. Tut tut dear sir. You yourself are a mage of no small renown. Surely a little visit of the undead doesn’t bother you. First off, I’m an elementalist and a fighter, not a mage. Don’t lump me in with those guys. And second, just to be clear, if this guy tries to eat me, I’m going to twist him into a pretzel and coming after you next.
The woman holds up her hands and laughs. Sue sure, message received, and now… why we are here. The woman walks over to a large canvass in the middle of the room. It’s covered with with a yellowing tarp that was hanging over the face of it. My name is Carmella De Vine. And my husband, the genius, the most wonderful mage she gives Shaa a side glance at the mention of the word. And..he is here. With a flourish, she throws off the tarp revealing a beautiful painting underneath. He looks at the painting waiting for a further explanation from the woman. Sooo… is he behind the painting? He asks quizzically. No my dear Minotaur…he is INSIDE the painting….

Normally, Rosen wouldn't take that kind of offense made so blatantly in front of him. He knew he wasn't the most friendly looking individual, but he still had feelings! Instead, his fear before has now shifted into pure, utter astonishment. Much like a child to a celebrity, Rosen did not care for whatever the man was badmouthing him about. He was more focused on the fact that this was not a dream and he truly is in the presence of a minotaur. Though when the woman named Carmella pulled the tarp from the canvas and revealed a beautiful landscape of a meadow with two figures sat on a hill, he was immediately brought back to reality as she mentioned that her husband had apparently been inside the painting. "Ok ok wait, slow down- what?! How is that possible?" Carmella sighed. "Well, it all started a week ago. Our anniversary was coming up and my dearest wished to make me a wonderful gift." She waved to all the unfinished pieces of work. "As you can see, he was having trouble making something he believed to be fitting as a gift. He sought to recreate our shared memories together within the paints. With much strife, he did what he does best and resorted to the arcane to help in his quest. In an effort to make his painting life-like, well... he did manage to do exactly that, just a tad bit too literal. He fell into his creation, now a doorway into the world he made, and is currently stuck."
Rosen thought for a moment, recalling that she and the minotaur mentioned the big guy's magical prowess as an elementalist. "Ok so, I understand why you would need this guy-" He gestures to Shaa. "Buuuut what about me? I don't got any sort of magic besides making plants grow." "Strength in numbers, as I'm sure you're aware with all those friends you have." She points to her head as she mentions friends. "Ah right that makes se- Wait, how do you know about that?" Rosen stepped back a moment, a little off put by her knowledge about the sylvan. Carmella disregards his question entirely, moving to Shaa. "Any questions? Oh and yes, you both will be rewarded for this kind gesture. That I can promise you."

Despite his years of adventuring and study, Shaa had to admit that this was a new one. Stuck in a painting. This totally sounded like something one of those jerks in the mages guild would cook up. He walked closer to the now revealed canvass to take a closer look at it. The scene was of a picturesque meadow with flowers and light trees . In the distance was a silhouette of two people sitting next to each other in silent serenity. Shaa was no art critic but he thought it was a nice painting at least. If one was going to get stuck somewhere for all eternity, there could definitely be worse places.
Stepping away from the painting, Shaa takes a deep sigh. Yes that’s very touching and sad and all, but you are missing kind of an important piece of information here. Even if we go into the painting to get him, what’s going to keep us from getting stuck in there just like him? I’m not looking to live out the rest of my life in some lobby somewhere. Carmella flapped her robe and strode to the corner of the room where a small writing desk was tucked away. She opens one of the desk drawers and pulls out a small statue of a feather. Believe me, my husband had no intention of staying in the painting either. When he created it, he was working with an assistant named Lars. Lars had not been paid in several weeks so, in revenge, when my husband went to enter the painting, Lars hid the retrieval device, trapping him inside until he got the money. He didn’t know I had the money and had left town to visit some friends. By the time I had gotten back, my husband had been trapped for weeks and Lars had left with the device. This she said holding up the iron feather was the back up my husband put into place. If you enter with it, it can bring you all back.
Shaa stared at the woman skeptically. If it’s so easy, why didn’t you just hop in and grab him yourself? Carmella’s eyes started to well up with tears. Don’t you think I’ve tried? She turns away from them, her sobs can still be heard. That world isn’t like our world. It’s based on imagination but…it’s twisted. The longer he stays in there the worse it gets. We only have one or two more times and we might never get him back. She turns back, tears have smeared the make up on her face. You have just got to get him back. She walks over and hands Shaa the feather. Time is short. It would take more than a weepy tale to convince Shaa this wasn’t anything more than a shake down. Looking at the feather, it was large with a seemingly fluffy, though still, metal, plume at the end. What if we.., When he looks up, the woman is making hand signs. Before Shaa can stop her, the room starts to swirl and it sounds like he is falling. Noooo! Every friggin time. He can feel himself slowing down, the pit of his stomaches slowing their lurch. Suddenly the world is overly bright as he finds himself in a perfect forest, right down to the leaves. Off to the side, the undead being is here as well.

Rosen was personally moved by her story, feeling sympathy for Carmella. He couldn't imagine someone he cared about being stuck in some sort of scary place, much less a wedded partner. He opened his mouth to speak before noticing something off. There was a noise, a creaking of floorboards, behind him. It was a little distant but with him not currently enraptured, it was noticeable. The voices that inhabited his mind began to send off every signal, saying that this situation wasn't right, something was most definitely off. Rosen, knowing those voices only spoke truths, turned back to Shaa and Carmella. "Hey, I th-" It was already too late. He watched in horror as the woman began using a signing cast while the mighty minotaur disappeared from sight. "O-Oi, what are you doing?!" The woman said nothing as Rosen began to feel a tug on his body, the room spinning as he felt himself get lifted into the air before falling. So, this is it huh. Got my second chance it goes to some crazy lady... Man, I knew I should've stolen those breads before coming here. Would've been nice to die being able to make a jok- His thoughts were cut as he hit soft ground, hard with the cracking of bone as an audible "oof" escapes his lips. "Ahhhh, thats definitely a shattered rib... Could've warned me earlier that she seemed weird... Ya ya, stranger danger and all that." He spoke to seemingly no one.
With a slow rise up, Rosen examined his surroundings. The minotaur was still there, so there's that. Beyond that, it appeared they were in some sort of forest. Despite him being used to this kind of scenery, no matter where he looked, the view constantly looked picture perfect. It was most certainly strange considering he only had a single eye. He rubbed said eye, confused as to why everything besides the minotaur appeared in 20/20 vision. Suddenly, the rustling of leaves echoed loudly throughout the surroundings. The undead stood up swiftly, reaching behind him to wield his weapon: a farmer's hoe with various flora coming out of the wooden handle. "Hey mister fighter man, I think we have company."

It doesn’t take the massive fighter very long to orient himself and do a quick self check of himself. These kinds of checks were common in battle so he had a lot of practice checking his bases for the essentials. To his relief, he seemed to be all there as well as his items with the addition of the metal feather from that woman. Carmela! Uggg she was going to pay for this one. Whether or not her story was true , she had essentially shoved Shaa and the undead guy into the deep end of the pool and that was not cool. The undead guy…
"Hey mister fighter man, I think we have company."
He would have to deal with that in a minute. The undead being was correct, something big was coming through the picturesque trees and heading right for them. It didn’t look like his new companion would be very helpful in a fight but he wasn’t about to assume anything just yet. For the moment however, he would need to defend himself.
Out of the forest burst two giant spiders but spiders unlike Shaa had ever seen before. They were both multicolored, like they got washed in a rainbow. On top of that, like the forest, they were smooth and perfectly symmetrical. Seeing living creatures like that was unnerving. Most living beings had something off about them to make them unique, like squishy snowflakes. A leg slightly longer than the other. Eyes with flecks of different colors in the light. Seeing perfect creatures felt unnatural to say the least. They didn’t look friendly so Shaa would have to make them a little less perfect.
As the first spider skittered towards him, Shaa tried to summon an earth construct beneath it to launch it into the air. To his dismay, he could not “feel” the earth anywhere even though he was standing on it. It dawns on him that this world is magical paint, there might be some elements here like water but he would be severally limited in what he could manipulate until he could figure it out. Oh that’s just friggin fantastic. He mutters to himself as the spider is nearly on him. He may not have his elemental abilities here but if that spider thought that it would make him easy prey, it was sorely mistaken.
As the technicolor arachnid lunges at him, Shaa snags one of its spindly legs, turns and yanks it roughly into a now slightly less than perfect tree. The spider shudders as it’s head slams roughly into the tree trunk. Ohhh so your not invincible, that’s good to know. Shaa kicks it hard on its backside and multicolored spider innards go flying through the air. Not wanting a repeat of that, Shaa breaks a large branch off a nearby tree to use as a club against the second spider. Unfortunately, the second spider is heading towards his undead companion…

Rosen watched as the minotaur brutally kicks in the multicolored spider before barely evading a leaping pounce from the other, flinging himself to the side and falling to the floor as the spider landed behind him. "Alright, guess we're doing this now." Rosen rose, flourishing his scythe and dashing to the painted spider. The spider reeled back, as if preparing something. The undead's instincts kicked in along with the guidance of voices who were looking over the boy. 1Immediately, he reflexively flicked out his skeletal hand as the vines that housed within it grew in large size, thorns scattered around it as it flew towards the spider. The painted arachnid reveals what it was preparing as it spewed a sticky, red substance back at Rosen. The vines and webbing collide. The second they do, the webbing ignites, the material converting into one of flames. "Gods, what in the world!?" Rosen ripped his arm free from the vines he called out before the flames climbed up to it. He moved past his burning creation and swung his scythe upwards at the creature. It turned away to dodge, the blade only severing one of its many legs. 1Before the creature could get too far away, he summoned forth those vines once more, wrapping it around the handle of his weapon. He pulled and twisted the vines like it were his limb, pulling the scythe down onto the spider. It let out a shrill as it pierced through cleanly, the blade pinning the spider into the ground. It twitched and moved before slowly ceasing its movement. Rosen let out a soft sigh of relief. "Ok, glad thats over now." He tore his arm away from the vine and walked over to the spider, kicking it in annoyance. As he did, the spider suddenly begins to dissolve. The physical body and perfect design fell away, turning into the many paints that created it. It seeped into the grass, almost melding with it, and disappeared from sight completely.

As Shaa moved over to club spider number two, he was surprised to see the undead being lash out at the spider with vines coming out his arm. As he did so, the spider spewed webbing that somehow ignited the vines and webbing. Eventually the undead being was able to overcome the colorful assailant, it’s corpse now dissolving into the ground below. Shaa, still clutching the branch in hand, walks over to talk to his reluctant companion.
Hey, you can understand me right? He asks unsure how much his new travel buddy will be able to understand him. My name is Shaa. What is your name? Shaa watches him carefully as he pokes the still dissolving spider with a stick. Look man… I don’t want to be in here any longer than I have to. Let’s go hunt down this artist and get out of here. The sooner the better. Right?
The biggest question was, how in the world were they supposed to find this guy. The only real clue was to back track where the giant spiders came from. If this guy was really the artist, surly their origin had to be somewhere near him. We’ll look man. I think it best we follow that path while it’s still here. Even now, the broken pieces of the forest were starting to mend itself. We will have to hurry if we want to find any giant spider tracks. You coming?

Rosen looked towards the approaching bull, clenching his weapon in slight fear of the large figure making its way over. "Rosen, Rosen Peace. You can probably guess why I named myself that." He watched closely as Shaa poked and prodded the spider. It festered and twitched in reaction but stayed dead. Rosen yanked his scythe off of the creature's body, its dissolving now hastening. He brought in close to inspect the remaining paint that coated the blade. The color wasn't rainbowish but rather slowly changing like a chameleon would. He turned the paint away from sunlight and noted how its color stayed vibrant despite being in the shade. "Ya, lets get out of this uh... place? Thing? Whatever here is."
Taking notice of the the repairing forest, Rosen flicked his scythe to shake off the paint before rushing into the forgery. He cut through the bushes and branches in his path, making sure to make space for the minotaur, and simply walked forward. He didn't really have a plan beyond following Shaa's advice. And so, he followed any sort of already disturbed plant life. As he walked, Rosen picked his head up a little, as if hearing something. "... Oh thats a good point... I'll ask them." He made a glance back to make sure Shaa was close by. "Yo, so those creatures and this whole place look uncomfortably perfect right? I don't know that much about magic or art but I'm pretty sure a regular person can't make a one-to-one creation. From what I've learned and what my friends know, perfection is practically impossible. Do you think maybe a spell went horribly wrong like that lady said or maybe he gave something up to make this?"
After a good deal of trekking, Rosen came into a small clearing. Taking a brief look around, it looked to be a manmade pathway amidst this forest. Though, when looked directly down the path, his mouth turned agape in awestruck. The view was amazing as the dirt road stretched for ages, a light breeze blew a trail of leaves and petals across the path. The sun was hitting just right to leave stripes of beams through the tree line. There were even overhanging branches that carried pure white flowers. "Oi... This is..." He began to start walking down the path, his face in a blank and trancelike state. Before he could go any further, Rosen shook his head awake.

Shaa thought over the question for a moment. Yeah that’s a good question. I really don’t know. That lady hasn’t exactly been trustworthy so far so who knows what’s really going on. The one thing that we do know is she wants something down here and wants us to bring it back to her. I think the best thing to do is just keep going on the assumption she’s telling the truth until we find out otherwise. Probably sooner rather than later he thinks to himself.
As they tromp through the forest, curiosity gets the best of him. So man, how did you know…you end up all dead and everything. He couldn’t really think of a delicate way to broach the topic but it was necessary. He needed to make sure his new undead companion wouldn’t come back to bite him…literally. The two continued onward until they came to a small clearing. The scene was perfectly serene as Rosen stepped into the gentle clearing. As he does so, Shaa notices the beautiful white flowers on the trees above. There is something about them that looks strangely out of place.
Shaa was about to follow Rosen in when he sees him stumble awkwardly and catch himself. Shaa is about to go help him but stops just short of the clearing. Hey, are you ok? He calls out to him. Suddenly, Shaa started to feel sleepy. He steps back into the forest and catches himself. What in the world is happening? Was there someone else here? He peers through the forest to see if there is someone is watching them. Seeing them alone, he is not sure what could be causing the sudden shift. This place was so weird, it could be anything. He takes a deep breath ( wait.he can breathe.,there is AIR in here) and reaches into his jolly bag oh gifts. Maybe fate can lend them a hand. H3QvN_i4

"Y-ya I'm alright. Just felt... off? But to answer your question, I died during the Rune Wars I'm pretty sure. Got revived uhhhh, maybe a month ago? Time's weird." He placed a hand to his temple, somehow getting a migraine despite the weapon housed in his cranium. That was when the realization hit. Rosen looked up towards ceiling of leaves, putting a hand to it... His eyes widened in worry, taking a quick glance at Shaa before looking away down the walkway. "Fuck... Uh, lets hurry ok?" Rosen began speed walking down the path, unsure of what it may lead but absolutely needing to leave as soon as he could lest he make a big mistake.
A good deal of walking later, the forest's scenery shifted to one of serenity to one of malice. The trees turned twisted and thorny. The vines and flowers down this way have wilted due to the much more dense foliage over hanging the pair of unfortunate adventurers. The entire way, a feeling of them being watched was unshakeable. The sylvan, a little unnerved, opened their boney palm. 1The thorns of the vines that wrapped around his ulna began to morph into seeds. Though these seeds were a little different from the average. Minuscule arms and legs sprouted forth on the batch of seedlings as they climbed all over Rosen. He smiled, a little more comfortable with his tiny friends. As the group continued, the sound of insect-like clicking came from up ahead. Rosen tried to focus his vision down the lane, squinting to see further. Up ahead, the pathway seemed to open with some sort of massive white clump in the center of the clearing. "Oi, there's something there. Maybe a place where those paint things came from?" Almost comedically timed, the rustling of leaves above resounded through the forest as a collection of spiders of similar color from before rained down the foliage, landing behind and in front of the bull and zombie. Although the rainbow colors matched the previous arachnids, the design's of said creatures were a bit more vicious looking. The eight legged foes were more spiky when it came to their legs followed by containing much more eyes than the average spider. Instead of the usual set eight, a grand total of fifteen in hexagon form spotted the faces of the monsters. "Ok, getting a little tired of these things." Rosen readied their scythe, the seedlings opting to move to the shoulders. "You think water will wash off the paint?"

Shaa looks at his envelope a bit disappointed. Apparently Fate had it out for them today. He should have nknown better considering they were just magically shoved into a painting. Shaa eats one of the candy coins to give himself a boost and heal any nonsense from his fight earlier. Eating the coin also gives a nice sugar bump which helps him feel better. With the boost, Shaa puts his large head down and tromps through the clearing behind Rosen.
The Rune Wars? Shaa was a bit taken aback by how old Risen was. He must feel pretty out of touch assuming he feels anything that is. Despite being a zombie, Shaa is getting the feeling that Rosen is much more with it than the typical brain eater. In truth, he’s probably closer to a revenant than an actual zombie. Personally, it wasn’t a life Shaa envied at all. You will have to let me know that story. I actually have some questions about a couple people I’ve heard about. They continued to chat a bit as they ran until they come to a clearing with a large white clump.
Shaa considers Rosens question. Water? No, probably not because, just like the dirt here, it’s not actually dirt, it’s just paint. The water is just p….Then Shaa gets an idea. Well the water here won’t work but that doesn’t man we can’t bring in our own water. Shaa makes some hand signs and summons a large sphere of water in front of them. Man, not gonna lie, I’m kind of surprised that worked.
With actual water summoned to the painted plain, Shaa prepared for their attack on the now more gruesome rainbow spiders that were heading their way. One nasty one in particular with spikey legs was skittering towards them. Shaa moves closer to the water sphere, takes a deep breath and blows a large cone of fire through the side of it towards the spider. Doing so creates a large jet of steam that blasts into the colorful arachnid, turning it into a big pile of multicolored mush. Shaa smiles at Rosen. Steam cleaning.

Rosen returned Shaa's laugh with one of his own. Despite the situation they were in, even the undead had a sense of humor. Flourishing his farmer's tool, he took a stride forward and swung at the approaching creatures. These spiders were much combat ready than the previous, jumping away from the boy's scythe. "Tch, ok then. You're really bugging me."
1Taking his boney hand out, vines erupted forth and reached out to the arachnids. It jumped back in reaction, though that didn't stop the vines from continuously growing towards it. The flora followed in kind, grabbing one of the many legs. Rosen smirked with a cocky look. "Oi, you need a wash." Yanking the spider into the air, Rosen dragged it with the vines and swung it through the sphere of water Shaa conjured up. As the vines came through the other side, all that was left was the gooey remains of paint that coated the plant-life. "Shaa, do you think you can check out that white glob up ahead? I'm pretty sure thats where these fellas are coming from. I'll keep them occupied." He was hoping the bull man would take him up on his offer. While yes, it was probably true that white thing held some sort of answer for this but an ever present problem was soon arising and he'd rather not have the man see. The usual voices were already gone as those faint whispers began quietly ringing in the back of his mind. He was running out of time.
Shaken out of his thoughts, Rosen lifted his scythe up to block the bite of a leaping spider, its fangs digging into the wooden pole. He wrestled with it as the others took the opportunity to approach. He wouldn't have that, however, as he flicked out his hand to pull his thorny whip around. Shoving off the spider that was refusing to let go of his weapon, Rosen cracked his weaponized flora and whipped it into the incoming party. The strike was blunt, knocking some away with only a few cuts from the thorns that dot the vines. That should give the two enough time to decide their upcoming decision as he slashed the previous spider he was wrestling, cleaving the head clean off as the body reduced to a puddle.

Rosen was right. They could be sitting here messing with rainbow arachnids forever if they didn’t take care of the root of the problem. The big white blob was as suspicious as anything so taking it out was probably the right way to go. Or it could kill them. Or it could spawn something even nastier than spiders. Shaa had given up on anything in his life being truly predictable anymore so in cases like this, one suggestion was as good as the next. Yeah, I got it. Watch yourself, I’ll be right back.
Shaa maneuvered what remained of his water orb over to the white blob in the feild. The spiders were keeping their distance apparently having seen the fate of the last one who had come too close. As he reaches the white mass, he is surprised to find that it is fairly solid. Poking it with his free hand, it feels like wet paint that has just dried on the surface while inside is still liquid…and moving. Whatever it was, it had the feeling that it was going to be trouble if he didn’t deal with it.
Shaa starts to concentrate on the air that is around him. He is happy to find that it is like normal air and he is free to manipulate it. He forces the air to start to spin around him. As the wind starts to pick up, Shaa forces the water sphere into the turning cyclone, forming a water spout churning around him. Shaa is standing close enough to the white mass that the water spout is crashing into it, buffeting and damaging the side.
Faster and faster the watery maelstrom turns until eventually it rips out the side of the mass, spilling partially formed rainbow creatures out into the grass. Unfortunately for them, however, the emerge too close to the cyclone and are simply pulled in and shredded into tiny rainbow bits. On and on it goes until the white mass is nothing more than a colorful streak on the ground.
