"I'm sure you do." Danae says in response. People having their ways of finding others seems to be a constant in Darkveil, so it's usually safe to assume that people can contact you one way or another if you meet someone here.
Danae nods in appreciation with Zarius's offer and smiles warmly. She's grown used to doing things herself, so it's unlikely that Danae will track Zarius down for assistance, but having the offer is nice nonetheless.
Danae nods once again as she gets the answer as to what his associates are doing. It makes perfect sense, but Danae has never really been one to care about a cultists personal effects. A bandit, maybe, as you can at least see where they're coming from sometimes, but not a cultists. Everyone does things differently, however. "Mm, solid."
Watching the drake pry open the smoldering cart is incredibly amusing. The tired, disappointed faces of those surrounding the cart also amusing to the fallen angel. "Caution is good. Annoying sometimes, but good."
The delay in Zarius's response doesn't miss her, and nor does the smile that doesn't reach his eyes. She doesn't mention it, however, sensing a touchy subject. Plus, she feels this conversation coming to a close anyway, so dragging it on with something like that is wrong on two different levels.
The appearance of even more mercenaries isn't surprising, but definitely puts Danae slightly on guard. Despite her work with what counts as 'law enforcement' in this city, she's not exactly on the best of terms.. well anywhere, to be fair, but especially not here. She watches with mild curiosity and wariness as some give slight bows to Zarius, intrigued by the act.
"Yes, of course. Appreciate letting me tag along for this one - means a lot. Wish you all the best." Danae taps Zarius's shoulder, smiling kindly again before turning and walking down the street.
"Time to go to - ugh - Fucking Zeinav City. Fuck sand, sand is so stupid." Danae mumbles to herself as she walks off, not at all pleased with the trip she has ahead of her, but knowing full well it's an inevitable leg of her journey.
