Nephele was practically brimming in a mix of confusion and excitement. The idea of a theremin (another word she decided she hated with a passion) fascinated her to no end. It sounded a bit like thaumaturgy or the bardic magic she’d witnessed from when she watched bards performed, but not…magical. How foreign a concept this was. She couldn’t even begin to understand how that worked without magic, the people of Earth were incredibly efficient.
With C’Leena asking her about the lights, Nephele blinked in surprise. “I have not but…the Land of Wonder has something vaguely similar. I never strayed too far from the water, but something tells me it’s very different than what you describe. Being as you have no fairies or the like there, it can’t be what I’m thinking.” Nephele smiled. “I would love to see that. You’re really making it hard for me to not be excited, dearest.”
She can barely sit still, despite her best efforts, and is letting her mind run wild with possibility as she played with her fiancé’s hands. “This is all so…new. I’ve experienced ‘new’ before as I’ve travelled Charon and the fey realm but…this is such a foreign concept. Perhaps it’s because the day I left the fey realm I was too young and dependent to fully realize just how different the realms are. Yours will be the first one I witness in over a decade, with full cognizance. It’s so exciting!”
Nephele feels the kiss to her forehead and reaches up to touch C’Leena’s cheek, having her look at her from the awkward angle. She was so eternally grateful, the buzz of exhilaration showing in her eye. This was another one of those days where she had to remind herself that she wasn’t dreaming, poking and caressing C’Leena’s face.
“There’s so many things I want to say right now. Thank you so much, angel.”

The excitement bubbling from Nephele is contagious as a smile worms it's way onto C'Leena's features. The cold hand on her cheek providing a unique warmth that is only really possible with her. C'Leena cups her hand after Nephele eases up on the poking, prodding and unintentional scratching.
C'Leena is excited to show her this sort of thing. She hopes that Nephele has the same reaction C'Leena did when discovering magic and the new world (Minus the panic and various negative things with her arrival). The awe and wonder are things she hopes to see in Nephele. Sure, there are plenty of horrific things - same with every place ever. For now, C'Leena will carefully leave those out. Perhaps if Nephele is curious she can show her some time later, but not now.
"Well, there's nothing stopping us from heading back to the room and getting it started. Here, lets go do that, yeah? It might be a better idea to walk it since.. you know.. Mana and-" She gestures to her sutures. "I should probably run you through first aid, huh? Another time, maybe. You did well, though. Thank you again. Come on, lets get goin'."
It takes the C'Leena a decent amount to get off the roof, but with the assistance of Nephele and some time and unique footing, she gets down relatively painlessly. The walk back to the Inn is relatively peaceful and they are unbothered on their walk. C'Leena gets a couple looks since her clothing is rather bloodied, but nobody seems overly panicked or anything, more concerned than wanting to alert the guard.. hopefully.
C'Leenas hand remains laced with Nepheles the entire way, her free hand running her fingers over the faded tattoo of the rose on the back of her neck. She's unsure as to why her mind has drifted to that, nor is she exactly sure when it happened, but for whatever reason it's there. Her encounter with Cyran back in Dragons Peak was far more therapeutic than she had been letting on. For the first time that night, C'Leena thought on Roses passing and the fact that she won't be coming back, and instead of the urge to cry for hours, she instead smiled.
She smiled because Rose is likely in a far better place. The struggles of day to day life were impacting the family - and her quite heavily. While C'Leena still struggles with her death, she's slowly coming to terms with it all. Very, very slowly, but it's more progress in 5 months than she has made in 5 years, and that's thanks to Nephele and Cyran. Even now, the thought that Rose is somewhere better for her makes C'Leena smile just a touch.
It doesn't take too long to reach the Inn, where the barkeep immediately points at C'Leena. "Questions. One: Am I to expect the guards to come here after you? And Two: If not, are you okay?" The man asks, pausing mid conversation with another patron. The questions take her by surprise, and after a second of figuring out what the man means, she laughs.
"I bloody well hope not, and yes, I am. Thank you for asking." C'Leena responds genuinely. The barkeep nods, the concerned furrow fading from his face.
"Good. Don't bleed on the bedsheets." He says, returning to the conversation he was having previously. C'Leena chuckles before walking to their room. Shutting the door behind her, C'Leena sits down on the bed, patting the spot next to her.
"Alright, so: Dreamwalker is just as it sounds. Either during a meditative state or during sleep, this will cause your brain to start dreaming, and I will be there, sharing the dream with you. We both will have control, so you can manipulate the scene or whatnot, either taking from your own memory or mine. I can do the same, and will be doing so often cause theres so much to show you."
C'Leena shifts herself onto the bed, on her knees and facing Nephele. She extends both her hands to her, palm up as she continues speaking. "I reckon due to the time and whatnot, we'll stick with the meditation bit, yeah? C'mere, lets get started."
