It was a lovely spring morning in Moonglade, a warm breeze blowing through the trees and foliage that dotted the region. For most people traveling through this area, it was an idyllic day, a bright blue sky overlooking a vast expanse of green fields and forest. Gubb absolutely hated everything about it. The warm sun, the blue sky, the chirping birds, it was all so disgusting for the snow white Ribbinynh. Normally they would have avoided this place like the plague, having a general distaste for the southern part of the world in general, however the frog like creature had heard rumors of a very rare and exotic mushroom that grew here in these woods.
And so, despite the high amount of will power it took to travel south, Gubb did so, and now found themselves traveling through a massive forest of giant mushrooms and fungus. Although it was way to bright and humid for the ice cold frog, the scenery was quite breathtaking, almost making this entire trip worth it. Gubb was wearing their green long sleeve shirt with a tan safari jacket over top, a safari hat rested atop their head, and a black net veil draped over the rim of the hat provided the Ribbinynh with shade. They had spent the last hour trekking through the wilderness, now to be in the presence of these magnificent fungal behemoths.
The mushroom they were looking for was said to be bright purple with various different colored splotches, and could sometimes grow to be larger than a tavern. What was special about this mushroom was the weird sap like substance that oozed from it. If someone consumed that ooze, they would fall into a deep, deep trance, experiencing hallucinations and visions. This was the exact mushroom Gubb was after, having a very scientific interest in the affects of the fungus. They continued to push forward, navigating the forest when out of no where a stick snapped somewhere off to their right. Gubb instantly turned and froze, not wanting to alert who, or whatever was lurking around.
