Celeste was getting used to this adventuring thing! She had heard around the block that the local farmers were having trouble with their herds. She was given the task by the local sheriff, told that anyone who could help up there, probably were. The locals were very much dependent on these livestock, given it was a fairly small village. Plus, let’s be honest. It would be in her best interest to have some more friends around the area. So here she was, in her best adventuring gear, making her way to the farmer outside the village.
The man was right about almost everyone being out here to help. Beside herself, she saw at least 3 other people. Though at least one was leaving - Apparently, this job was a bit below him. She rolled her eyes as he passed her, and the man he was speaking to looked up, seeing her and almost jumping for joy. “Oh thank goodness! Did Sheriff Vali send you?” In response, Celeste stops in her tracks and slowly nods her head.
“Goody! You’ll be able to help as well! Which is good, because I don’t think I have enough people yet…” Celeste looked around at all the other people as he spoke. “...Don’t you?” She questioned. The man followed her glances and laughed. “Oh I’m not putting you all together for just me! There’s five farmers in total, and y’all were hired to help all of us!”
“...Ah… Then yeah. This may be not enough people…” Celeste started to seem a little worried. If they wanted this to get done before dark - Before all the livestock got eaten by whatever is in the area… This wouldn’t be enough. She frowns, pondering for a minute.

The plains were always an experience to visit. Weither it be for the races, the battles, or even an attempt at relaxation, they always brought a story to share. I lightly skip through the fields of grass, Nit a head of me and watching a cow walk across the path. He signals me to hurry up, something feeling amiss to him. I quickly scurry to him and wait on his side, letting the cow notice us before inching closer to it. It started to run at us, but starts crying through it's words. "Please! Help! I'm separated from my pasture! I know you can't understand me, nut help!"1 I quickly spoke in order to allow me to approach for a full calming effect, "I can hear you, please breathe with me. We will get you home." I walk forwards and breathe hug deep breaths, this making the cow to stop and relax from its fears. I touch it's head and pulse my magic in a calm manner 2, allow it to full comprehend my response. "You can hear me, you understand!"
I flick my eyes to Nit, showing I'm talking to him. "I do underhand you, I heard you wanted to go home. I heard you were separated for you family. Was that corrected?" He nods to me and leaves us, if only to scour the rest of the area in hopes for finding the group, it didn't take him long to find the group. 1.Necklace of Animal Speech2.Calm Emotion

Celeste and this man were pondering their next moves when Keyke had strolled up with one of the cows. The man had seen, and immediately jumped. “Oh my goodness, it’s my cow! Bernard, buddy! Oh goodness, where have you been?!” Celeste was pushed aside gently as the man ran towards the cow and wrapped its arms around the bovine’s neck. Celeste looked very confused but she just shrugged, and nodded her head at Keyke. “Are you also joining in on the search? Apparently the tremors scared almost all of the livestock away…”
The man sighed, almost groaned, as he pulled back. “I don’t know how we’re ever going to get all of them back! It’s going to take forever, and it’s gonna get dark, and all of them are gonna get eaten…” He sighed. “What are we ever gonna do?”
Celeste hesitated a moment. “Well, uh… I wouldn’t worry…. So much…” Awkwardly, Celeste kinda pats his back. “Clearly this woman is pretty capable.” Celeste looks over at Keyke. “Right?” She asks, as if looking for some sort of confirmation. Almost in response, the man smiled, also looking at Keyke for some sort of confirmation. Celeste had taken a moment to kind of mouth ‘sorry’ to the new girl.

When we were simply bringing this cow back to it's home, I get brought into a conversation by this, and rarely do I think this, eerie looking girl. I turn to look at the man who was looking at me with hope, glancing at the girl in slight glances. Nit kept to the side, ready to help if it looks necessary. I give a confused glace to them, playing the ignorant child 1, as they looked to me. "What? Right is what?" I tilt my head and rock back and forth on the balls of my feet, effectively adding to the child I am. I glace around and memorize the area we wondered to. I also make sure to remember the girl's looks and slightly off color skin, if only to hold a place in my head who would throw me under the bus at a moment's notice. I let the information file away as I stop my rocking when the man finished explaining the whole saving the cows and the need for help. I pretend to contemplate as I look around the area once more. My suspense really worrying the village man, but I knew my answer from the start. "I can help! Animals love us!" I wave my doll to Nit, "Any idea which way they went?" I keep the innocent look in my face as I watch around me.

“Towards the forest! Oh, that way!” Still wrapped around the bovine’s neck, he gestured towards the area that pushed into kingswood, still mewling over his little cow buddy. Celeste seemed.. A little uncomfortable by the sight, but nonetheless, she looked over at the young girl (Question mark) again. “According to the information I got,it should be two herds of pigs, three of woolfuls, and one of cows. His cows. Obviously.” She sighs, watching the reunion with a weirded out look on her face.
“Uh.. Let’s… go.” She starts backing away from the man, turning as soon as she got far away enough. “He’s worried about it getting done fast enough… And the pay is really good! So… Yeah. Sorry. My name is Celeste.” SHe looks over to the girl, smiling softly and holding her hand out to her.
It’s a good thing it was still morning. Not early, by most means, but they did have plenty of time. It didn’t take long for them to get to Kingswood from where the valley was set up. Tracks of the animal herds were still fresh…. Not that Celeste knew how to read any of those. But the obvious paw prints of the woolfuls were hard to miss.

Making note of the number of herds to look forward too, I nod my head to him as the cows were stated. I found a pleasant joy in the sight of her face creasing, showing how little she understood the connection to animals and humans. As she backs away, I contemplate just going the other direction and leaving, but, the chance to weird her out even more was just to what was needed for dragging me into this.
At the distance we gained, she quickly rights the wrong of first interactions by addressing her name. I lock away this information as I think over a plan. I don't let my thought affect the introduction, allowing my kid like self to shine. "Pleasure to meet you!" I do a little skip as I keep moving forward, "The name's Keyke!" I raised the little doll in my arms as I twirled. "Let's go find the animals!" I swiftly ran forward, coming across a rabbit before I knelt down and spoke to it. "Hey, have you seen any herds of animals around this area?" The little rabbit give me a little nod and races off in a direction. I quickly follow it, not looking behind to see if she followed. The rabbit stops at a clearing, allowing me to see the herd of woolfuls in this area.

Celeste watches the girl. This was so unusual. Why was such a young girl out here alone? Well, not alone, she supposed, glancing over at the guy. Though, as she ran to follow the bunny, he followed quickly after. She sighed, and decided to as well. What’s the worst that could happen? She already brought back one of the animals. Maybe she knew what she was doing.
Celeste pauses as they did, catching her breath a little as she spoke. “This reminds me of a book I read when I was younger, about a little girl who ran off to follow a rabbit, who was late for a tea party…” Celeste smiles at the memory, giggling slightly. “How old are you, anyways? How old is she?” She looks over to Nit, assuming he was in charge of her. The three of them approached an outing, and as they did, Nit sort of chuckled. “Now, she is perfectly capable of telling you herself. Not everything is as it seems after all.” He gestures towards the girl as they come into a clearing
Celeste shrugs, looking over, and then seeing how many animals around. “Oh.. Huh. This is a lot of animals…”

I did a little happy dance at the quick find. I quickly bow down to the little rabbit, "See if you can find any more. If you do, please return to me!" I reach into a pocket in my dress and pull out a little treat for the rabbit. It hops to my arms and snatches the treat out of my hands. It takes a little nibble before it's ears go straight up and his back right foot does a happy series of thumps. It raises it's arm like a little salute and rushes off into the shrubbery to search for the others.
I stand straight, watching them leave before turning to the woolfuls. I approach a side, none of the woolfuls stayed still, instead moving opposite of my direction. They never stayed together on the sides, which was interesting and hinting at how the villagers used dogs to push the herd together and they follow from behind. I slowly mess with my idea for movement till I figured out a way.
I quickly rush back to the others and give my idea while practically bouncing in place. "They just need a shepherd and guide dogs to move them all at once. Seeing as how we don't have dogs..." I look at each of them in the eye before mentioning it, "Can you two stick to the sides and make sure they only go forward or turn when we need it?" I stop hopping and stand still, tilting my head and holding my hands in a pleading fashion.
