Koryn ha been visiting the city hoping to rest. He had been trying to study the earthquakes and was on his way to one of the previous locations but decided to rest for the time being and get food, that was until the rumbling began, he shaking, the ground cracking like a glass pane beneath his feet, spreading and multiplying like a disease. He did his best to remain standing as he processed what was happening before throwing open the door to the tavern before him, waving for people to leave "Get out! Get out it could collapse you need to get out of here!" he called worriedly as he ushered and helped people through the door. He helped the last person out just as it collapsed, some debris cutting his arm as he had still been by the door, quickly stumbling away at that point as he ran to try and help others and find survivors in the dusty ruins hoping some buildings survived.
This wouldn't be good if it was like the others he had studied the aftermath of so far. He prayed people were okay and worked on helping those he found, calling out to find people and ushering people out

Red has always been one to help out the locals around Moonglade, but lately her services were needed more often than usual, likely due to the earthquakes going on. They seemed to grow stronger and stronger everyday which has become a growing concern for everyone in Charon.
Today was the worst one yet; the sea elf had never witnessed so much seismic activity, but she couldn't just stand there and gawk at the tragedy unfolding before her. Red ran toward the danger and assessed the situation, glancing from one catastrophe to another. Finally, she settled upon a building that had caught fire as a result of the lava pooling menacingly out of the cracks of the earth.
It was evident that there were people trapped in here as she could hear terrified wails from within. Red unsheathed her massive weapon, the tidal blade*, and gripped its handle as hard as she could. The sea elf slashed her way through the debris and the flames in her way, the sword dousing the fires to allow her passage to the victims of this catastrophe. Once she found them, she sheathed her sword and encouraged the group to stay crouched and away from the smoke while they made their escape. On their way out, Red would douse the flames that have crept back up using her spells to both create* and manipulate* water in order to do so. It certainly wasn't enough to permanently douse the flames, but it kept them at bay long enough to allow the group to escape the building with minimal burns.
With her survivors outside of the burning building, she looked around to see where they could go. The situation on the outside had only gotten worse; it was difficult to tell whether anywhere was really safe. Then she spotted someone gathering people to safety, so she brought her group over there as well. Though their safe little refuge was quickly being encroached upon with more quakes and splits in the earth. Red's widened eyes caught the gaze of the other fellow sea-folk saving the locals. "We have to move," she suggested loudly, though she wasn't sure where to take them.

“Get to the fields for now. We need to get away from things that can fall and away from the sea… this shaking could cause a tsunami” he worried before hearing the cries of a young girl, seeing her in front of a ruble pile with a hand seeming to stick out from it. A long hit his heart as he knew the girl was alone now and seeing the bit of the building still standing beginning to shake he shot a webbed ray of frost to hold it up a bit longer, ice forming around his feet as he sped at a high speed towards the girl grabbing her out of the way right as the last bit collapsed. He held her close and ran them back to the group “quickly we need to move, those who can help the injured!” He called worriedly trying to hide his own shaking as he ushered them out of the town trying to put out the forest with the webs of frost he conjured. He listened for any signs of anyone needing help trying to help how he could but he was tiring from using his abilities as the fires raged on. Once towards the edge he pointed to a grassy hill and began leading people there after seeming it a safe spot for the moment at least

Red nodded in response to the man's suggestion. "Everyone, to the fields," bellowed the sea elf as she pointed in the general direction of the plains past the jungle. Some of the citizens looked at her worriedly, not entirely confident in the safety of the wilds, but also intent on evacuating the city.
The fire had unsurprisingly spread to the trees, but there was no other way out. Red headed to the front of the group and sheathed her sword* in order to cut through the burning vegetation in their way while also dousing the flames with her enchanted blade. It was a heavy weapon to wield and her exhaustion grew with every swing, especially with the ground shaking every so often, catching her off balance.
Occasionally, Red would pause to turn back and look at the group she was leading. They seemed scared, but they did put their trust in Red and stayed close. Peering at the back of the group, she could see her fellow adventurer putting out fires and keeping an eye on any stragglers. The sea elf sighed in relief; things were going well, or about as well as these situations can go anyway...
After what felt like an eternity of slashing through the flaming forest, she could see the bare fields ahead. Despite her exhaustion, Red picked up the pace and urged everyone toward the vast open space. The frightened people hurried to the safety of the plains and began to regroup with their families.
The adrenaline hadn't left her system yet, but the exhaustion was setting in. She looked over at her half-triton rescuer and nodded. "Well done," she started breathlessly. "What was your name?"

Koryn felt a little sweat bead down his face at the heat from the fires and using his powers a good bit as they got closer and closer to safety. Just a little further he kept reminding himself until they finally reached the clearing. He sat down and relaxed looking at those they were able to help with a small smile before looking over to the sea elf adventurer who came to speak with him "I'm Koryn, Koryn Saflen and you are?" he questioned with a small tired smile as he looked to the female "I'm glad you were there to help back there by the way that could have gone way worse without someone else to help out" he added thankfully to the other.
Koryn was always trying to see light in things and looked to the people they had helped, glad they were safe and alright. Things could have gone way worse he was quite sure but it seemed they were able to prevent the worst from happening in any case. Many people were save and reunited with their families. Once they were sure everything was settled he knew he would go back into the city to help with anything he could

Red seated herself next to her rescue companion, as she too was beginning to feel the weight of her exhaustion. "It's nice to meet you, Koryn," she started. "I'm Naru Lhúgnia, though everyone calls me Red." The sea elf beamed at Koryn, and moreso after hearing his compliment.
"I'm glad you were there too. How horrible of an event to occur." Moonglade was like a second home to Red; feelings of devastation began creeping in the more she thought about it. Though being sad didn't help anyone. The sea elf shook herself out of her miserable reverie and stood up once again.
Looking back to the forest they'd crossed from the now devastated Eclipse City, Red could still see smoke rising in the distance. The fires had not completely been extinguished and continue to consume the city.
"Let's put this out once and for all," Red stated as she slowly approached the ashen trees, crumbling into charcoal with every lick of the flames. She raised her arms up high and with a mighty clap of her hands, summoned a rain cloud[1] above the greenery. It wasn't large enough to cover the entire forest, nor hefty enough to immediately douse the flames, but it was a start. Red knew there wasn't much to salvage at this point, but she wanted to try anyway.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you! Nice to see another friend of the waters” he smiled seeing she was a sea elf. Considering he was half triton it was comforting to meet others like him as far as his connection to the water “I am quite glad we were here to help them. It’s comforting here. It is sad to see it in such a state but most of the people appear to be alright” he remarked with a bit of thought
Koryn nodded and followed her towards the edge of the trees curious as to what she had in mind before pausing seeing the rain begin to fall clearly amazed by the feet as his ears perked up “wow… that’s amazing” he remarked as he watched it move. “Should we go down and try to knock out a few more flames or leave it to the rain?” He asked his new companion wanting her opinion on it before deciding anything. He had a small smile of hope on his face and felt stronger to have someone by his side that was willing to help the people. He looked to the town below then to her to await her decision

Watching the rain drops falling down and suffocating some of the flames was very satisfying and made Red feel like everything would be OK. Looking back at her sea dwelling companion, he seemed approving of her methods. Red smiled back before responding to his question.
"I think we should check if there any more raging fires that this little rain cloud can't dissipate," stated the sea elf thoughtfully. "Though let me do one more thing before we go." Red headed back towards the city's refugees and realized she could provide them with some shelter on the spot. It wouldn't be enough to house that many people, but it would help at least a little.
Once she picked a suitable spot, Red crouched and placed her hands on the earth. Using her magic, she sensed tree roots underneath. Perfect. She visualized pulling the roots up and out of the earth, twisting and bending them at her will to form a nice earthy little house[1] with three bedrooms. The structure rose and formed itself just as she'd imagined. Surely the house could fit a handful of people in it, a few families compact together.
Once the house was in place, she quickly caught back up to Koryn. "Thank you for waiting," she said exasperated, but with a hopeful smile.

He nodded and watched her head back to the group, his eyes widening in amazement at her ability to make the hut appear. "wow...that was amazing!" he smiled happily as he had seen what she could make. "You have quite the skills!" he remarked before beginning to walk into the town looking around for any signs of fires that are out of control and such. The few he saw he put out as best as he can but it seemed as though the rain took care of most things which was quite good to see. "Doesn't look too bad surprisingly. I thought it would be worse than this but it isnt" he remarked happily and began grabbing things he could as far as food and blankets "I think the people will like this!" he remarked and even grabbed a few toys to take back to the kids. He was happy to find even the smallest ways to help others, his tail swaying a bit behind himself in a joyous sort of manner as he was filled with hope for the future of the people if they already had some resources to start out with like this. Sure it may not be a lot but it was something
