"Hmmmm...." Blue tried to think of just how long ago they'd found the armor and climbed up to the surface. It had been a while. They weren't very good at keeping track of it though. Of all the things the ooze had eaten, a calendar was not one of them. "I'm not sure? It's been a while. It wasn't that long before we met, I think."

There had definitely been someone in the window, but they seemed to be gone now. Maybe it really was a squatter. It didn't seem like he'd had any family living here. It didn't even seem like he'd lived here much since there was no furniture. If he did have family, they must live somewhere else.

"Yeah, I guess so. Should we check out more of the place, or do you think we can go?"

Astrid looks around the empty house, taking in the layers of dust everywhere. “It’s been a while since we met. I dunno how long it takes fer dust ta settle this thick.” Something about this all feels a bit weird. Maybe they should look around. “I don’t s’pose a quick look will hurt anythin’.”

Part of her wants to ask about the situation around getting the armor or at least more about it. It seems really weird to have found a knight dead in the sewer. Then again, sewers are full of killer rats – that’s what lots of amateur adventurers fight for experience. Astrid’s sure Blue has plenty of rat skeletons inside of them.

She heads upstairs, following the footprints in the dust and taking a look through all the rooms. They really are all cleaned out. Surely, someone moved out. Then again, it’s possible whoever broke in also stole all the furniture and sold it off. “I dunno if we’re gonna find anythin’,” she says.

There was nothing at all to indicate the man having any family. At least not from what little furniture was still there. There was nothing on the walls, and probably never was. There were no faded spots on the walls for any paintings or drawings.

"Yeah, I think you're right. Let's just get out of here." Blue replied as they looked around.

They walked back out the back door and the back gate. They did their best to try and return the deed to anyone who they could have, but there seemed to be no one to give it to. The house was a mess, and even if it wasn't, they didn't want a home in Sol City. The only thing to do was sell the deed off. They went off to do just that.

While Blue and Astrid walked off, they didn't notice at all the masked man hiding on the rooftop nearby, staring down at them.

"Shit, he really is still alive. Boss Lady's gonna be pissed." He muttered to himself as he slid off the roof to go report on the situation.
