The Blue Raspberry Has Escaped Containment

Appearance: Blue appears to be a normal man in a fine suit of silver metal plate armor with red and gold cloth adornments. The armor they wear is 6 feet tall and made to fit a man with a broad, muscular build. They have a cloak and hood made from the black, furred hide of a displacer beast complete with the two tentacles hanging down in the front.

After a series of events, Blue Raspberry had a new suit of armor made specially for them by Astrid. Their new armor is still made for the same broad, muscular build as their old one, but the design is altered significantly. The suit is made of smaller metal plates that lock together, allowing the ooze to open parts of the armor to let them make use of their shapeshifting capabilities without needing to remove their armor anymore. The gauntlets are also much bulkier with plates on the back of the forearm that look like stone. Their cloak is black fur with a matching tabard around their waist made of the black fur with the tentacles of the displacer beast hanging from the front. Overtop the furred cloak, around their shoulders beneath their pauldrons, is a mantle of red feathers. Their helmet has a small pair of horns on the sides to make them feel more like part of the same family as Astrid and Cantio.

Inside the armor, Blue Raspberry is a vaguely humanoid, opaque blue ooze that has taken over the suit of armor in order to maintain a humanoid shape and appearance and disguise themself while travelling throughout Charon. If they came out of the armor, they would appear as a vaguely humanoid shaped blue ooze about the same mass as a large adult male human. A small ball of sparking electricity would also be seen at their center. Their specific shape varies depending on who they are with, borrowing characteristics from their companion. They are sometimes taller or smaller to match their companion, and their limbs and torso can vary in thickness.

They are capable of taking on a humanoid form without their armor, appearing as a friendly-looking young adult man with short, blue, messily slicked back hair and a short, blue beard. They have electric blue eyes. Their ears are pointed and their canines are enlarged, unconsciously taking inspiration from their favorite animal that they can morph into, a dire wolf, or perhaps from their friend with similar features, Astrid. They have a broad, muscular build and 6 foot height to suit their armor. When occasionally in a humanoid form but not wearing the armor, they have real clothing stored inside them that they can wear, most of which is fancy outfits for formal occasions made by their adoptive father. Their eyes are fake, being just ooze that's been colored to look like eyes. Consequently, sometimes they forget to pretend to blink when they're focused or distressed.

Blue Raspberry is also capable of taking on the appearance of various animals, their outer layer of ooze changing color and texture to perfectly mimic the creatures. However, their transformations are only in size, shape, and their outermost layer. They are still ooze on the inside. They may also forget to change the color and/or texture sometimes and look like a blue version of such animals, sometimes even being obviously made from ooze.

No matter their form, they smell vaguely like raspberries with a hint of static electricity and, somehow, the color blue. Anyone who touches them or gets too close to them feels small static shocks and their hair begins to stand up slightly from the electricity.

Personality: Blue Raspberry knows very little about people and the world, but tries to be friendly and outgoing. They sometimes mimic the speech patterns and actions of whoever they are interacting with in an attempt to blend in. They are easily fooled by others. They don't understand big words and usually just try to guess a meaning for them based on what it sounds like.

They rarely think things through before they act, which can often get them into a bit of trouble. They almost move on instinct. They try to keep their identity as an ooze a secret, but it almost always ends up being revealed thanks to them doing something dumb that outs themself.

Although they try to act friendly and blend in with people, they still possess the same innate desire that all oozes have. The desire to devour and grow. They aren't fully aware of this desire, just feeling urges and unconsciously choosing to take opportunities to eat things, whether they be small objects or dead creatures, or even living things on occasion.

Their memory isn't the greatest and they often overlook small details or connections. However, they have an impeccable memory of anything they've eaten. Anything they've digested, they can recall the features and dimensions of flawlessly. Anything not digested, but just stored inside them, they have catalogued in their mind. They don't know how or why they can recall their food much better than things they've seen or heard, but at least it helps them not forget things they've got stored inside them. And they've got quite a lot in there.

As part of their wanting to become a real knight one day after being mistaken for a knight because they usually wear a full suit of armor, they sometimes try to imitate knights they've met and act chivalrous.

History: Partially developed as a new energy drink flavor in a secret facility in King's valley before being taken aboard the a ship for further development, the flavor proved to be too unnatural. It came to life during transport and breached containment, devouring some of the crew and hiding away on the ship until they reached Sol City. There, it hid in some of the cargo and then escaped into the sewers of the city.

Blue Raspberry spent some time in the sewers observing the people through the grates and listening to their conversations, slowly learning the language. Or at least enough of it to get by. With some source inside them giving them a humanoid level of intelligence, they are actually a pretty fast learner, just inexperienced and naïve.

Eventually, while in the sewers, Blue Raspberry encountered the fresh corpse of an armored Human man and took the opportunity to absorb the corpse and steal the armor and use it as a disguise so they could leave the sewers and travel above ground and outside of the city to go on various adventures and gain renown as a knight throughout Charon.

In their travels, they've eaten quite a lot of treasures and random junk they found, storing it inside them. They also have eaten a variety of animals, monsters, and people. Thankfully, they learned that eating people is wrong and that they should only do it if the person is a really big jerk and deserves it. They were taught this while masquerading as a wolf and eating bandits with Astrid.

Blue Raspberry is best friends with Astrid Stormstone after going on several adventures together with her, and she is aware of their true identity as an ooze. They live with her along with her and their adoptive father, Cantio, in a house in Dragon's Cradle.

Somehow, after achieving a fair amount of fame and gaining the recognition of important individuals, Blue not only became a member of the Mage's Guild, but worked their way up in status to become recognized as a Noble. They also later joined the Winged Expedition Force and hope to join a knight order one day.
