Blue Raspberry helping Lloyd out with some ooze research. Their first time meeting any other oozes beside themself. They're... different. Not as smart, and not so human-shaped? Weird. At least they made a couple of friends along the way.

When Blue Raspberry first met Astrid, but they were in the form of a giant wolf. They worked together to beat some bandits, several of whom Blue Raspberry ate, and saving one of them named Jonesy, allowing him to not be imprisoned with the others. They even pretended he had helped them fight the others and gave him part of the reward money, letting him restart his family blacksmithing business and avoid having to become a bandit again. Blue Raspberry departed from Astrid after sharing a huge meal with her at the local tavern and left her with a little wolf amulet to remember them by.

Blue Raspberry and Astrid meet again, but this time Blue is in the form of a knight in a suit of armor. Over the course of protecting some merchants from displacer beasts and saving their leader from the Guarundi, the displacer king, Blue's secret was revealed to Astrid. She realized they had been the wolf and that they were an ooze. Thankfully, she didn't hold a grudge against Blue for leaving her, and the two became friends. They also got some displacer beast pelts that they got made into some sweet cloaks.

A New Face

Blue Raspberry has grown in their capabilities and has learned how to mimic a humanoid appearance, letting them not be constrained to their suit of armor to appear humanoid. What else are they capable of doing?

A Taste of Spirits
The ooze wanted to know what a ghost tasted like, so went on a mission with Astrid to find some ghosts that were causing trouble in the Marsh Flats. Instead, they found a bunch of orphans and their ghostly caretaker named Melodia living in the ruins of an orphanage. They also found a bunch of treasure and a weird talking shield in the basement.

A Welcome Surprise
Astrid and Blue Raspberry escorted the orphans to a new orphanage run by Cyran in Darkveil. Absolutely nothing weird happened at all.

Blue Raspberry finally decided to make a new name for themself and began introducing themself as Wolfe. Maybe now people will stop calling their name weird whenever they meet someone new. Or maybe it'll just confuse people they've already met. Who's to say?

Blue and Astrid do some work as dignitaries to help their community in Dragon's Cradle. Rebuilding a beloved hangout spot, helping some farmers with their harvest, escorting the produce back to town, meeting the leaders of the region, and dealing with the emotional trauma of finding out the god Astrid worshipped has been dead all along. Getting shocked by an Arculia seems to have done something strange to them that may or may not be permanent, but they made Astrid feel better, so it's okay.

Astrid Stormstone

Blue Raspberry's best friend. Knows that their an ooze and is very accepting of it. They've been on the most adventures together of anyone else Blue knows and get along really well. A good influence on the ooze, she taught them not to eat people that don't deserve it and to try not to eat anything that's still alive. The first person Blue wants to show any new abilities they've figured out, like their ability to mimic a humanoid appearance or grow a second pair of arms. Astrid even invited Blue Raspberry to live in her house with her and her da, Cantio. The first person the ooze ever considered family.

Cantio

Astrid and Blue Raspberry's adoptive dad. Blue Raspberry likes them and thinks they're really nice. They admitted to Cantio that they're an ooze since they didn't want to try and hide it from him while living together in the same house, but they like him enough that they probably would have told him anyways. Super kind and caring and Blue considers them family, practically their adoptive dad just like Astrid. Gives Blue lots of cute gifts that they cherish.

Cyran

He's a nice person. Definitely knows Blue Raspberry is an ooze even though they never actually told him, but he knows. The children that Blue and Astrid escorted to Cyran's orphanage along with Blue's general weirdness kind of gave them away. Well, they're really nice, and they stuck up for Blue while they were bullied by an overbearing caravan leader during an escort mission together, so Blue likes them! They're also friends with Cyran's apprentice, Oriole. They pranked the caravan leader together as a little revenge for how mean they were.

Zarius

Blue Raspberry doesn't really know them that well, and they didn't tell him they were an ooze. He probably knows Blue isn't a normal person since they didn't chew any of their food as they ate and showed no signs of swallowing it either. He seems pretty nice though since he did treat them to a huge meal when they first met along with Astrid and Cirice. He even got them desert, but he stared at Blue for most of the meal, which was weird.

Cirice

She's nice! She healed Blue while they were fighting Harpies while they were in the form of a wolf. She now knows Blue is an ooze after a bit of an incident with them turning giant and eating a bunch of hellhounds, but she was accepting of it once she was done screaming in fear. She even read them a book called Slime of Our Lives afterward.

Iryla

Saw Blue Raspberry melt. Didn't freak out and run away. Is a friend.

Ulrich

Lightning Bros. Fought a giant bird together. Wait, does it count as a giant bird? Fought a normal sized bird while shrunk to be tiny together.

Vikram

Met him at a restaurant. Kind of weird. Gave Blue and Ulrich a ride on a flying carpet to go catch some bird and then bailed even though catching the bird was his idea in the first place? Don't really know much else about him. Cool hat.

Veliky

Scary and intimidating even for her tiny size. She owns all the robots that make Blue Raspberry uncomfortable, but she is Astrid's friend, so she can't be that bad, right? She's a lot nicer on the inside than she acts on the outside. At least she's a lot nicer to Astrid. Maybe not to Blue Raspberry. Blue doesn't really like her. She's been missing for a while now, but Blue isn't very upset about that.

Edward Ardent

Fought some cultists together. Blue revealed to them while they were in Arid Mesa that they were an ooze before fighting some more cultists. Seems pretty nice.

Plague

They like oozes! Blue Raspberry is an ooze! Perfect friends! She turns into a big rat, which is cool, but she gets kind of angry when she does it though.

Vi'ira

Fought spiders in a cave to rescue some trapped miners together. Has a fancy rapier that she let Blue eat. I mean hold. They ate it. But then they gave it back, so no problems!

Gwen

Ate dinner together, raced, fought a giant fire dragon together. Traded rings and are getting "married" or something like that?

Morrigan

Gave Blue a chocolate that tasted like fire. They're friends with Astrid, kind of, so they are also friends with Blue.

Fish

Contrary to their name, they're actually a bird.

Tsarra

Shaa
Competed in an eating contest together. He acted kinda weird.

Tatalia
Pretty sure they're a pile of spiders pretending to be a Goblin. She flashed and blinded Blue 3 times when they first met and then Blue tried to eat their bigger spider sibling or something. Bossy and annoying, but they have a truce now since she helped Blue eat a bunch of spiders she isn't friends with.

Notable NPCs

Jonesy

A Dwarven blacksmith, friend of Blue Raspberry and Astrid. Saved him from a life of banditry and gave him some money to reopen his family blacksmith in Frostgale. First met him as a wolf, but after they met again in Frostgale, Blue Raspberry revealed that they had been the wolf and that they were a shapeshifting ooze. Jonesy was pretty accepting of it, thankfully.

Russel and Robert

A married couple of fishermen. Blue and Astrid helped Russel sail his boat to go save Robert from a storm at sea. Then they all got eaten by a Charybdis. Thankfully, they all managed to get out and back to shore. Russel knows Blue is weird, but didn't judge them for it too harshly. They thanked them by offering their sailing services any time they needed it.

Melodia
Ghost mom.

Ceena
Bad person! Attacked Blue Raspberry and Astrid while they were just trying to deliver a bunch of stuff they stole to be sold for money to help the poor! A big jerk and an enemy! Ate her leg, but it was an accident.

Count Thadda, Mizzi Bells, and Dorvaan Baan
The three leaders of Dragon's Cradle. They have a good relationship with Thadda and Mizzi with Thadda even being somewhat of a mentor and the leader of their home village. Baan's a jerk though and they don't like him.

Jessie and Jeremiah
Jessie is the new mayor of Oldone, a town that used to just be full of regular humans but is now full of beastmen and werebeasts after a bit of an incident with an Ur-beast and his dad retiring. Jeremiah was turned into a weregoat and then drank a potion provided by one of Astrid's friends that turned him into a goat beastman along with a lot of the other townsfolk. It's okay though, the town is actually thriving after giving a bunch of farmers inhuman strength and the ones that chose to remain as werebeasts are kept under control.

Consumed

Brian, Nathaniel, and Thomiel

The three Gnome researchers who created Blue Raspberry in the first place. Blue regrets eating them, but they had been mindless at the time, when they'd just recently been created.

Demon Brothers
Two demons that Blue fought at the temple of the Sol Stone in Arid Mesa and devoured during the fight. There was also a third demon brother, but it managed to not meet the same fate as giving an ooze indigestion for a little while until they calmed down enough to accept they were trapped. They're good at poker though, so they get along with the Gnomes well enough.

Guarundi
The Displacer Beast King. He was a total jerk.

Origin Matter
After the Origin Matter ate Zarius, Blue didn't know any other way to get the Fellblood back than to just eat the thing, digest it, and then spit Zarius out themself. At least it worked. They'll never tell Zarius they got barfed up though.

Cursed Tree
Not the healthiest snack Blue's ever had. They also didn't know it was still kind of alive.

He's not very friendly.

Luigi
Woops. Blue wasn't expecting someone to suddenly fly into them when they opened the door, but Luigi did, and he didn't come back out.
