Edward has wandered deep into the forests of Moonglade, searching for traces of the Sol Stone. He has been at this for several days now after being told by his friend that old temples dedicated to Lunala has some old artifacts and tomes related to Solaria. He hopes to find one of these temples here. Edward continues to cast a strange spell that summons spirits of the dead to scout the path ahead of him. One of these spirits comes back telling Edward he spotted a strange man in armor who seems to be lost. The spirit also told him that not far ahead of the strange man is a camp full of red robed people. Edward goes in the direction that the spirit points to and sees a man in armor who seems to walk strangely. He shouts at the man, “Do you need help, sir? Are you also looking for the Sol Stone?”

Blue Raspberry walked through the forest, entirely lost. They had no idea where they were going, they had just chosen a direction and started walking. This may have been a bad idea. They were now deep in the forest and unsure which direction they had been going or where they had come from. Well, they would just have to keep walking. At least there was plenty of stuff on the ground they could eat. They ate fallen tree branches, pine cones, acorns, a dead squirrel. That was a delightful find.
They stumbled along, still not the greatest at walking in their armor. The ground was uneven and tree roots tripped them up on occasion. They caught themself with one hand on a tree to stop their fall after tripping on a large fallen branch. From behind they heard a man calling out to them.
“Do you need help, sir? Are you also looking for the Sol Stone?”
What's a Sol Stone? Is it around here? They didn't really know anything about such a thing. Would it be suspicious if they were in this area and not looking for it, though? Maybe it was best to just play along.
"Uh, Yes. I am looking for a Sol Stone! Are you as well?" They answered, turning toward the man.

Edward couldn’t really tell if the man is scared of him or just confused. He perks up when the man said that he is also looking for the Sol Stone. “Good! I’m not going to hurt you. I’ve been wandering around this forest looking for any traces of the Sol Stone and I don’t think I can find it alone. After all, how easy is it to find a artifact from a god, am I right? My name is Edward. What’s yours, my armored friend? Also, it seems like there are cultists here in this forest. They too might be looking for the Sol Stone. My spirits managed to find their encampment in the direction you seemed to be heading. I’m glad I managed to reach you before you would’ve encountered them. You seem to be a good fellow, I can feel that you don’t have a demonic aura around you.”

They were still entirely confused. A Sol Stone is an artifact from a god? There were cultists here also looking for it? For that matter, what's a cultist? And what did they mean their spirits found an encampment up ahead? That made no sense to the ooze. And what was a demonic aura?
"I am Blue Raspberry, friend. It's very nice to meet you." They said, giving a small bow with a fist on their chest in salute. "What do you mean your spirits found an encampment? I don't understand."
They wanted to know more about the spirits that Edward had mentioned. Was it some ability of theirs? Or did they have some kind of ally with them that was a spirit? Blue Raspberry wasn't familiar with spirits. What's a spirit?
Ironic it doesn't know anything about spirits, considering it's got the three of us in here, isn't it? Brian said to the others in the back of Blue Raspberry's mind. Nathaniel and Thomiel grunted in agreement before continuing to listen absentmindedly as they played a card game. They used some of the recently consumed acorns and pine cones in place of poker chips to add a little gambling to their game for the fun of it. Of course the currency was just for show since they had no use for money anymore.

Edward smiles at Blue Raspberry, “Well, nice to meet you Blue Raspberry. That’s a strange name. May I just call you Blue? About the spirits, I can summon spirits of animals from the afterlife, I guess. They can track and spy for me.”
As Edward was talking, a robed figure silently walks behind a tree near Edward and Blue Raspberry. The cultist was attracted to the talking and decided to follow the sound. The cultists found two strangers talking in the middle of the forest, by the camp. The cultists decides to silence these two permanently before they could find the camp. The cultist raises his dagger and throws it at Edward, who notices the whistle of the dagger flying through the air. Edward turns around to see the dagger and knocks it out of the air in a single swing. He sees the cultist trying to hide by a tree.

Blue Raspberry looked toward where the dagger had suddenly flown from at Edward. How rude, throwing a dagger at someone!
"Who's there?" they call as they start moving toward the tree that the cultist was now hidden behind.
The cultist pulled another dagger. They stepped out from behind the tree for just a moment and threw the dagger at the armored knight now approaching them before ducking back into their hiding place. However, the dagger they threw started spinning in the air before being flung off of its intended course and into a nearby bush. The cultist felt their hair start to stand on end as the air felt statically charged around them. They were confused and stood for a moment.
Blue Raspberry stepped around the tree and put a hand on the cultist's shoulder. They tried to simply speak to the man and ask them why they threw that dagger, but the man suddenly started convulsing and fell to the ground unconscious. They knelt down to look at the cultist on the ground and asked.
"Hey, are you good? Why'd you throw that dagger? Hello?"
The man stayed still on the ground, having been electrocuted by the knight's touch. Blue Raspberry started shaking them to try and awaken them, only continuing to electrocute the man more without realizing it. They stood up and looked to Edward.
"I think they fainted."

Edward looks at Blue, “Nice trick, Blue. Knocked the guy clean out. Now, let’s see what he knows.” Edward kneels by the guy’s body and slaps the guy hard in the face. After a couple seconds, the cultist wakes up in a fright and tries to grab a dagger at his side. Edward swiftly knocks the hand away from the dagger, “No more funny business. Now, why are you trying to kills and why is your group here in Moonglade? If you don’t answer properly, I will kill you.” The cultist trembles in fear and raises his arms in surrender, “I’m sorry. I’ll tell you everything, just don’t kill me. I was assigned to patrol the surrounding around the camp and heard you two talking. I wanted to kill the both of you in the name of our Lord, The Duke of the Crimson Sea since I’m just a recruit and most of the other members don’t respect me enough. The Cult of the Crimson Sea is here because our scouts found an ancient ruin that is connected to Solaria. We hoped to find holy relics of the past that we can desecrate in the Duke’s name. We set up camp near an abandoned temple of Solaria. That’s why we’re here.”

Blue Raspberry stood there, nodding along with the cultist, their arms crossed in front of them. Yes, they were sure now. They didn't understand anything this man was talking about. Who was this Duke of the Crimson Sea? Blue Raspberry didn't know anything about a crimson sea. The only sea they had even seen had been blue. And what did any of this have to do with the Sol Stone that Edward mentioned? If it was an ancient ruin and a bunch of holy relics around here instead of the Sol Stone, that would be disappointing.
"Why are you desecrating relics? Who is the Duke of the Crimson Sea?" they asked the cultist.
"I don't know! I'm still just a recruit. It makes him stronger or something. I don't know all the details yet, I'm not a high enough rank for that kind of thing." the cultist answered, their face filled with fear of the knight that had electrocuted them.
Blue Raspberry looked at Edward. If this guy really didn't know anything, then they couldn't do anything about that. They would just have to continue on. They would just let Edward decide what to do with the man and follow their lead.

Edward looks at Blue, “Well, let’s go and try to enter that temple that the cultists are guarding. We may need to fight through those cultists first though. But I think we can manage it. As for you, cultist recruit, don’t hang around with these types of people again, okay?” Edward swings his staff at the cultist, knocking the man out. Edward motions at Blue to follow him and they go to find the cultist camp. They reach a large glade in which around six cultists are guarding the entrance to a large temple. They seem to be on the look out for any intruders. Edward pulls out two statues of gargoyles, “I’m going to use my gargoyles to distract those guards and you can charge in to attack them while they are distracted.” Edward steps out of the foliage and catches the guards attention. They notice Edward and run at him. Edward throws the Gargoyles at them and they grow into full sized gargoyles who attack the cultist guards. The gargoyles claw at two of the cultists and Edward charges at them.

Edward sees that Blue has taken on the other half of the cultists and nods in approval. Edward orders the gargoyle to incapacitate or knock out the other two cultists. Edward then charges at a sword wielding cultist and takes several swings of his staff to hit the cultist multiple times on various limbs. Edward slaps the cultists sword hand away, then he hits the cultist on his side, and he finally hits the cultist in the head and smashes the man to the ground. The gargoyles, in the meantime, grabs one of the cultists and lifts them thirty feet into the air before dropping the cultist down. Edward could hear the cultist’s legs break and winces in pain. The other gargoyle claws at the other cultist, which sends the cultist sprawling to the ground unconscious. As they where finishing the fight, Edward hears the whistle of a arrow and sees a cultist wielding a bow shoot an arrow straight at him. Edward was caught off guard and gets hit in the right shoulder.

As half of the six cultists engage the gargoyles, Blue Raspberry makes their way to behind the group to pincer them. As they emerge from the bushes, one of the cultists wielding a crossbow notices them and turns to fire at the armored knight now approaching them, warning the other two near them with a shout.
Three of the cultists now face Edward and his two gargoyles while three face Blue Raspberry. The crossbowman fires and like the other cultist's throwing knife, the projectile buzzes and shakes in the air before being flung away, missing the knight completely. The crossbowman lowers his weapon in confusion, but the other two cultists simply take this as their sign to take action. One wields a longsword while the other wields a mace. They both charge at Blue Raspberry, weapons drawn.
The crossbowman reloads his weapon, not understanding why their bolt would fly off course in such an unnatural way. They try to fire on the knight again as their comrades run toward him, but the bolt once again is flung away by some mysterious force. They shake their head and reload. If they can't shoot this knight, then they might as well try shooting at the man with the gargoyles. They turn around and head toward the other side to help the other three cultists, leaving the other two to face the knight.

The two cultists rush at Blue Raspberry who takes a fighting stance as sparks stark to arc between the different pieces of their armor. One of the cultists notices the sparks and slows down cautiously, but the other doesn't and closes the distance. They raise their sword into the air to swing it down at the knight, but an arc of electricity shoots off of them and hits the cultist, stunning them and making their arms go numb.
Blue Raspberry takes the opportunity and punches the man in the stomach, further shocking the man. Their teeth clench and they let out a pained groan before collapsing to the ground, twitching. The knight looks to the man wielding a mace, who had watched the exchange and was now more hesitant to get close to them. He took a few steps backward, holding his mace at his side.
Blue Raspberry saw this. The man would definitely be faster than the ooze in armor who was still not even fully proficient in walking. They bent down and picked up the other cultist's sword. They also held a hand behind their back. Unseen by the cultists, blue ooze began to squeeze out of the openings in the gauntlet and form into a dagger, changing color and opacity to mimic the metal. It looked completely realistic, but if one touched it it would feel squishy and gelatinous.
They pulled the dagger from behind their back and held it at the ready before started to walk quickly toward the cultist. The man looked behind him to see the battle of the other four wasn't going very well either. He looked back to the knight that was now approaching him menacingly and prepared themself to attack.

Edward sees the crossbow wielding cultist, summons a bolt of light into the palm of his hand, and throws it at the cultist. The bolt grows larger as it flies to through the air and nails the cultist in the chest. The cultist try to shoot at Edward again despite the spear sized bolt sticking from his chest but Edward rushes at him and clothesline the cultist with his staff. The cultist collapses to the ground and Edward goes to Blue Raspberry after seeing that he seems to be having a hard time. The mace wielding cultist takes a swing at Blue, who dodged the blow with strange movements. Edward comes up behind the cultist and swings hard at their head, causing them to be disorientated. The mace wielding cultist tries to turn around to face Edward but Edward swings his staff downward and smashes the cultist to the ground. The gargoyle are gathering rope from the camp around them and tying up the cultists. Edward turns to Blue, “Well, looks like we can go into the temple now. Let’s see if we can find anything about the Sol Stone.”

With the cultists tied up, Blue Raspberry gave Edward a thumbs-up. Or they tried to before realizing they were holding the sword. They put the dagger behind their back again and reabsorbed the ooze it was made from. They no longer needed it.
"Yes, let's go." they said, letting Edward walk past them toward the temple.
As they entered the ruined temple, the two walked into a stone room. Edward looked around the room with Blue Raspberry behind him, lowering the stolen sword into the opening at the top of their cuirass to eat it. The room had a single stone tablet in the middle of the room with words carved into it. The ooze couldn't read it, but something in the back of their mind started translating it for them.
"It is a riddle about a location, but I can't read it." they said, turning to Edward with their hands on their hips.
They began to walk around the chamber and see wat else there was to find. On one side of the room they found an open doorway that lead to a small side chamber. Inside the chamber was a red circle on the floor with candles along it. This must be where they intended to sacrifice people to the Duke of the Crimson Sea. Thankfully they must not have been all that competent a cult as there were no human bodies around. Only a few animals they must have managed to catch, somehow. It didn't matter that much to the ooze who began to "clean up" the animal corpses piled by the walls.

Edward sees the red circle and immediately goes over to rub out the circle. After rubbing it out, he sees the symbol of Solaria that was covered by the circle. He summons a bluish white mist from his hands that coalesce into the form of a spirit wolf. Edward telepathically commands the wolf to see if there is any secret compartments underneath this symbol. It dives beneath the floor for several moments before coming back up and nods its head at Edward. “I summoned a spirit to see if there is anything underneath the floor. Looks like it found something.” Edward picks his staff up and begins to hit the floor with ferocity. After cracking the floor, He can see a small box in the center of the cracked sun symbol and picks it up. He gives it to Blue, “Want to open it?”
