Everything as per usual was going absolutely swimmingly in Aagha's little world. This time, Aagha, Boromir, and Cane were all in the crescent isles. The architecture, the weather, and even the inhabitants of this place were all absolutely fantastic. The three of them hadn't felt more welcome by a place in quite some time and it had caused quite the boost of morale. Even cane, who was normally just obnoxious, was enjoying himself.
"You know Aagha! If any of these harpies are attractive, you could probably take one home! It would be the perfect chance for you to bring home a wife!" Boromir and Aagha both stopped dead in their tracks to stare blankly at Cane. The wolf was letting loose a fit of laughter, though this one had him actually rolling about. "You just don't seem the type to have any luck with the normal ladies, but you've managed to wrangle Boromir and I fine, so I'm sure if it was a beast lady you'd do alright!" This finally brought a bit of a chuckle out of Boromir and for some reason, even though Aagha was being poked fun at, he couldn't help but laugh too. Cane did have a point. His luck with normal people wasn't great. He just didn't care much for them.
They picked up the pace once again heading into the beach. After some time, the sounds of birds, and shouting could be heard in the distance. Aagha had been told he wasn't the only one participating in this job, but it didn't seem like the other had made their way here yet. "Boromir! Cane! Go!" Aagha slid himself down from Boromir and they both took off in order to begin engaging the harpies. He himself was running to catch up, but the beasts were far quicker.

Mariana's flight to the Crescent Isles was one of the longest Octavia had taken without stops. It was no small task, but the gryphon had grown far stronger in their time together and Mariana had packed lightly. A kind updraft carried them most of the way, minimizing the effort needed to stay aloft. Upon reaching the coast she noticed a pack of birds, or something resembling birds, harassing people on the beach. Getting closer she finally made out the culprit, harpies. She gave Octavia a rub behind the ears and drew her halberd from the harness.
"I hate to ask for more effort Octavia, but it looks like we can't rest yet." She truly hated to push Octavia, but her voice showed clear excitement at the chance for a fight.
The gryphon simply picked up speed at the request, its muscles tightening in anticipation of a fight and the meal that would follow. The harpies were focused on the people on the beach who fought back with simple weapons, trying to stay alive rather than actually doing any damage. From the rocks above the beach she saw a couple of animals rush into the fray followed by a rather quaint looking youth, probably a villager and his dogs, yet they were very large for dogs...
Mariana gave a tug on the reins, a practiced signal, and Octavia steadied her flight. Mariana stood up from the saddle into a wind stance as they approached the harpies from above. With a leap from the saddle she fell through the air towards one of the harpies like a javelin. The beast turned in time to let out a screech before the halberd impacted it in a powerful down swing, sending the beast tumbling down with a massive wound. In the same moment Octavia had swooped down below the two. With a flap of her powerful wings the gryphon charge into the wounded harpy and chomped into it with her massive beak. The maneuver placed her directly below Mariana who grabbed the reins and pulled herself back into the saddle.
"Beautiful! Just like we practiced!" Mariana shouted gleefully as the adrenaline of battle filled her.
The rest of the harpies now noticed a new aerial combatant had entered the fray along with a pack of beasts. It would be bloody chaos from here. Wonderful, there would be so much excitement to be had.

Aagha watched the Gryphon and Mariana in awe. That was true synchronicity between master and beast. That was the life goal he had in mind for himself, Boromir, and Cane. He puled two fingers to his lips and whistled now as loud as he could. The noise was intended to pull his animal's attention, but it hadn't just pulled theirs. He had managed to pull the attention of the remaining harpies too. He drew his bow quickly and went to knock an arrow and that was when he was reminded he didn't have any. He gulped slightly and then began to run as he was chased about.
"Well... at least.. he's keeping the caravan safe I guess...?" Cane was simply just staring at Aagha being chased before hearing a second whistle. "Alright! Alright! I'm coming!" With that, Cane bolted toward Aagha as a harpie swooped down, but Aagha managed to roll forward and avoid the first harpy, only to be caught a bit off guard by a second as he tried to stand back up. Luckily he had managed to use his bow to block the majority of the damage.
"How reckless can you be Aagha?!" Now it was Boromir's turn to abandon the harpie he had incapacitated. He rushed to be at Aagha's side with Cane, though he would be a bit behind the wolf. The boy had most certainly made a poor decision this time. This was how the story seemed to go with Aagha more often than not.

Octavia bit down on the harpy in her beak with a loud snap, before dropping the very dead creature onto the sand below. Mariana and Octavia twisted through the air as a few of the harpies seemed to run from her, only coming by to strike at Octavia's tell or throw stones at Mariana from safe distances. It was infuriating. Being on a large creature had its advantages and its disadvantages, Agility was not one of them.
The embarrassment faded as a whistle sounded from the ground. The man who'd arrived earlier was being harassed by one of the harpies and had called out to his pets for protection. The whole gang of harpies had taken that call as a sign of leadership and now focused their attention on him. Mariana quickly guided Octavia towards him with her halberd at the ready.
"Let's try something new, Octavia!" Mariana was thrilled at the chance to experiment with combat maneuvers she'd dreamed of attempting.
The duo flew in from above, trying to avoid notice of the harpies. Once they'd gotten closer Octavia began a rapid descent, diving from above to attack at high speeds. One of the harpies was about to strike the man from above using a similar tactic. Before it could attack Octavia flapped her wings with all of her might just above the group of harpies. The action sent a large gush of wind into them, forcing the harpies to either tumble in flight or slam into the ground.
Octavia landed claws first on one of the harpies, sinking her beak into it soon after and snapping its neck. Mariana leapt from the saddle and span her halberd in a wide arc, fending off two of the grounded harpies. She now stood behind the young man as his pets approached from the opposite direction. She hoped protecting him would give him a chance to use the bow to pick off the flying cretans.

Aagha couldn't possibly be more thankful for the presence of the other two. Cane and Boromir weren't quite caught up to him yet and he was about to be toast. The disruption of the harpies was enough to save Aagha's skin. He quickly swung his bow into the head of one of the harpies as hard as he could manage over and over until it was incapacitated. It led to Aagha yet again needing a new bow, but he could deal with that problem later.
"For Ginma's sake you idiot! You could've gotten yourself slaughtered like a lamb if it weren't for those two!" With that, Cane dove into one of the harpies that had been grounded and began to shred it apart with his teeth and claws. Cane did not give the Harpie a moment to rest. He clawed at the harpies wings making sure to keep it ground bound then snapped at it's arms as it protected itself and finally its neck.
Boromir didn't leave time for words, the massive dawn Lion's glow not even dimmed by the blood soak from the previous harpie it had made a meal of. The last one on the ground was caught of guard by the incoming lion, though he grabbed it and simply kept running dragging it along the shell littered beach and occasionally lifting it up in his maw before slamming it back to the ground once more.
Aagha had to will himself to look away from the Lion as he went to town. "I know you're doing it for my sake, but jeeze.. I see you've done this before."
