Well, Hylltywyll thought everything he said made perfect sense. How she didn't know how to take his advice or whether or not it would work wasn't something he could decide. Magic solved most of his problems. How was he supposed to know anything about a pain he'd never felt before? People leaving? That didn't sound like something that should cause pain, but here Tsarra was moping about exactly that. He didn't know what she could do with herself.
Hylltywyll shrugged and looked over at the tourists fleeing for their lives.
"Well, you probably shouldn't become a tour guide."
He looked back at Tsarra and crossed his arms. He knew one thing she probably wasn't meant to do with herself, but that wasn't an answer for what she should do. What was he supposed to say? Tell her to just get over it? Figure it out? Those didn't seem like they'd help much, even if they were what she should do. He looked down at the eel hound splayed across her lap, its tongue flopped out right onto one of its vacantly staring eyes. What did she call it? Slimy?
"What about Slimy? He's not people. He probably won't leave you. Just... take care of him or something."
Yeah, that was some solid, well said advice.

Tsarra wipes her face on her sleeve. "Ugh, I hate cryin'."
To say the fish woman is a mess would be an understatement. But that's hardly anything new. There's never really been a time when she wasn't a disaster in one way or another.
That said, she's trying her best to listen to Hyll and his words of…wisdom? Encouragement? They definitely are words, and they do help in a way.
"Aye...yer right...Slimy's a good guppy."
She gives the eelhound a slappy pat on the belly which barely gets any reaction out of the creature.
After a few moments she's able to regain some composure. Well, whatever composure she had to begin with and she looks to Hyll.
“Thanks. Ye didn't ‘ave to put up with me an’ all my sorry sobbin’.”
Tsarra hadn't been expecting to run until Hyll here. Hell's, she definitely thought he'd washed his tiny hands of her after their last adventure. Even though he'd hurt her, she didn't hold it against the little fella. A rare thing for her given her soured feelings towards her old crew who left her high and dry.
Coming to terms with the fact that people keep leaving her is all her own fault hasn't been easy and she still has a long way to go to really treat people better in general. She knows she hasn't earned anyone's kindness, time, or energy. So having Hyll try, even a little, to help her is something special.
She lets out a long sigh.
“Means a lot that yer ‘ere.”
