Walking across the scarred terrain in and around the Drakolt Crater brought back a lot of memories, thoughts of trials and tribulations from several adventures. It wasn't easy to find the path she'd taken on her second excursion, having to work from the devastated ruins back towards the coast. Taki had taken this solemn sojourn into the Ashlands to visit the site where she lost Kurobe last year, her faithful Woolful companion. A chasm in the volcanic rock collapsed below their feet, and Kurobe's quick thinking had saved the rest of their group.
Much of the terrain had changed in the wake of the Drakolt Incident, and what was once a small collapsed chasm had turned into a massive gorge of jagged rocks and crumbling ledges. Taki herself walked by the area without recognizing it the first time, doubling back after reaching a landmark that hadn't been disturbed. She stared down into the newly opened crevasse, recalling the chasm as she'd first seen it. It was nearly three times as wide now, and many times longer. Jutting up from the southern end was a large fragment of Drakolt itself, scarred and pitted from the boiling magma within it's core.
When she finally found a suitable place, Taki knelt against the warm, ash grey earth and brought her hands together. It had been a long and strenuous year, and change had brought both bounty and ruin across the whole of Charon. She recalled it all, from finding her wily floof of a companion to the days before taking this trip. Reflecting on the lessons, on the choices she made and their impact on the world, she entered a trance and tried her best to be a peaceful presence. A soft, misty glow surrounded her body while she communed with the spirits of this place, and gave thanks to the deeds of her fallen companion.

Description: For some reason there has been an increase in Fae sightings across all of Charon over the last month, which has also increased the amount of people who have turned their attention to them; especially those trying to capture the mystical Fae and sell them on the black market. While traveling through Charon it is not rare to hear about Fae captures or even come across one yourself. Opinions have been split when it comes to these unknown beings as some think they are natural and should be left alone, while others see their increase as a bad thing, and believe them to be enemies.
You have encountered one such scenario. You have just learned of a recent capture of a Fae being sold or have even stumbled upon one as it is in the process of being captured by others. What you decide to do is up to you. Do you help the poachers or fight them off, do you take the Fae for yourself and try to sell it, or do you free it back into the wild? How you encounter it and what you do is totally up to you.
