Out for a drink, Sarne and Leandros were having some drinks down in the city square Sol city. With Hearth Day festivities in full swing. Some of the best ale booths were there and women too as the two checked out the women coming by checking out the prospects that might come up or not in their case it seemed. What is a noble to do? save the world or at least the city. Something told Sarne to move to the side as Chaos erupted. At first, it was no big deal small animals were causing problems at the festivities. Then without warning three bulls showed up, massive bulls. They started to run threw the Sol city square hitting booths. Wood, food, and people started to fly everywhere. One bull just missing Sarne and Leandros. Sarne missed nothing saw that something was off. The Bulls were weird colors like bright red with glowing blue eyes. Another Bull was Dark green with yellow eyes. The other one that just missed Sarne and Leandros was Bule with red eyes. As it went by it hit Sarne's stein full of Ale it flew and smashed on the ground parts of it and the Ale splattered everywhere. People were screaming in pain and afraid. There was no end to the destruction delivered by the Bulls. Sarne was angered by this. Not so much the Bulls destroying the Sol city square. His ale as he looked at it on the ground. "THAT IS IT!" Yelled Sarne looking angrily at the Bulls. "Time to make some roast beef!" shouted Sarne. he was furious with the Bulls shenanigans.

Leandros did none of the checking out of women given the fact that he was a happily married man. He had intended to spend some time with Apogee during the Hearth Day activities, but on this particular day she wasn't feeling up to it given that she was with child. At the very least, Leandros would chaperone Theo as they walked the city.
Running into Sarne was a pleasant, but unexpected addition to the day. One that Leandros wasn't going to turn away. If it was carousing the other noble meant to do, then Theo would make a decent wingman of sorts. The squire would be leagues better than Leandros anyways, it was a miracle he managed to find the wife that he did.
The bulls charing through the city certainly wasn't something he expected today.
"Hm? I don't remember a running of the bulls as a part of Hearth's Day before...nor painted bulls." He gives a gentle laugh as they jostle past them. A few do bump into the knight, but he is barely moved by it as they innocently tink off the armor.
"I don't believe the guards will look too kindly on a public slaughter of bulls. Perhaps they got loose from a rancher?" The halfling had jumped onto the fountain to get out of the bulls way and avoid a trampling.
"A good thought Theo. Or a very ill thought out celebration before the feast."

Trying to get Leandros to look at women was a lost cause but Sarne respected Leandro's devotion. Giving a concerned look to Leandros and Theo. "Running of the bulls? Since when do Bulls have glowing eyes? They were not painted or you would have paint on you. Would you not?" Points out Sarne. Thinking about Leandro's wife. Sarne was glad she was not here right now. Sarne was tempted to go with Leandros to see her. but now things were going bad and Chaos was getting worse.
Then with a sparkle of light one of the bulls turned into Dovenger A medium-sized flightless omnivore that scavenges The Dovenger is quick and agile, with sharp claws and a beak meant for tearing into meat. As the city guards arrive the first city guard gets his chest ripped open he screams and falls to the ground. The crowd is frightened and starts to stampede out of the city square.
The other two Bulls change as well. A giant Spider appears with a sparkle of light. The last Bull turned into a Rune Bear also attacking people and city guards.
Sarne looked at Leandros and Theo "Tell me that is normal? Something is wrong here and whatever they are they are not what they seem," said Sarne as he dodged some wood flying by.

Honestly, married or not, Leandros was a poor companion for carousing. He was never one that found much interest in those types of activities much to the chagrin of his peers. The good knight was no puritan nor would he discourage others if that's what they found interest in, but he wouldn't participate.
As they watch the bulls run, he remains relatively unbothered. "They aren't sent out with fresh paint, but the rest of this is a little harder to explain."
He sighs softly as it all devolves into chaos, as it always seems to. Can Charon just go a season without the world devolving into whatever the latest cataclysm is? He was starting to worry if bringing a child into the world was it is would make sense, but the more immediate concerns come to the forefront of his mind.
Dull golden light flashes from his hand as the injured guards feel their wounds heal[1,2], "Theo, go find Gilder and any guard captains you can, focus on crowd control, get the people out of the square and corral the beasts back towards this way."
"On it!" Theo has a much more confident air about him as he's matured. The halfling jumps down from the fountain and runs off. He manages to slide under the legs of the giant spider and pop up on the other side.
"Be you beast or some other creature, matters little. You will face the Lion of the Landing.!" Leandros levels his halberd at the rune bear[3] as it turns to face him, more than happy to find another target. The guard under its paw crawls to his feet and escapes, thankful for his life.

The Rune Bear roars at Leandros turning to face the knight. Its unnatural glowing eyes staring at him. [1] Its runes flash with red light. The bear spews out a medium-range cone of flames from its mouth in a small area. The flames are scorching and burn most things caught inside the fire including Leandros. The spider goes around to find the halfling Theo. Looking to eat Theo if it finds him. [2] it starts to pound the ground with its eight legs. Creating shock waves to the ground cracks in the immediate area. The ground beneath their feet shakes and vibrates, making it hard to stand or keep your balance. These shakes break apart the earth like stones, rocks, and bricks. Everyone standing close to the Spider they found themselves getting knocked over or forced to leave the area. Srane saw the challenge Leandros gave the bear. Sarne changed in an instant. [3] Sarne's blond hair changes to silver color shining like metal. His complexion turns a tan-colored with lustrous skin tone. Sarne's eyes change to a piercing gold. A pair of feathery angelic wings grow from his back and now is covered in a gold hue. With a flap of his wing, Sarne was in the air. His own his feet smoking some from the flame. The bear almost got Srane with its flame. [4] Sarne stretched out his hand and his sword appeared in it. A white gold and silver long sword. The blade fired out a beam of pure light in a straight line. The beams struck the Dovenger Dealing a large amount of light damage. The Dovenger's feather started to burn in flames. Embers started to rise from the hole the beam made. The beam passes through the Dovenger and touches a city guard healing surface-level wounds. Dovenger screams in pain.

The tremors slow the halfling down which lets the spider catch up. Baring its fangs, it readies to strike down before catching an arrow in the abdomen. Gilder grabs the halfling by the shoulder and pulls him to his feet.
"Oh good, you're here, how did you find us so fast?"
"You're not exactly being subtle with whatever the hell is happening here."
"No idea, there some people around then these bulls came in and the bulls turned into this stuff. It's been a weird morning."
"Clearly."
The spider hisses and tries to stumble away now that it doesn't have the advantage. Theo isn't about to let that happen and neither is Gilder. An arrow flies past its face to reel it back as Theo attacks the back legs to slow it down.
Leandros is quick to get his shield around to cut the fire in half around him. When the flames clear, he stabs forward with his halberd to cut into the rune bear. It roars in pain, but surges forward ignoring the damage. The knight blocks another swing with his halberd, pushing the bear back and off of him.
There is something in te eyes of the bear that is curious....it's almost like it is sizing him up. The bear isn't just a feral animal acting on instinct...the shapeshifting was already odd. What type of creatures were these?

Dovenger moves to the left trying to get out of the way of Sarne's sword running at incredible speed trying to get behind Sarne. Jumping up on a wall leaping into the air trying to take a bite out of Sarne. [1] flipping in mid-air with a flick of his wings. Sarne moves his shield and the Dovenger slams into it taking some damage from the shield spike on it. More Dovenger's feathers scatter after the impact. With a twist, the Dovenger's clawed feet came around as it tumbled in the air. One of its feet hit [2] Sarne in the leg cutting into Sarne's armor three marks from the claws. It was like a can opener left by the attack from the Dovenger's claws. [3] This left Sarne his chance to counterattack with his sword Sarne dove with the falling Dovenger his attacks were almost too fast to see [4] With speed and precision delivering quick, deep incisions in vulnerable spots. the whirlwind of attacks that dealt heavy damage. Within the time it took to blink, Sarne delivered three attacks. Sarne uses his speed and agility to disengage from the enemy Dovenger before it can react. Sarne landed near it as the Dovenger hit the ground with a thud. feathers and blood flew everywhere as Dovenger tried to stand. The Spider was now tuning again to face the Gilder and Theo [5] spiting a white sticky web at them holding them in place. Then a flash of gold light hit the Spider as an arrow of light stuck out of its cephalothorax of the spider. Vamir one of Sarne's subordinates was standing on a wall getting ready to fier another arrow of light.
The bear turned something it saw to the side as a Dwarf came from nowhere and attacked the Rune Bear with fighting knives to the back leg. It was Nordic and Naesala Sarne's other subordinates attacking the back legs of the Rune Bear. The Rune Bear was bleeding badly from Leandro's attack limping some as it turned.

Theo brings his shield up to block the webs and does a quick twist to get a better hold on the web before pulling it forward. He can't over turn it like Leandros could, but the shift is enough to pull it off balance a moment. The light hits into it, quickly fired by a burning arrow from Gilder that embeds itself deep into the neck area.
The halfling cuts free the webbing and discards the shield as they are useless now. He charges in and cuts out the left legs of the spider with his sword. The beast teeters and wobbles onto its side, leaving the underbelly exposed for the others to pincushion the spider until it stops moving.
An angry roar shakes the earth around the rune bear as it finds itself harried on both sides. There is an urge to attack the dwarf, but the mark continues to draw its attention towards Leandros. It pulls up on to its hind legs to bring itself down on the Lion, blocked or not a full grown bear is going to hurt.
Leandros waits a beat, letting the bear commit to the attack before moving. As the bear falls, he shifts to the side letting one paw just glance off the shield. His halberd would swing up and clear through the shoulder off the bear causing it to hit the ground with one fewer limbs.[1]
He flourishes his blade to flick the blood away as he looks over the scene.
"Pardon my language, but what in the hells happened?"

The Dovenger made a piercing shrill sound it was not normal. The Spider and Rune bear did the same answering the Dovenger. They started to glow in a bright light blinding everyone looking at them felt their eyes burn. It felt like looking at the sun and heat could be felt radiating from them. A pulse came from them the ring of light passing threw everything knocking everything over. Sarne barely stayed on his feet as the light passed.
The light subsided and the three animals were now humanoid beings of light hovering their wings slightly moving. They touched their injuries healing them almost instantly. They gave another deafening piercing shrill. They appear to be fae with their different bodies and examples of nature. They had many colors green, brown some red and yellow.
One of them floated down some but still out of reach of weapons. The vice was high-pitched annoying as the Fae spoke. "I will remember you all. We will return to get retribution on all of you. You will rue the this day all of you attacked us I will find new ways to curse you all I will make it so you will wish we have never met." The Fae said this with a scowl on its face. The fae gave one last look. They shot up into the sky disappearing into the clouds.
Sarne looked over to Leandros. "What just happened? Never seen something like this before," commented Sarne looking now to people he could help.

"And upon your return you will meet the same resistance you did today." Leandros tucks his halbed away as he helps up some of the townsfolk who were cowering. He doesn't even turn to look at the fey as they leave.
Healing is given to those who need it, even for something as minor as a scraped elbow. Theo and Gilder join the efforts as well, though thankfully there was little to do given how quickly they were able to respond. It helped having them all in the same area.
"Strange happenings all across Charon it seems. No rest for the weary...just when I no longer feel the stiffness from the battle with Vulcadreus, more things seem to happen." He sighs softly as he runs a hand through his hair.
"Let us just hope there isn't another mad god to fight at the end of all of this."

Looking at Leandros "My friend, I do not think this is the end of the problems Sir Leandros. I believe with everything things going on our two worlds Land of Wonder and the Land of Charon will collide." Sarne pauses as he walks to a group of people light starts to pulsate from Sarne. The people around their injuries have light from the wounds as they heal. Sarne watched for a moment. "Sir Leandros, if that day comes we will need every one of us to help keep things in order. To protect the people we love and care for," said Sarne his tone almost gloomy.
Sarne smiled "Know my friend. If that day comes I will stand beside you no matter what happens. I am not sure but nothing like that has happened for thousands of years and I hope that it will be thousands of years before it does happen again," remarked Sarne healing someone else by laying his hand on their shoulder. "As for fighting another god. I hope not. We just saw what three could do in a short time. Now think of 10 or 20 Fae, we will need everyone ready for something like that. Maybe we need to get the Fighters Guild involved. So if more appear we can take care of them." remarked Sarne looking at Leandros.
Sarne's subordinates Nordic, Naesala, and Vamir helped Leandro's people together they help the people and to help clear the rubble and wood from the town square. this was going to take a while sarne was not worried He knew that together they would have no problem helping out the townspeople.
