Crafting Attempt #1 - The Black Needle

The Black Needle

This ebony dagger is shaped like a large needle with a hilt beneath the eye, and its edge gleams with a violet like. It is useless for slashing but effective at stabs and thrusts. Thrusts made with the black needle will produce a violet blast of necrotic energy that shoots out to the length of a spear before dissipating, allowing the wielder to deal dark damage at a small distance. In addition, the wielder can "weave" shadows with the Black Needle's point, turning any shadow touched by the needle into into a tangible thing that can be interacted with so long as the Black Needle is attached. For example, you could weave the dagger into a shadow of a pile of rope to use the rope's shadow as if it were a real, tangible thing.

Using my rewards from the Spiders, Again quest to do this! +2 to the roll due to Tradesfolk. Looking for an 11+!

10+2 = 12 = a miss I believe! It's less than the target goal of 13, which I needed an 11+ on the die for. Materials lost.
