Gender: Male
Age: 37
Race: Half-Orc
Nationality: Born at the Dragon’s Cradle
Appearance: Standing at 5”11, a slightly pudgy and slightly muscular green half orc. A couple of scars are found around the forearms, the hands being calloused from use. Sometimes in a simple brown tunic, other times in his work clothes: A button-shirt, dress pants, and apron, Dave gives off a warm vibe. His face holds brown eyes and greying short brown hair, two small tusks stick out from his jaw.
Personality: A simple, kind soul. Understanding, firm and strict when needed, hard worker, Dave’s overall qualities are nothing too special.
History: “Alex, do I really have to do this?… Its for a project? Well, I suppose I can’t say no to that. Lets be hasteful though, my shift starts in an hour and its Friday. Oh! Fetch the clock! We’ll time myself!” Growing up in the mountains, the half-orc, named Steelhound at the time, worked as one of the many tribe’s hunters. A strong lad he was, being able to shatter the likes of steel in his prime, hence the name. It wasn’t a particularly interesting life, but not one he hated. He hunted, helped feed his many brothers and sisters, trained with father, took care of mother, sometimes spending hours in a bar with friends. As time flew by, he eventually found himself a loving wife, the aptly named Flame Charmer, and a grand opportunity. With the earthquakes and rumbling from a one, god of rebirth, many of the tribe members had made the decision to move, Steelhound included. It saddened his family, them wanting to stay at their place of culture. Though with a kid on the way, the half-orc knew to stay in the mountains would only prove dangerous. With goodbyes and a river of tears, Steelhound and Flame Charmer left.
The couple, with luck and solars provided by the family, were able to find a cozy place within the capital of Charon: Sol City. There did his pride and joy came to be, Alex Ungaro, who by some chance managed to only capture the human genes of the two. Steelhound personally found it hilarious as his wife begrudgingly gave Alex his human name. The half-orc, wanting to fit with his son, and partially annoy his wife, opted to change his name to be human too. Besides, Dave was less scary than Steelhound.
A good few years later, Dave was a single father. Flame Charmer had passed away due to poor health and sickness. It wounded the two, but even without her, the two pushed on. The half-orc took on a few odd jobs: A carpenter, wagon repairer, fisherman, before he finally settled on a passion he and his son enjoyed: Working at the bakery. He does his best where he’s at, hoping to send Alex to the Academy in light of his most recent interest in magic. Dave didn’t really understand it but was supportive nonetheless. After all, if it made his boy happy, what does he have to lose?
