It was a bleak day today. Rain was drizzling down onto the people working, but few seemed to mind. Most chattered cheerily with each other, working on multiple things. Digging pathways, moving things from one place to another, or maybe helping construct something. Everyone who wanted a job was given something to do. Even Apple, who hardly looked like they could carry a brick.
They couldn't, but there was still messages that could be delivered. Apple waited for a message needed to be given out, and then took it to give to the specified group. Then they got one to give back to the people who gave them the message, and back and forth like that. It was honestly fun for them, trying to see how quickly they could get the messages to everyone by timing themselves in their head.
Apple wasn't minding the rain as they ran around, occasionally slipping slightly in the mud but getting back up quickly. Messages continued to be transferred under the rain, being taken from here to there. It was enjoyable to run in the rain, gliding through the streets that were still under construction.
Their latest message was to tell a group to come grab some extra supplies that had just arrived. Anyone who they could spare would be needed, for it was a large load. Apple ran up to the first person they saw in the group and tapped on their arm. "Excuse me. There's some supplies needed to be carried around." They stated, some mud splattered on their face from tripping on it while running.
