Javal’s figure did not make a sound, not a single word could be heard not a smile, not a grin just a plain bored look as he breathed in and out smoke through his mouth. Javal just stood by stone-faced unimpressed as Flint released his barrage of punches over him destroying his faulds, and gauntlets leaving his arms in full display. His arms now have bright red markings on them the same ones that match his face. Flint’s dropkick managed to break off his helmet as his head clanged with the reverb of the impact before shaking it off.
He whispers a single, “Boring”, the voice eerily sounding like Javal but something about it was off, it was too cold too formal to mean saying in comparison to the fellblood’s usual chipper tone. He fakes a yawn his hand still over his blade as he finishes analyzing Flint’s movements.
He sprints forward as fast as he can raising his sword with his left hand over his head looking like he was about to bring it down on Flint. In reality that was a feint and if Flint went to dodge or block the impact Javal would tap the man in the chest causing him to float (1. Fairy Dust). He immediately would follow up with driving his sword (2. Heart Seeker) into the man’s abdomen intending to hurt and make the other man bleed.

“Boring? BORING?! How in the hell could you be bored?” Whatever force was guiding Flint’s body seemed offended by the notion that they were boring, and the purple and orange flames surrounding him seemed to reflect that as they became more erratic and uncontrollable. With the flame’s increase in heat, the sand beneath him began to slowly turn into glass, which crunched under his feet as his impatience caused him to hop between his feet once more.
The instant Javal advanced on him, Flint rushed to meet him, leaving a trail of glass footprints behind. His blazing eyes shot up to the sword raised in Javal’s left hand, and smirked “Come on, Don’t make your attacks so obvious.” Flint chided as he planted his feet into the sand below and held his flaming fists up, fully intending to try and stop the slash.
Flint braced himself for the slash, and with his attention on Javal’s left hand, he completely missed his right hand until he was tapped on the chest. He felt his feet leave the ground and the split second of hesitation allowed for Javal to drive his sword through his abdomen. Steam and blood rushed from the wound as Flint hung in the air, dangling from the sword, breathless.
Flint suddenly took a sharp inhale. Desperation raced through his body as his already overclocked body went into overtime once again. Still dangling from the sword and weightless from Javal’s tap, he plunged the sword deeper into himself to get closer to the fellblood. He tightened his abs as to provide leverage and set a flurry of desperate but still powerful punches to anywhere on Javal’s body. He needed to end this NOW as he could feel the flames starting to recede back into his body, So in a last-ditch effort, 1he brought his leg up and feinted twice, finishing with a full-force kick to Javal’s temple, 2following with a burst of the remaining flames.
Flint’s body sputtered out as he slumped down and slid off the length of the sword. Landing on the ground in front of Javal, unconscious and bleeding profusely but somehow still barely breathing.

The fellblood snarled in anger at the cowboy following taunting but soon his lips curled into a manic grin of pride as he held up his prize, a cowboy skewer. The man simply starts breaking down laughing, his voice coarse and venomous filled with vitriol before his gaze becomes cold and rigid as he notices the other man hasn’t stopped squirming instead even trying a counterattack.
The fellblood took the punch head not feeling the pain from it but was shocked to see the cowboy try to kick him in the head not fall for the first two feints but still took that kick with flames to the side of the head. He coughs immediately letting go of the man letting him slide off his sword as he holds the right side of his forehead, the cowboy managed to land a cheap shot even bruising his eye.
He holds his right eye with his left hand as he laughs at the man manically, “Boohoo bastard I beat ya exactly like I told ye I would. No surprise considering I’m the strongest in the land no matter what time period. You were boring by all stretches of the imagination but I’ll give it to you that last kick was real fucking awesome”.
He then shakes his head feeling a familiar warm feeling wash over him, “Dammit, looks like this body’s gonna wake up soon gotta take flamehead and myself to a medic quick before I knock out”.
He lays Flint down and calls out, “Aye redhead come out and fix my mess", suddenly Uriel Javal’s archangel appears scoffing at the man but immediately heading towards Flint to heal, placing her warm gentle hands over his chest (1) healing the man back to full power and health.
She then hovers over ‘Javal’ and places her hands over him, healing all of his wounds (1) and giving him a loud slap across the cheek.
The fellblood chuckles before looking over to Flint and saying, “Well bucko, you better hope I don’t see you again if I do then I won’t be as nice as I was this time, you'll die”, and his consciousness goes back to Javal’s as he hits the sand floor with a thunk.

Flint could feel his life slipping as he lay on the scorching sand, steam and smoke billowing from every pore. As the past 27 years flashed before his eyes, the same question passed through his mind as the day he dropped off of the black drake: would anyone miss him if he died right here? Then, just like before, three names came to mind: Bellamy Dawson, Colt Caldwell, and Javal Zarrias. He still knew the first two were hard maybes, but Flint knew that his friend would be devastated if he died by his hand; however, it was somewhat comforting to know that it was Javal who would end him.
Then, as Flint felt the last remnants of himself start to slip, his ragged and shallow breathing suddenly stabilized as Uriel pumped healing magic into him. The cowboy suddenly shot up and coughed up a lung, as even the act of breathing made his sore body ache. After getting his breathing under control, quick flashes of events that happened while he lost control ponged in his head, and he let out a defeated sigh as he realized he had barely laid a scratch on Javal. He felt around for his hat while keeping his gaze still on the sand, now genuinely seeing the difference in strength between his rival and himself.
Placing his hat atop his head, Flint slowly rose to his full height with a groan. He patted around his body, mostly checking the area where he got skewered, to see that he was back to total health despite the soreness in his muscles. He finally saw something lying in the sand out of the corner of his good eye, recognizing the mass of purple face first in the sand. Feeling a slight amount of bitterness about his second loss, he began to walk away into the sunset like he’d done a million times before. But he could feel something tug at him to stay, so after a couple of seconds of debating, he turned his heel toward his unconscious rival. In the last couple of weeks, he had hated how hard it had been to leave without a word … maybe this was a good thing for him.
So he flipped the fellblood onto his back with his boot, and with a light kick to the side, he tried to awaken Javal “Hey sleepyhead, rise and shine.” not before looking off into the distance and spotting a figure or at least something looking like someone. Then he blinked, and it was gone.

The darkness that Javal saw after he was knocked out mid-fight disappeared for a moment before he returned to a familiar sight. He was sitting on a green rug under a pillow next to a small Crescent Isles-styled room with a table in the middle facing the same odd fellow as the last time he’d lost control. He was about to say something before the fellblood man in a robe scoffs and says, “Shut the fuck up, I beat that friend of yers down badly so we won be happy kid. If you two fight again I can’t promise that I’ll control myself so don’t make me regret sparing his life. The bucko’s alright I gotta admit not strong yet but hell if he keeps up with the same energy from that final kick of his then maybe he’d be an intriguing opponent”.
He was about to say something again before the other fellblood reached over the table and clocked him in his jaw causing him to enter back into consciousness. He heard a faint voice as he startled awake seeing Flint over him he quickly sat up startled breathing heavily and holding his head.
“What happened Flint? The last thing I remember is getting punched by that weird guy and the last thing I remembered before that was fighting you and then blacking out mid-fight. Who ended up winning? Are you alright? Who's that over there?”, the fellblood asked with concern and worry in his voice.

Flint squatted down, offering a reassuring touch to Javal's shoulder after the intense encounter. "Woah there, partner, yer alright," he said, rubbing a scuff on his jaw, trying to piece together the past few minutes. The events were a blur, with only the sensation of a sword being driven through him etched clearly in his memory.
"I ain’t too sure if I’m bein’ completely honest," Flint admitted with an unknowing shrug. "The last thing I remember clearly was my blood runnin’ real hot, and the rest up until the end of the fight was a blur for me." Despite the uncertainty, Flint flashed a cocky grin when Javal inquired about his well-being, standing up and patting his shoulder. "Don’t sweat it, I’m fine. And you ended up winnin’ after you drove yer sword through me," he joked, omitting the details of his near-death experience and subsequent healing.
"Though are you alright? I don’t have a recollection of holdin’ back," Flint asked, following Javal's gaze to where he motioned. A man stood, a similar height to Flint, if not a bit taller, with long white hair beneath a wide-brimmed black hat and a red cloth covering half his face. Eye contact with the man revealed a familiarity that made Flint's eyes widen in recognition. "Colt?" he exclaimed.
Without a word, Colt removed his hat and lowered his mask, revealing a face resembling Flint's, with a few more years etched on it. Colt's calm voice held a desperate edge, sending shivers down Flint's spine. "I ain’t got much time," Colt urged. "You need to go back home as soon as possible. Somethin’ is happening to Dad, and I know you got that healin’ ability." Fear crept onto Flint's face, his hands clenched as Colt continued, "Look, I know what he did to both of us… but he needs you now more than ever."
Colt's form began to flake away with the wind, disappearing into the sands with a puff. "Colt! Wait!" Flint called out, futilely grasping at the dissipating sand. Left alone with the weight of the revelation, Flint remained frozen, fists clenched tightly as the thought of returning home consumed him

“Yes friend Flint I am fine I swear just a little rattled I can’t remember much after feeling that intense feeling in my heart and blacking out”, the fellblood says standing up and holding his head.
“WHAT DID I DO?”, Javal exclaimed with a completely shocked and disturbed look on his face.
He ran his sword through Flint’s body. No way! How could he do such a thing, after all the other man was a dear friend to him.
He then immediately bows and says, “I’m so sorry Flint that I hurt you like that, it was not my intention and I let myself lose control. That shouldn’t have happened and I shouldn’t have become so mindless and let my body act on its dark impulses”.
He then continues, “Yes I am fine, my body feels a little tired but besides that, I don’t feel pain or anything at all. I can’t remember anything after letting go and giving it my all. Everything just kinda turned into darkness and it felt like I had entered a state of sleep”.
Javal’s eyes suddenly grew wide as Flint mentioned a name he had heard the other man mentioned before, Colt. Javal stood by and listened to the other man slightly embarrassed and ashamed about his actions hoping that the other man didn’t hate him for what he did to Flint.
He grinned wide as the other man left and exclaimed with excitement, “Friend Flint he was here! Your brother returned although under unfortunate circumstances which I’m sorry to hear. What will you do now? Follow his suggestion? Ignore him? I’m more than happy to help with whatever you need”.

Flint stood silent for a few seconds, squeezing his fists as tight as he could. He had avoided his family home for the past decade or so. Why now did he have to go back when his fate was now his to command, with no one from the Caldwell name to drag him down? He felt like he was finally free, but his past always came clawing its way back up no matter how hard he tried. Was he going to run like he had done all the times before? For once, Flint couldn’t come to a decision.
Snapping out of his own head, he looked to his friend with a half smile, and it was a new sight to see on the cowboy's face. “I … I don’t know Javal. I just need to go somewhere and just sit on it.” He shook his head in disbelief as he couldn’t believe that Colt, of all people, would help their father. Not after the years of torment he put them through, but he knew Colt was the righteous type. Someone who couldn’t refuse to aid someone in need, no matter their sins. That was the one thing he didn’t like about his brother. “You’re a good man, Javal, and your offer is much appreciated, but as it stands, I ain’t enough of a man to stand before my father without wanting to harm him.” he would do as he always does, and just push this worry and fear deep down where he wouldn'y have to confront it.
He walked over to Javal and lightly punched his chest; his arm muscles screamed from the sudden movement, but he chose to ignore it “Till next time, Javal, and mark my words, I’m gonna take that champion title from you,” he stated with a challenging glint in his yellow eyes. Then, as all good cowboys do, he sets off into the sunset, though this time with a goodbye and the promise to see his friend again.

Javal had a worried expression as he stood by his friend placing his hand on his back before giving him a powerful pat on the back.
“I completely understand Flint, it’s okay to not know what to do right now more than fine. Thinking about this is important and wherever you need to think about it I hope you can find what you’d like to do. I offer my mother’s tavern and my ship if you ever need advice or where to find me. You don’t have to be a man to forgive your father's friend, you already are. You fought the god of rebirth and are alive to tell the story. I think that’s pretty awesome and epic. Take all the time you need to prepare yourself to talk to your father peacefully. When you have a calm and clear mind I’m sure that you’ll find the answers that you seek”.
He then chuckled as his best friend punched him in jest, grinning widely as he spoke, “I’m looking forward to it Flint, I want to see you become even stronger, after all, you had a giant jump in strength since last time. I’m even more excited to see how strong you become next time. We’ll both be super strong and have the best fight ever, don’t be a stranger though, and feel free to visit”.
He then waves his friend off before turning around and walking the opposite way towards his home of Thorock. He had a lot to think about himself; a dark thought had emerged in his head that he couldn’t shake off. He lost control of his body during the middle of the battle and must’ve hurt Flint badly if he was able to beat him. He needed to get his dark impulses under control because if he didn’t he would hurt the people he cared about next time he lost control.
