He was used to women flirting with him. In fact he had come to expect it on some level. But he knew already from when they first met that Kamille, The Witch Of Moonglade wasn't just any woman. He had so far, in just one short evening come to not only find her stunningly attractive, powerful and enchanting, but interesting, intelligent and resourceful as well. To say he had grown to possess an interest in her was saying it lightly.
Now as she was adjusting his clothes, getting familiar with him while stepping closer, he found himself confused, unsure even as he had not expected her to make such a clear advance on him. It made his blood boil with excitement, enjoying the moment where a woman he was mutually interested in making the first move. In this way he was like any other man. He was however quite used to a woman's allure, no matter how powerful. Enjoying the moment he allows himself to fall into the depths of her eyes, as he makes sure she sees his as well.
He smiles kindly as he leans into her as she steps closer. "I prefer to be even more intimate if I can be so bold, and the feeling is mutual. I have never encountered a woman quite like you. So beautiful, intelligent. I speak the truth when I say I am most pleased to find your feelings mirroring my own."
He leans down and into her, breathing in her perfume, heat and the sensation of her beating heart in the palm of her hand as he takes her offered hand. Placing one hand on her back, he puts her weight into his arms and leans her backwards as he leads his nose to the nape of her neck, to take her in. A quick and practiced movement. And for a moment he considers his desires and bloodthirst. Oh how delightful she must taste, he thought for himself. From her point of view it would feel as if he froze still, unmoving as stone as he fights the dark urge to pierce her with his fangs.
Collecting himself, thinking it was not the right time or place to fall to his baser instincts he straightens up, pulling her with him to her feet. "My apologize, it is not every day I experience the advance of someone so delightful. I got somewhat carried away." He doesn't step away, keeping one hand on her back, still holding her hand with the other. There is a strength in his grip, but it is ever so gentle as he looks down upon her.
During this short exchange, the paladin had stepped out of the room in silence.
