Taki watched Keyke for a moment, listened to her words but thought of something else they should do first. Taking a deep breath, she commanded her golems to piled the bodies out on the opposite side of the road in as neat a line as they could. While this was happening, she turned to the remaining delegations. "Before we continue this meeting, we should hold a vigil for the slain. While it may have been their ill intention that caused so much strife this day, laying them to rest is a part of my duties as a shaman and guardian of spirits. I understand if you all do not wish to participate, but I shall be prioritizing this task."
With her intentions laid bare, the shaman walked out into the open air and across the road to the pile of bodies. She did not know their names, or why they had chosen to attack... but they would be returned to the earth that gave them life, even if they chose to squander it. Once the golems had completed the pile, her guardians joined her side. Shion had remained with the spiders inside, and skittered out with the few who chose to join the vigil. The one that had joined their side came up to the shaman, awaiting her companion before addressing them.
"You fight with powerful magic and command of the battlefield, you and your friend have my deepest thanks."
"As do you, I'm glad things did not turn out worse, though I'm afraid some of your colleagues will see this as a means to exploit their arguments."
"They will not, not so long as I draw breath."
"What do you mean?
"While we don't have the rigid structure of the world of men, I am the second daughter of the currently ruling family. My words may be seen as more than just ideas to them, and gladly will I do all I can to ensure what happens here is fair to all parties."
Taki bowed slightly, taken aback by the revelation that the spiders had chosen to send someone with such authority to these talks. She wasn't sure if it showed an immense trust or gullibility on their part, but she was glad either way the outcome was not worse. Once the golems had finished their work, Taki turned back to her task as shaman. She waved the others back from the bodies, calling forth the magic from her body once again. The earth beneath the pile parted, opening like a gaping maw hungry to devour all. It was slightly unceremonious, but it was far better than the hours it would take to do so by hand and shovel. With Ryu and Keta at her side, she concentrated, singing a sorrowful requiem for a few moments in Druidic. She opened the palms of her hands, directing the glowing light down into the hole and bathing the bodies in purifying light (Last Rites). She counted the number of bodies before giving her golems a final task, to lay upon the bodies and seal their grave. The pair of stocky creatures once more interlocked, shoving their limbs into the soil to make a solid cap on the hole as the magic that animated the pair dissipated. Finally, she called forth a row of spiky Crystalline Shards, though these were kept as small and flat as she could to serve as gravestones for these lost souls.
