"Ignore that? Hell no, I'm not ignoring that," she chuckles and pulls her in closer. "The nickname suits now, I suppose. And surprisingly enough, I can feel through them. It's nice, honestly. It's always been a dulled or non-existent sensation, so feeling things unfiltered is.. strangely overwhelming. Huh.
They continued walking some distance until C'Leena groans. "Right, horse is gone. That's gonna be a bitch to explain to the stable bloke. Ooh, off topic but hold on. You like shiny stuff, right?" C'Leena wraps her opposite wing infront of her, takes a moment to peruse before plucking one of the smaller feathers. She winces for a moment, surprised by the pain of it. Turning toward Nephele, she presents her with the feather.
C'Leena bows, one of her wings folded in front and the other outstretched. C'Leena has a wry grin on her face, despite how ragged she looks. "For you, Madame. Now, we do seem to be missing a horse," C'Leena observes. She turns to Nephele.
C'Leena holds out a hand to Nephele to take. Her wings are completely outstretched, prepared to take off. C'Leena is smiling a kind smile; one that simply promises safety and warmth. A smile filled with love.
"Let me be your guardian angel, Petal. Care to fly with me?"

Nephele was oddly thrilled that C’Leena was able to feel in her wings, making her have hope for the rest of her body. She wondered when this had happened, clearly C’Leena had been surprised herself. Nephele couldn’t see the horse either, a bit worried for where it went. She wondered if domestic horses knew their way home, and was interrupted by the sight of something shiny. Nephele’s eyes went wide, both elated and worried as she looked between it and C’Leena herself. “Y-You didn’t have to do that, dearest…” With all the self-control she could muster (which was barely any), Nephele took the feather from C’Leena’s hand, admiring it with a gentle smile. “Thank you.”
Nephele blamed the blood loss, but C’Leena was acting extra sweet and sappy right now. The fact that this was the same woman who wiped out a bunch of cult members just to get to her, which was still a cause of concern, didn’t seem to connect in her brain. With a giggle, Nephele did her best to dismiss it. This wasn’t the time – her girlfriend was proposing she fly with her and being completely and utterly dorky.
“You’re silly…” Nephele remarked, so terribly fond, extending her other hand placing it in C’Leena’s with a laugh. “I would love to. I trust you with my life, angel.”
