The spirit of the Red Rogue was one of the traditions between cultures in Charon that Del was deeply amused by. While she could not remember most of the years that came prior, one that stuck out in her mind was when her instructor led her out in the cold night to give gifts to the less fortunate. While much of the old monk's gifts had been hand-made, and not stolen from the rich, within the sack there would sometimes be objects Del was certain did not come from his hands originally. But when she asked where he'd gotten them, signing to him curiously, the man would simply wink and tap the side of his nose. If they saw anyone delivering gifts that were, perhaps, ill-obtained, he taught her to turn a blind eye.
Del, however, preferred a more hands on approach. While she was, again, no thief, she was no snitch, and indeed, had a particular skill set that made her an invaluable Red Rogue herself. Though the goods in the warehouse she approached, moving nimbly from alley to alley as quietly as possible, were not lifted by her hands, she could contribute to the delivering of these things while she was here in the city for a few days. Her joy in helping people was very apparent here. This was direct action.
Taking care to not jostle anything against the stone ground or the pavement while she made her way, Del peered around a corner towards the warehouse she had been told to go to. While she did not know what the building contained-- not that it was her business anyway-- she did know that what was within was valuable, and could set up one of the many less fortunate families in the area for the year. Hopefully, it contained something easily fenced or otherwise immediately profitable. Del watched the exterior for a few minutes to look for any suspicious movement or people nearby from her place in the shadows.

It’s the night of the Red Rogue, the night of illegal shenanigans. Or so Edward was told by his recent employer who wanted Edward to guard a warehouse full of toys. There was recent chatter that this year would be a very big year for the Red Rogue imposters who celebrate the night by stealing toys and whatnot. Edward doesn’t feel animosity towards these imposter, but they are stealing from people who work hard to earn a living from their wares.
Edward stands in front of the door of the warehouse, surveilling the area around him to watch out for intruders. He grasps his staff, waiting patiently for any movement coming from the shadows. Unfortunately, he can’t see in the dark perfectly and doesn’t have any spells that could reliably illuminate the area in front of him. However, he is prepared and ready to mete out justice to those who steal from the law abiding citizens of Sol City.

Peering from the shadows, Del watched the guard in front of the door for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately for her, they seemed very alert and stoic, never moving at all from their post as they warily watched the world. She remains still for a while before pulling back behind the wall, a smile playing across her lips. Would they be up for a little game of cat and mouse?
She moved back up the side street away from the warehouse, and removed from her pack a toy, one of the ones she had made previously to sell along her travels. It was a children's toy, a little wooden buck with wheels for feet. Setting it against the gentle declining slope towards the warehouse on the main street, she gave it a little push. Though it would take a few minutes to reach the feet of the guard (if it didn't catch on any of the cobbles and go sprawling), if all went well, the aim was to distract the guard long enough for Del to get closer to the warehouse by the noise it created, and the presence of the little wooden deer.
Moving back down the side streets at a faster clip than the meandering little toy, she would wait until she could see the focus of the guard switch, for even a split second, before breaking from the shadows to slip against the side of the building to the left of the main door being guarded. Here, she pressed her back firmly against the building and exhaled. Shadows converged around her, pulling her into inky blackness, and out of view.
1) Shadow Hiding - By standing completely still you can cause a simple shadow to fall over your body. This allows you to blend in to the darkness or even a pre existing shadow. As long as you are not moving, you fade into blackness, becoming hidden within a shadow or absence of light. While you are nearly impossible to see, if you move it will break the skill and you will become visible.
