Kamille didn't seem to mind taking the brunt of the damage - after all, she could probably handle it. At first she had thought that getting known would be bad for business - for her kind of business - but turns out she was much more comfortable in being a distraction rather than acting from the shadows. After all, she had no talent for subtlety.
Two of her Black Quills turned to the guard's tower, each with a Sleep potion in hand, acting before the start of the distraction to put the guards to sleep. Mostly, it worked. There would be questions afterwards, but she doubted it would cause her any trouble.
Allan, her third Black Quill, remained close to the fight on the street, watching from a nearby rooftop, ready to shot if things got out of hand with Kamille's duel. The two mages that had tried to ambush her seemed to regret it deeply, and one of them ran away as soon as the tall flames started to emerge. The first one was quickly grabbed by some of the guards that were already packing the place, surrendering quite easily and seemingly a bit scared, as if he had no idea what he was getting himself into. The other duelist, whether crazier or just more drunk, continued to exchange spells with Kamille, lightning and ice and fire raging from around them. The guards were just waiting for an opportunity to approach and try to strike him down to arrest him.
Fish wouldn't find much trouble in his way into the ships, except maybe one guard that was left behind while all others went to see what was going on the streets - or maybe he just didn't want to have to put his hands on that mess...... He wasn't stupid enough to get in between two mages if they wanted to kill each other.

Underneath the deck of the ship, Fish pulled manuevers straight from the cartoons. Hiding in the man's shadow or just circling him to avoid being seen, the guard was perceptive, but Fish had learned quite a bit more about sneaking lately. Unbeknownst to anyone, or so they believed, Fish trained their sneaking ability by trying to get past Ebony in The Rookery. No longer attempting to steal anything, just trying to see how long they could last before the cat spotted them. That being said, random guard was not Ebby.
Eventually Fish darted from their shadow and found the powder room. Perfect. Fish grabbed a barrel of black powder and tipped it on its side. For the moment the guard seemed to have gone topside to see about the fight, giving Fish just enough time. The barrel was rolled out from the room and across the ship. Fish's next move is entirely for themselves, but as they roll out the powder they take the time to draw a little crow head in powder. A calling card if you will.
Once the powder is rolled out, Fish takes a lantern off a hook and smashes it into the flow causing the sparks to light the line of powder.
"Hey what was that?" The guard comes down the stairs reaching the bottom as Fish is hopping out the window to dive out. This isn't good, who should he go after? Seeing the flame sprinting towards the powder room, he turns tail and starts running for the dock. "CAP'N SOME BIRD'S GONN-" His warning is cut off by several loud and concussive explosions.
The sheer size of the shockwave even causes Fish to slip a moment as they hop back towards land and off to the rendezvous point with Kamille, the flaming ship crackling in the distance.

It took Kamille a while to show up. Her duel raged a moment longer, before one of the guards was able to approach her opponent from behind and body slam him to the ground. Once he was down and cuffed and properly dealt with, for a moment still the guards pulled their weapons at Kamille, but her resolve to fight was already gone. Unlike the man being arrested, it was much easier to talk to her, and the story she would tell would be a story some witnesses would repeat: she was walking down the street and was ambushed. End of story. Maybe they were just drunk or thought they could steal her, why should she know? That was their job right?
And then, the explosion caught their attention. What an eventful evening! The guards decided to accept her story in the end - it was her word, and the witnesses against two drunks, so it wasn't a hard choice. In the end, they peacefully let her go with just a stern look, as stern as they could get regarding a mage that just wrecked the street. Luckly, apparently no one got hurt. Actually, it wasn't by sheer luck, because she knew Allan to have a hand in that. Specially after seeing Fish negociate with his boss, he would want to show he could handle his job. Stupid bird.........
A few minutes passed, but eventually she arrived at the meeting spot, seemingly alone, though it was safe to assume she would have at least one of her Black Quills with her at all times, even if they weren't visible.
Kamille had a wide smile when she saw Fish. This time, Poe was by her side, since she knew the woman understood sign language and could help her with Fish. She also had Mischief softly perch up on her shoulder, and the raven didn't look happy to see Fish.
"That was... Impressive. Very efficient, indeed."

By the time Kamille had arrived, Fish had already nestled into a spot in the rafters out of sight. They weren't about to allow themselves to be seen anywhere and they weren't so naive as to believe there was no chance at being double crossed. The man with the witch did seem to not like the bird, but it was not Fish's fault they were a better sneak and businessperson. They see Kamille enter, looking out the windows to see if there was anyone else coming.....seemed not.
Fish quietly descended and made themsevles seen, crossbow hanging off their hip, but loosely for quick access if there was going to be any sort of funny business. "Fish did say that was the benefit of hiring Fish. Plans should be significantly delayed....Fish made sure the damage would be exact. The ship is too damaged to sail, but also too damaged to sell. Owners will have to fix it which will take months."
They nod firmly, happy with the results, and outstretch their non-shooting hand. Funny business included ambushing Fish and also attempting to shortchange the bird. The kenku had many justifications for crime, best not to find out how many.

On top of being genuinely impressed by Fish's skills, Kamille was also fighting the urge to just grab the deadly cute bird and cuddle them in her arms. That didn't sound very professional of her - unlike little Fish with his little gloves and little crossbow, looking so professional and uptight........
"I'm pretty glad I met you, Fish. No wonder why your services are requested even by Ashen Fathers."
Some part of her knew that she was giving this bird way too much money, but she was already by default a generous woman. And even more so with such an amazing boost of serotonin from just seeing the small bird, signing so flawlessly and looking so. damn. cute.......
"I hope we can meet again soon, Fish. Maybe you could teach me sign language?"
At that mention, Fish could see the woman that accompanied her this time have the same involuntary eye-twitch as the archer had. Yes, she wouldn't allow that to happen if it depended on her. Either way, Kamille knelt before Fish and handed him the rest of the money, like she promised.
"I would love to know you more, if you had the time. I hope we cross paths again, Fish."
Far from being one to force the hand of fate, she knew that their paths would cross again if it was meant to. And if not, she would just remember how she briefly worked with an adorable criminal and cherish the memory. On her shoulder, Mischief was visibly fuming.
The Witch extended her hand to shake his.
"See you next time?"

Fish is listening to the questions, but their focus right now is in quickly counting all of the coins on hand. Not a single solar missing, thankfully this was an honest working relationship. Fish appreciated being appreciated, even if they could sense Kamille was a bit infatuated with them, they were thankful the witch willed herself against picking them up. That would have been a tense situation to be sure.
They finally look back up, tucking the bag into their backpack and pulling out the chalk and slate, "Learning to speak like Fish would help expedite future conversations."
Little eyes blink and a head is tilted as they look at the hand a moment before reaching up to shake it, nodding in agreement to seeing each other again.
