Breath enters your body, reenergizing your mind as the magic that had frozen you in place subsides, giving you full control of your body. Now among a sea of people floating in space, you realize your feet are standing on a solid surface, some form of transparent energy that allows you to stand upright and move, despite being in the vacuum of space. Whatever magic is doing this is powerful and beyond even your own comprehension, making who ever is responsible extremely powerful. It only takes a fraction of a few seconds, but you are able to tally the people here, specifically making note of the two standing next to you. Scern, the armored cultist who seemingly is responsible for this, stands yards away from you, alone but running towards you and the group. The pale, unsightly man begins to wave his arms around in the air, swinging from side to side, yelling something at the top of his lungs that gets drowned out by the space between him and you. At first you believe him to be the enemy, the cause of this chaos, ready to fend him off and stop him from gaining the Sol Stone. However, as he nears, you begin to see fear, confusion and panic spread across his evil face, and instead of wielding any weapons, he is calling out, trying to gain your attention. From this range and among the confusion its pretty hard to make out what he is saying, but you are able to read one word that keeps getting repeated. Flee. With so much already running through your confused head, its hard to fully grasp what exactly is going on. In only a few brief moments you had been frozen in place and teleported to deep space, now standing among many other notable adventurers from Charon ready to defeat a known cultist. But not is all as it seems, and behind every convoluted plan is a master strategist, for as Scern continues to run towards you and your allies, another entity comes into view, one impossible to miss. Rising from the cosmic aether of space, a towering humanoid figure appears, as if peeling from space and taking form. From its waist down the figure remains transparent, a set of star filled legs that seamlessly meld with the stars and dark void around it. From the waist up appears a celestial body, made of stars, gases and other space debris, ultimately culminating in a galactic face, with two bright, sun like eyes peeing down from its towering vantage point. It takes you a moment to even fathom what the hell is happening, as this indescribable entity emerges, hundreds of feet taller than anything you have ever witnessed. Blinking wildly, you stand stunned, trying to absorb the scene. As the image of the being fully coalesces it dawns on you, this thing looks eerily familiar, and while not an exact replica, you realize this entity looks just like the depictions of a specific god worshipped on Charon. You are standing face to face with Ziev, the god of time and space. Still reeling from the sight before you, Scern's movement breaks your concentration, distracting you from the splendor of a god. More than half way to you and the group, you are able to make out what he is saying now. His fingers are quickly and intricately weaving a spell of some kind, an advanced spell that requires tons of energy and time to prepare. As the cult leader nears the front of the group, what you thought would be vulgar acts of aggression are instead cries for help, as Scern is not here to fight you, but to help. "There is no time to explain, but you are all in grave danger! I am working on a spell to get us all back home, but until then I need you all to help protect me!"His words were staggered and filled with gasping breath, a flood of sweat dripping down his face. Continuing to close in on the front of the group, you see a faint red aura begin to form around his body, as the air around you starts to become energized, a tense feeling of deep arcane magic flowing around your body. The towering being behind Scern moves, its eyes darting from side to side as it scans the group, a devious grin spreading across its cosmic face. Its lips move to speak, its words deep, echoing throughout your entire body and pressing into your mind. You find it hard to behold, mesmerized by it's grandeur until its words finally settle into your mind. One single word.... HeathensPanic begins to fill every inch of your person as you watch its massive arm raise up, only to quickly return downward. Its target however is you and your entire group, as an indescribable hand now cast a massive shadow across the crowd, its palm rapidly falling downwards to smash your entire party. A unified cry of distress echoes out as the hand nears, only to slam against an unseen barrier, ripples of red arcane energy pulse through out the air, as Scern grimaces, his body also being pushed downwards by an unseen force. Its hard to be sure, but it appears as if the cultist was the cause of the hand stopping, successfully protecting the lives of everyone here. "He is not what you think, the gods tricked us all, and he is their puppeteer. If you wish to leave this place alive, I beg of you, distract him while I finish this spell!"Exasperated, the pale man pushed back, more sparks of red energy shooting from his person as a faint red arcane rune began to form across the transparent floor you are standing on. A massive rune that spanned the entire group, one filled with complex and hard to read enchantments was now forming, as the god's hand lifted and returned to its side, another attack quickly forming. There was no more time to think, no more time to figure things out, an explanation for everything was pointless right now, for it became all to obvious what your only option was To fight a God.
Alright folks, the finale to Sol Stone is here! We are trying something new with this event, it may be confusing and complicated at first, but we will get through it together. The task is simple, work together with your team of three to fight back Ziev and give Scern time to prepare his spell. This event will be separated into 10 total topics, but don't worry, you only need to pay attention to two of them. This topic will act as the main hub, and every time Ziev makes his response, it will be done in this topic. You however will not reply to this topic, only tracking it to see what Ziev and any other NPC may do. Each team will have their own topic associated with their team. You are only required to post in your teams topic. The process is simple, an admin will respond to the core topic once every 72 hours, posting at midnight EST. You can then write your response to the core topic in your own team topic, listing out what you do and how you do it. While you will be separated from the other members and topics, every topic will build towards an ultimate success or failure. Each time the admin responds, they will take account of every thing used in the other minor team topics, describing the out come of everyone's actions in the single core topic. You will only have a small window to post, once every 72 hours. If you do not post before the admin's next post, your turn for that rotation will simply be skipped, however you will be able to respond during the next rotation. No one will be left out or held up, with the topic continuing until its predetermined conclusion. Anything you use will only affect those in your team topic, you can not interact with or affect other members in different topics. To make this process smoother, we have attached a set of descriptors to different actions someone may take. When making your reply, please list at the bottom of your post what things you used and the correct descriptor, provided below. You can only make two actions per post. An action consist of anything that can fall into a category below. Movement and basic mundane things (Like pulling out a weapon or speaking) do not count against your action usage. If you are not sure what type of action your move falls under, make your best guess, it will not affect the overall outcome if you stated an incorrect action type. -Example-
Soul used fire ball which counts as an Offensive action -Offensive Actions:
Offensive actions are any action that is attempting to deal direct damage and injure the boss. This includes things like weapon attacks, damaging spells like fire balls, or class abilities that deal damage. -Defensive Actions:
Defensive actions are actions that are meant to protect or defend a character from the bosses abilities. This includes, dodges, barriers like walls, or abilities that would normally do damage but are instead used to protect, like a fire ball clashing with an attack. -Buff Actions:
Buff actions are any type of skill, spell or ability that is attempting to buff a character, such as speed boost, strength boost or other types of things that increases a characters ability. -Debuff Actions:
Debuff actions are any action that is attempting to debuff or weaken the boss you are fighting. This includes things that would decrease the bosses strength, speed, health, or other ability. -Support Actions:
Support actions are actions that are attempting to assist the group with things like healing, cleansing or removing of a condition. These actions almost entirely affect an ally and are used to keep them going.

Ziev looked down from the heavens, scanning the group that had magically appeared in his domain, one of these infernal mortals having had summoned him here. Was this a new attempt on the gods? Did one of these people know his secret? Regardless, they were here and convinced they had it all figured out. Who ever was the cause of this event had an insane amount of magic, and was extremely skilled. The question was not how they had come to be in this place, but why. His first slam attempt was deflected by some unseen barrier, proving to the cosmic god that this group indeed had some skills to them.
As the godlike being prepared a second attack, the mortals below unleashed a devastating barrage of attacks and skills themselves. The void of space filled with all kinds of magical effects, from spells to ranged assaults, as the Charonian's delivered a relentless attack. Some launched elemental and mental spells, while others rushed in, utilizing their physical prowess to attack the god. While some attacked, others supported, throwing up defenses, applying buffs and preparing for a follow up attack. It was a coordinated attempt, a sight to behold, as dozens of heroes united together to defend themselves.
As the attack raged on, Kamille, a witch from Moonglade, had instead decided to approach Scern while he continued to channel his arcane energy. Her own minions joined the offensive crowd while she placed a hand on the man and began to peer into his mind. She searched his memories and thoughts, trying to quickly unravel what was going on, and who the true deceiver was. Tears began to well up in her eyes, a sense of dread and sorrow washing over the woman as she peered through time, the story of Scern and his journey displayed before her.
It was hard for the woman to catch her breath, sobbing now as her eyes snapped open, now completely aware of the truth. The gods were not as they seemed, a intricate web of lies and schemes that had been woven across thousands of years. Scern, a man who had been viewed as a criminal, a whack job, and a liar, was in fact being honest. Ziev had fabricated a lie, one that has taken root in the very fabric of reality on Charon.
Several minutes of continuous onslaught passed as Ziev took everything. Explosions roared as fires flared, magical and physical attacks finding their mark. Weapons pierced god flesh, magic took control of its mind, energy fluctuated to and from the being as it succumbed to everything. As the final wave of attacks landed, the crowed looked upon a being cloaked in smoke, reeling from the barrage it had just received. Silent onlookers waited to see the reaction, as Scern turned to face either side of the group.
"We are getting close, the enchantment is almost complete!"
Then everything changed.
Wait...
This has happened before, and as Scern arrives to the group and begins to start a spell, it dawns on you, you were reliving something that had already happened. Your gaze moves from Scern directly up to Ziev, a sly grin that feels as if it was directed to you personally spreads across his face. You have been thrown back in time, every attack, every spell, every action was rewound and now you have been returned to the past, where none of what had just happened was real. And yet the memory of it lingers, your actions a faded imprint on your mind, Kamille's memory of her spell vague, but there.
What in the hells had just happened?
Scern has now begun his spell, channeling red arcane energy around his body as a massive red rune begins to form on the ground around you. You look up expecting to see Ziev's hand crash down on you, like it had before, but it is not there, and as you try to figure everything out, you watch as Ziev vanishes, melding with the cosmic space behind him. The pale cultist continues his spell as if completely unaware of what had just happened.
Now alone in space, with a murderer channeling an unknown spell, and dozens of people from Charon standing next to you, you ponder. Seconds turn to minutes and nothing happens. Minutes turn to hours, as Scern just still works on his spell, random members of the group turning to speak to each other, trying to understand, could they get back home? Hours droned on, endless passing moments, a grueling expanse of life, a loop continued for an unknown expanse of time. Patience lead to boredom, boredom lead to anger, and anger lead to utter soul crushing despair. You were living an endless loop of a single moment, repeating itself over and over again, one single second plastered next to infinite copies of its self.
This was true hell
You snapped back to reality, only a second later, your fatigued and exhausted body returned to its moment in time. Ziev still stood there behind a cloud of smoke and magical residue, Scern still with Kamille as she read his thoughts, the entire group having just finished their attack. It was confusing, painful, understanding now the true might of this being. He had just caused you to live one single moment over and over again, for what felt like a life time. If he wanted to, he could have left you all there, forever. You feel completely drained, hungry, dizzy, like you havent had sleep in a week. Your knees buckle as you feel the last bit of energy left in your body attempt to hold you up.
This was the true power of a god...
And you were hopeless against it.
Notes:
Ziev rewound time, ignored everything, then made you experience one moment over the expanse of a lifetime.
New round of actions
Have Fun

-Staff Note- We apologize for the confusion and lack of transparency when it comes to our larger site plots. Going forward we will be better about giving an explanation of what you could expect mechanically from a site event. Site Plots are intended to deliver a story from a larger, more global perspective, and while the IC scenarios may seem dire and dangerous, we will never create a site wide activity designed to kill, ruin or disrupt a characters personal growth, and only intend to further progress the greater story of Charon and all of its inhabitants.
With that said, if you wish to no longer participate in this activity, you are free to simply bow out. This event is not based on any one character, so the group will not be hindered in any way if someone decides to bow out, not respond or misses a posting window. We are all here to tell a story, not punish anyone.
These puny mortals were brave, fool hearted, and maybe a tad stupid, for after having every ounce of energy drained from their bodies, they continued to push on, retaliating and launching a secondary attack. The deity watched as another round of spells, attacks, and abilities were used, the entire group working together to defeat what they perceived as a mutual enemy. To Ziev however these brave idiots were nothing more than a pesky nuisance, a gnat buzzing around the face of a god, no these mortals were not to be feared, but someone was. There was one individual in this group that had the power to change things, to alter reality as it had been for thousands of years. Unfortunately for this all powerful being, they could not discover who it was, which one of these people were giving off such power. As the groups assault began to land, all the spells, abilities and attacks finding their mark, Ziev began to feel something weird, a strange sensation that he had not felt in eons. Was this...pain? Something was going on and it was beginning to infuriate the space god, these flimsy attacks should have had no affect on him, and yet there was something, the lingering of pain, slowly creeping into the mind of Ziev. He needed to figure this out before what ever was happening was allowed to finish.
Back on the ground, the group of Charonians began to recover from the gods attack, some of them pushing through their fatigue, others supplementing and reinforcing themselves with unique abilities. Sure they were no match for a god, but that was not going to stop them from trying. Despite all the chaos and confusion about what was going on, Scern continued his incantation, the red rune beneath everyone's feet continuing to grow, getting bigger and brighter with each passing moment. While some of the group launched offensive attacks, and others prepared defensive alternatives, a few members of the group decided to help, or threaten Scern. Blue Raspberry, an odd armored individual, was reading the spell Scern was preparing, a powerful enchantment that even after discerning was still foreign to the ooze. He could not understand the spells name or its full potential, but at its core it was a combination spell, one that had transportation properties, as well as destructive properties. Whatever Scern was doing had the possibility to move something very large, and destroy something even larger. Maude, another member of the group decided to take a different approach, pointing his weapon at the cultist and demanding some sort of explanation. As sweat formed and dripped down the pale man's face, he couldn't help but be frustrated. It made sense that a group of so called heroes would be suspicious of a known criminal, but even in the face of true revelation, it was hard to fully ignore a lifetimes worth of teaching and understanding. Anyone looking at Scern would be able to see the level of fatigue and exhaustion plastered on the man's face, despite being somehow immune to Ziev's time warp. Through gritted teeth and split concentration, Scern spoke softly to anyone close enough to hear him. "I understand none of this makes any sense, but you have to listen, Ziev is not who you thought he was. There will be time to explain later, but if I am not allowed to finish this spell, there will be no time left, for any of us. "
The time for toying around was over, the cosmic being was unable to identify the source of the arcane power, but he had honed in on its location. Someone in the center of the group was channeling a spell, and even though he could not see that person, he could feel them. Through the debris of attacks and spells still culminating, Ziev channeled his rebuttal, needing a more direct form of attack this time. His two massive god like arms would raise as his eyes began to glow even brighter than they already were, the energy in the air palpable and charged. The group below would have mere seconds to notice as the gods eyes settled on the center of the group, a deafening buzz filling the air as two thick beams of pure energy fired themselves from the eyes of Ziev. He concentrated all of his energy on the center most portion of the group, two lazers made from pure cosmic energy now ripping through the air. Some of the Charonians had already set up defenses to protect Scern, but in the wake of a god, there was no telling how powerful these beams were. Damaging a god was one thing, but protecting someone from the sheer might of one was a different story. The lingering pain Ziev felt was growing, its intensity rising, which could only mean one thing, whoever was responsible for this knew his secret and was capable of revealing the truth. He needed to end this now. Notes: -Ziev has begun to take damage although it would not be visibly noticeable yet. -Scern now looks exhausted and has two massive lazers headed his way. -Next post will be made Monday, Jan 30th at midnight EST (three days)

The two massive beams of cosmic energy raced towards the center of the group, aimed at an unseen enemy to the space god. The crowd of warriors instantly reacted, setting out to defend and protect the cultist no matter what. Counter attacks were launched, defensive maneuvers were set into place and the entirety of the group moved into action, all to defend a man they barely knew, or trusted. The sounds of the attack echoed throughout space, tiny vibrations of buzzing energy pulsated into the minds of everyone as time seemed to stand still. Then, within the blink of an eye the beams were gone, nothing but a trail of smoke left behind. Everyone instantly froze in place, breath held, trying to see what had just happened.
Did they succeed?
The energy had successfully been deflected, due to the combined effort of several walls, protections and barriers thrown up by the Charonian forces. Ziev's eyes simmered as the glowing dimmed, his gaze transfixed on the center of the group. The lazers were successfully deflected, and Scern's spell was nearing completion, but the massive attempt to protect this man had shown Ziev exactly where he was, revealing the mans location to the god eagerly hunting him down. He was getting frustrated with these tiny mortals, and it was time to finish them off. He began to channel more energy, small orbs of light forming on either side of him. Those on or near the towering being would feel static in the air, some powerful attack being charged around its body.
Then something unexpecting happened, dozens of red ethereal chains burst from beneath the transparent floor, as if summoned from no where. They were made of magic and matched the red rune now formed around Scern's body. These chains began to wrap themselves around the gods various limbs, constricting and tightening their form. They bound the being, growing tighter and brighter as Scern pulled the magical chains tight. He grinned at Ziev who was now struggling to fight back against the enchantment, revealing himself and locking eyes with his enemy.
"It's time to die you fucking monster.
QUICK! HE IS BOUND AND VULNERABLE, BUT HE WONT STAY DOWN FOR LONG. HIT HIM WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE! RAIN HELL DOWN ON HIM WHILE I COMPLETE THE LAST COMPONENT Of THE ENCHANTMENT. "
His voice cried out over the crowd, instructing them to finish this off with a final strike. His spell was powerful but would not hold a being this powerful down for very long. He needed help from the combined forces of Charon, buying just a few more precious seconds before putting the finale into motion.

With the god now bound by Scern's enchantment, the entire group descended upon their enemy, taking the opportunity given to them to unleash everything they had left. Fire balls and lightning bolts flew through the air. A massive minotaur and a werewolf tore into the deity as warrior after warrior sunk their blades, axes, hammers and fist into the cosmic being. It was a chaotic few seconds with Ziev pushing back against their restraints to no avail. It was a successful volley of attacks, with each member of the Charonian forces doing what they could to fell their opponent.
Pain....this was a new feeling, or an old feeling that he had long since forgotten. There was no way these mortals were actually able to hurt him. Yet here they were, in the face of a god, fully intent on slaying him. What was once impossible was now somehow possible. Some foul magic was draining him of his power and giving it to these champions. The chains were powerful, but he was the god of time and space. This should be nothing for him.
Before he could channel more magic, the sounds of a dark Tiefling and a tiny child with a hammer caught his attention. He looks up just in time to see all the airborne Charonians falling onto him. In one combined strike, the god was split in two. The ethereal chains snapped as space itself was torn asunder with the god’s ethereal form.
Then, he vanished, melding back into the void behind him.
Silence fell on the crowd once more as they all finished their attacks, trying to catch their breath and regain their energy before whatever was about to happen next happened. Some even turned to Scern for an explanation, seeing now just how tired and drained the cultist was.
Moments later Ziev reappeared, this time floating miles above the group. He was still intact and fully alive, now making ready for his counterattack. The stars above would slowly begin to glow brighter and brighter. Dozens of tiny golden dots of light getting bigger and bigger as it dawned on several members of the party that Ziev was throwing literal stars at them. In a matter of seconds, hundreds of massive stars would careen with their little transparent platform.
The area began to glow, each person having light shed upon them as their doom neared. Scern, however, was not afraid and instead grinned one final time as he looked upwards at the full scene of the heavens hurtling towards them. It looked hopeless, panic and fear would set in as the heavenly objects closed in. Their lives flashing before their eyes.
And then…
Nothing.
Darkness.
Emptiness.
Suddenly, everything flooded back as if waking up from a dream you could not remember. Each Charonian now stood in the same old, dusty stone chamber into which they had first entered. Their original allies were next to them, but everyone who was present in space was now here as well. It would take a few moments to fully understand what had happened, but as things settled in it became obvious that they were all home back on Charon and free from Ziev’s domain.
Looking around, two things became obvious. The first was a massive hole in the ceiling where the golden rounded surface once was. Instead, there was now hundreds of tiny pieces of the stone littered across the floor. Whatever that thing was, it’s clear that it had been shattered.
The other thing the group would notice was Scern, laying on his back atop the stone casket he once stood on. He was alive and conscious, but only just. He lay gasping for breath before the weakened man sat up, looking the entire group over. They had done it. The adventurers were successful in buying him enough time to complete the spell.
The easy part was over.
Scern slowly raised himself and stood, holding his side as he gasped for air once more. He was in no shape to fight, and barely had enough energy to speak. An explanation was needed. These people deserved to know the truth, but…were they ready for it? Despite the situation, many of these people were more than likely still upset and viewed him as an enemy. Some may have even pulled forth weapons making their intentions true, but he had to try and get the truth out there.
"I understand you all have hundreds of questions, and I'm sure plenty of you would like to see me dead right now. I promise, if you let me tell my story, I will give no resistance to whatever comes after."
He paused for a moment, catching his breath and giving them all time to prepare themselves for his story.
"To answer the first question, the Sol Stone, the thing you have all been hunting, it was that giant ball in the ceiling and now lay strewn in pieces on the floor before you. I destroyed it with that spell I was channeling. We were not actually in space, we had been pulled into the stone itself. A pocket dimension existed inside that thing, a space for Ziev to rest and absorb energy. It was also a unique device that cut our world off from the other planes of existence.
Now the next question. Yes, that was in fact Ziev. The person you know as the god of space, but I knew him by another name. Mathias Ziev."
He paused, watching the different reactions from the faces of those still here. This was going to be a lot, and many of them would not believe or even understand, but what came next was the truth.
"To fully understand, I need to go back to the beginning. The Collapse was a time period in which the gods and men were at war. Battles raged on for hundreds of years until finally the war came to an end. History books will tell you that the gods took pity on us, tired of shedding the blood of their own creations. So, they left and returned to their heavenly abode.
That is a lie. A myth fabricated by another. You see, the gods never left Charon. Solaria, Lunala, Ginma, Salina and Avasha were all killed here in the Arid Mesa. I know this because I was there. I was a part of a seven-man group sent in to combat the gods. We were heroes, legendary members of Charon chosen to rid the world of the godly scourge, and we were successful. Our leader was a powerful Archmage known as Mathias Ziev. He created an object that would tear the divinity from the gods and seal it away. What we did not realize was that his true intentions were far more sinister.
He was successful in stealing the gods’ divinity. This made them mortal, allowing us to enact the final killing blow, ending the war, and ridding Charon of its gods. Or so we thought. Mathias took the divinity for himself, absorbing their energy and ascending to godhood. He activated the secondary function of the stone which shrouded Charon in a veil, sealing the world off from the greater realms of magic. Beings like angels, demons and devils who were fighting in the war became trapped, along with the lingering essence of the gods.
Mathias, then known only as Ziev, sealed himself away in the stone and began to rest. He created a false story, building the myth that Charon has now come to believe. He wanted the gods to continue to exist in the minds of the mortals so that they would continue to worship them, using whatever left over magical residue to make them believe the gods were still alive. However, Ziev was the only one absorbing this adoration and praise. He masqueraded around as the other six gods, but he was the one receiving your prayers, your blessings, and your faith. He used it to grow stronger, to fuel his newly born godhood.
He killed the rest of us, saying we were casualties of war. My friends slaughtered by a man the entire world trusted. I was lucky, having dabbled in dark magic I was able to preserve my spirit, gaining a new body soon after. I have spent the last thousands of years finding proof, recovering, rebuilding and relearning everything. But to Charon I am a mad man, a crazy loon with a conspiracy theory. Now we can tell the whole world! We can shed light on everything! With the stone destroyed, the other planes of existence are no longer sealed off to us, and their energy and magic will begin to flow back into Charon! We are on the cusp of a new era!"
His excitement was getting the best of him, now completely out of energy. Scern leaned up against the stone casket, resting and watching the room. He had no idea how the group was going to take this information. Would they believe him? Would they call him crazy? And what came next? Was he to be killed? Would they even want to tell the world the truth?
This will go up as a poll in the discord:
Now that you know the truth, what will you do with Scern
- Let him go - Kill him - Arrest him and lock him up
Staff Note: Yes, this is a lot to take in. Over the next few months, pieces of the true story will begin to be released through lore drops, the gazettes and other activities. We will be updating our history and our lore documents to reflect the truth as well.
The revelation of the gods being dead does not mean their influence does not continue to exist. People can continue to follow, believe and even worship the original six gods of the main pantheon, pulling the same magical energy from their respective domains. You may even choose to set out to revive these dead gods, if it suits you.
Entities such as fey, primordials, celestials, fiends, and other otherworldly beings were functionally sealed away during the creation of the stone and up until this point in time. Many of them would have lost that memory as Ziev altered the timeline. Now that the seal is broken, their influence can be much more widespread in the world than before.
We will help any characters through this transition process and will be happy to answer any questions.

After the long story from Scern, the majority of the Charonians just stood there taking it all in. The truth was a lot to stomach at first, many members of the group tried to recall the history books, hoping something this man said was a lie. But the more he went on and the more they listened, the more everything made sense. Charon's history was mostly told by word of mouth being past down from generation to generation. Over time it had been warped, retold by a being who benefitted from the truth being buried. Many of them would be angry, some even shedding a tear as everything they had been told about the gods suddenly came crashing down around them. With his story over, Scern flopped to the ground and leaned against the stone casket as the last of his energy left him. The group conversed for a moment, mainly to try and get a grip on reality, but to also decide what was to come next. They had to tell someone right? This was not going to be an easy thing though, as soon as the masses learned the truth chaos and panic would spread like wildfire. Before any of that the group needed to decide what to do with Scern. After several back and forth moments, a consensus was decided. They would arrest the cultist, take him back to Capitol Landing, and lock him away. This would allow Charon to keep an eye on the man without losing a prime witness to history itself. Many members of the group, tired and recovering themselves, approached Scern, ready to tie him up and bind him with manacles. As promised, he offered no resistance and allowed the group to arrest him and cart him off. As he was lead out of the chamber, he summoned enough energy to speak to his captors one final time. "This is only the beginning. With the stone destroyed and the veil dropped, new energy will begin to flow into Charon. Those who obtained power in the name of the gods will wish to keep this information a secret, and all hell could break loose. Charon will need its heroes..."Scern was done and would soon pass out while being transported back to Sol City. As for the Charonians, their next journey was more of a mystery than ever. Many of them would struggle with the truth. Some would find delight in it, but no matter the view point, it was obvious that things would never be the same. There were still so many questions left to be answered, but what they did know was that life as they knew it was about to get way more complicated.
Congratulations! You have survived an encounter with a god and have revealed the truth of the Sol Stone. Our first site-wide plot event has come to an end, but the story is far from over. Over time the story of Charon will continue to play out with your characters having a front row seat to all of the action! You may reply one final time to this event, but keep in mind you cannot alter the outcome of this main topic. The entire staff team wants to thank you for your understanding and cooperation throughout this event. We are still new to this kind of thing and have learned many from the experience. We strive to always be learning, adapting and providing the best story telling experience possible. We apologize for any sour taste or disappointments this event may have caused, but we will continue to grow together as a site to make future events run smoother! Thank you! The story continues in March with the Rise of Vulcadreaus!

-Mystical Archive TicketYup, you get an Archive Ticket. -Touch of DivinityPassive Trait Your encounter with the divine has left its mark on you. A very tiny fraction of divine energy now pulsates from your body. Its effect on you has yet to be understood, but you can feel its presence lingering somewhere in the back of your mind. You can feel the world of the divine around you as its energy flows back into Charon (no mechanical effect). -Sol Stone ShardRare Crafting Material A tiny piece of the now shattered Sol Stone made of golden metal and etched with strange markings, the true nature of the stone has yet to be understood. This item can be used in our crafting system. When used to craft you can take one spell that you own and add its effects to the crafted item. Just like other crafted items, staff will work with you to clearly define how the spell works on the item. Once crafted, this material can not be used to craft again (you can keep the stone in character for story reasons).-Scern's God KillerExalted level Dark Domain spell ( Can be obtained/used without needing the domain skill) A very powerful spell that was crafted by Scern and used against Ziev in the battle over the Sol Stone. To cast this spell, you must have made no offensive actions on your last post (nothing that intended to deal damage, injure, hurt or afflict some kind of negative effect). When you cast this spell, you target one enemy you see within 20 feet causing red hot burning chains to burst from the ground and wrap around the target. The target will take medium amounts of fire damage and be unable to make movement or take any actions (including casting spells) for their next two posts. This spell can only be used once per topic and cannot be used against Player Characters (unless permission is given).
