A dusty wine bottle rolled towards Bellighul's feet, he watched it ease itself over the tattered carpet and was unaware his dramatic cloak billowing in the wind was assailing his guest. He let out a reduced sigh. Retrieving the bottle from the ground and handed it off to Jacapo, who took it towards the folding table to prepare it. Dutiful, the scarecrow opened the wine and brought over three glasses; a fine crystal that sparkled even in the grey light. One was given to Cantio; nearly filled to the brim and required great concentration as to not spill its contents. The other two however, went to the Lord of Ghouls.
Bellighul took one glass by the stem and the other, clutching the glass in his palm, allowing the stem of it to hand between two of his fingers. No less than a few seconds later, he had finished one glass in four mouthfuls. A trail of purple-red liquid trailed down the corner of his mouth.
Quickly Jacapo, always prepared for his master's chronic drinking in moments like this, began to fill the empty glass while still in the Tomb King's hand. Between imbibing from the other glass, Bellighul spoke to Cantio.
"I present you...I am not sure it's name. Frankly." The Necromancer could not harm Hylltywyll, although a great fury dwelled within him. His eyes dazzled in a bright red light as he continued. "Unfortunately, of all the poltergeists and creatures of the night which lurk on these grounds...this one is the most persistent."
He had already finished the second glass, using a silk handkerchief to wipe his mouth before he tossed it onto the top of the Fairy's head as it played; laughing and smiling with its newfound possession.
"I encourage you Cantio, not to make a deal for your violin....you may find yourself stuck with this little baffoon as I am." Bellighul however, was most courteous, and after inviting Hylltywyll to dine with Cantio and himself he lifted a silver platter and presented an assortment of pastries to the little fairy. "I will buy you three of those violins creature...if you give this one back to the Song of Light."

Between Bellighul’s elegantly fluttering hems assaulting him, and the strange disembodied notes, Cantio spots a fluffy black form waddling its way towards them; in roughly three seconds, Cantio is up on his feet, preparing to flee the scene if needed… but then he realizes, it has his violin! It also has… a bottle of wine?
For some reason?
Cantio looks at Bellighul almost like he’s seeking instruction on how to act, or what to do, in this moment; but Bellighul does not seem particularly disturbed by the thing that’s sitting down on the rug with them, his violin in its lap as it continues to play incredibly out-of-tune chords.
It also chortles now and then, but for some reason, the sound gives Cantio a chill along his spine. Why does it sound… kind of familiar?
And why does it look kind of familiar? He’s never seen this thing before, right?
So why does he feel like he's kind of scared of it?
“ Ehhh….?” he bumbles some confused sound, looking helplessly towards Jacapo as the scarecrow hands him a glass. He smiles, sheepish, and clears his throat while he tries to calm down. “ Oh, um... thank you,” he gratefully tells the scarecrow; slowly, Cantio eases back onto the rug full of holes and spattered with beach sand. He kneels and tucks his legs beneath him as Bellighul impressively downs his first glass of wine, before Cantio has taken a single sip of his own. The bard looks warily at the creature sitting with them, taking a sip of his wine as Bellighul introduces the thing sitting with them. “ It’s… what is it, exactly? A ghost...?” he asks hesitantly, brows furrowing slightly as he side-eyes Hylltywyll’s back, then looks back at Bellighul. By the time he’s switched his attention, Jacapo is already pouring him a third glass. “ A-ah… Noted, thank you, Bellighul.” he laughs with a nervous chuckle. Although, he doesn’t entirely understand why just yet… He watches Bellighul offer a plate of pastries to the little fairy; he winces as the beastie hits another particularly sharp and painful note. “Ah… You don’t need to make a deal on my behalf, Bellighul.” he apologizes sheepishly, “I can always get a new violin, myself. I would hate to trouble you any further, truly; you’ve already been very kind and generous to invite me here.”
Despite everything that had occurred, of course...

Hylltywyll just glanced back over his shoulder before continuing his strumming. Even if the offer was tempting, it was more fun to refuse it and annoy them. At least he now knew this amazing thing was called a "violin". He'd have to remember that name.
"I don't need three. Can't play three at once, and I like this one." he said, laughing again as he played a particularly heinous note.
As he smiled and plucked away, one of the strings suddenly broke, frightening him for a moment and causing him to flinch. What, the strings could break? That was annoying, but not a real problem. The Fairy simply took the two ends of the string and held them together again, a small bit of smoky darkness wafting out of the fur on his forearm and wrapping around the broken string. After a moment, the darkness faded away and the string was as if it had never broken. Satisfied, he continued to play.
He reached a hand out and took a handful of the pastries, piling them on the rug in front of him and shoving them into his mouth one at a time with one hand while continuing to pluck the strings with the other. They were tasty, but these little offerings wouldn't make the Fairy change his mind.

"A ghost...no. Solaria sent a curse in the form of some flee bitten ape creature I have yet to decipher." The Necromancer turned to look down as Hyl as he mended the string, a moment of peace to the senses.
"Perhaps, it's ugliness is charming in a way...." He tilted his head, allowing his locks to flow down one side, draping across his robe. Eyebrows furled he looked at his vile little nemesis for a moment and smirked. "I've only found it rather disgusting." Jacapo presented a number of new pastries, Bellighul had yet to truly enjoy one but his excitement for seeing Cantio and annoyance at the walking disaster heeded his hunger. The salty wind picked up, the tears in the umbrella sparing it from flying away but rocked in the gale. Jacapo gently set the pastries down and held the umbrella tight in his hands. Cursing under his breath.
"The creature remains here as a pest but even with all the travesties and nightly annoyances it has grown a bit on me." A storm in the distance came rolling from the easterlies, dark clouds and cracks of lightning a mere hour away. He knew well, even with the Fairy's disturbances, nature would not allow him a calm beach day. Yet, the sand was still warm and the company, one certainly more than the other, was pleasing. It had become an incredibly lonely existence here at the Villa, his rituals and dark arcana made him seek solitude. Yet, he built himself a beautiful fortress and gardens that he spent most of his casual hours within. But, the isolation reminded him of the grave, without admittance he craved a social life. Cantio had been a true friend, someone Bellighul would patron in time.
"Maybe it will get eaten, which, undoubtedly I will be relieved but I will miss the little torments. I'll buy you a new violin Cantio, we can journey to Zeinav City together. There is a boutique I would like to show you with some of the finest clothes I have set my eyes on." He spoke again, after shortly musing on the landscape. He had begun planning a new venue for a perfumery next to the boutique, slowly creeping his way into high society, even from afar.
"I'd invite you...but, I feel like you wouldn't care for anything about culture and refinement." He kicks a small amount of sand onto the Fairy's back, attempting to look cruel but truly, a bit of playful menacing. A cruel smirk overtook Bellighul's face as he took in another large mouthful of the strong wine.

Oh.
Oh, it talks; of course it talks.
Why wouldn’t it talk?
Cantio blinks in surprise as it refuses to give back his violin; he breathes a sheepish laugh, tail curling sharply when Hyl hits a particularly awful note. He grimaces, tightening his hold on his glass, and then laughing nervously. “Ah…” He rubs at his temple with his free hand; his golden eyes lift towards Bellighul as he starts to speak, explaining that the creature is a curse of some kind. “Is that right?” he remarks, looking hesitantly towards the ‘flea bitten ape creature’.
The masked bard looks back to Bellighul, his eyes somewhat quizzical, when—
PLINK!
Oh boy, he recognizes that sound; it’s a familiar one. Cantio winces, looking towards the thing as it observes the broken string on his— er… its— violin. While he’s watching it, however, the creature takes the string and lines each end up, and… it’s fixed. Just like that. Cantio blinks, brows furrowing slightly as the sounds of the violin, and the godforsaken plucking, kick up again.
Can it use magic? Of course it can.
A few things are starting to make a little bit more sense, now.
He looks away, eyes resting on Bellighul as the man fills the quiet lull of the beachside with his deep, cadent tone. “...Really?” he asks, brows furrowing as Bellighul admits he’s somewhat fond of the thing, which… Well, it seems a little weird. Maybe it’s like a pet? But it talks, so… it’s not like it’s an animal, or a dog.... He’s not really sure what the dynamic here is; but Bellighul is an interesting man, with interesting tastes— many of which he shares, but many of which he doesn’t.
“Heh, well… it seems pretty capable of holding its own, so far.” he remarks, looking towards the Dark Fairy, before looking back to him with a warm smile. There’s an eager glitter in his golden eyes. “Ah, a boutique?” he remarks, tail catching some sand in its path as it sways back. “I would love to go with you! And, um… your friend, if he’s coming as well.” He looks towards the Fairy quizzically, but with some semblance of… hesitant acceptance.
He chuckles as Bellighul kicks some sand at it, but it does seem more playful than cruel— especially, given Bellighul’s outburst earlier. “But yes, I’d very much love to visit Zeinav City with you, Bellighul. You don't need to buy me a new violin, though.” he laughs sheepishly. "I couldn't possibly ask you to do that... Truly, I go through quite a few, being on the road as much as I am."

Aw, I've grown on him? I'll have to fix that. Hylltywyll thought to himself as he listened to the conversation behind him. He was a little annoyed that Bellighul kicked sand on him. He hated the feeling of the scratchy little grains in his fur. Actually, thinking of that made him realize he could use a bath. He looked back at the two with a smile.
"I do so love culture and refinement! I'm super very cultured. Seen so many cultures on my farm. I'm every so refined. I'd loooooove to go with you." he said in his best mimicry of a nobleman, which just sounded like an incredibly bad, phlegmy impression of Bellighul.
He picked up a pastry off the sandy rug and shoved the whole thing into his mouth and chewed. After a moment, he spit it out onto the rug with a disgusted look.
"Ugh, sandy!" he spat, wiping his tongue with the hem of Bellighul's robe before going back to strumming the violin in his lap.
Inside, the little Fairy was a little excited. He would enjoy going along with them and ruining their fun trip. Maybe even get a good bath or some treasures while he was there. It would be fun to destroy the house while Bellighul was gone, sure, but he much preferred to destroy it while Bellighul watched. He enjoyed live reactions to his work.
