Elaria Evenstar
Nickname: Lari
Gender: Female
Age: 54
Race: Wood Elf
Nationality: From Stargazer Village
Appearance: Elaria stands tall at 5’11. She has dark skin and light brown hair. She typically can be seen in a long brown dress that’s loose enough to allow for freedom of movement. This dress has a belt around the waist, which the pelt of an animal hangs from. She hunts a lot, and that is obvious in her appearance, from that pelt to the animal teeth that hang from her necklace. She carries a waterskin, among other things, attached to her belt. Her sleeves are typically pulled up to avoid contact with the metal bracers that grace her arms. They are beautifully made by her father. However, they are mostly for show and don’t offer much protection. She also wears long sleeves around the bottom of her legs when it’s cold outside, and she wears boots when it’s cold as well. When it’s warm, she wears sandals because they make her feel free. She carries a staff with her almost always. It doubles as a walking stick for her travels and a focus for her earth magic. The staff is a little bit taller than her.
Personality: Elaria is a very kind-hearted individual. To many people, she is like a second mother. Always supportive, but also disapproving of certain things. She wants the world to live in harmony and wants more people to see the beauty of nature as it is. She very much feels that the people of the world are missing out. She believes that the simple, focused life she lives would be good for everyone. On the flip side, she is prone to anger. She quickly turns a friendly debate into an argument. Elaria wants everyone to see things her way, and that can often get her into trouble. She believes whole-heartedly that she is correct and everyone else is wrong.
History: Elaria grew up in Stargazer village. Her father was a blacksmith, and her mother a seamstress. Together, they made a decent amount of Solars. She grew up around consumerism and hated it. Her parents were constantly working to gain more Solars, and she rarely got to spend time with them. Sure, she grew up getting everything she wanted from the store, but what she truly wanted didn’t come in fancy packaging. She just wanted her parents back. Due to this situation, she rejected the idea of consumerism. She’ll still buy things, but money isn’t a huge concern to her. Money can’t buy happiness. Friendships and the simple life can. So, as soon as she grew up, when she was around 24, she left for good to forge her own destiny. She quickly found a tribe that was willing to take her in near the city, and she became a hunter. She hunted to feed and clothe herself and others, not to sell the hide or meat. She has now left the tribe. Elaria feels that she can live this life on her own and forge new friendships along the way. She has set out on a mission to help others see that they don’t have to live like this. The simple life will always be there for them.
