Elrodan wavered in the air as he thought and agreed with Zak. "Yes, maybe perfect was the wrong word. The inner beauty and soul is the one we must love to enjoy a long life of love together. The looks as fleeting as they are, can help grease the gears, one less barrier to get through in your seeing and understanding. Or maybe rather it's a barrier you face at a different time. One when you become comfortable to just look at them, really look at them."

Elrodan flew backwards looking at Zak. "By the same token as you talk of love not being about looks but the inside soul. Do you not look at a skin and see the item inside that it can be? Or the block and what may be revealed when you carve away at it?" He turned back around as he continued to fly. "I find my craft through music. It's where I go through that process. Taking words or sounds, find their order that speaks to the soul and instil emotion. Not all that different a set of topics eh?"

“Words and sounds,” Zak repeated thoughtfully. “So true, my friend. As I said, I am not a material crafter. My creativity is more nebulous, not fully tangible. But I understand the idea of sounds as inspiration. My connection to the elemental forces of nature often comes from listening to their musical tones and opening myself to the harmony of their energy. Ya know, it’s like the sounds reverberate inside me, bringing my mana to life.”

Zak smiled as he glanced at the dancing fairy in front of him. “You’re musical? How wonderful. …Do you sing or …play an instrument?” His smile grew. “Will you share your music with me? I would be most honored.”

Elrodan thinks on what Zak says, then comes to a fresh idea that he starts talking about without finalising. "If... you aren't a crafter....but you doooo make...magic. Can you be a person who makes new magic? Or make things with your magic? Or combine magics? I tend to only see healing, or maybe I only know how to use it for healing? I do see a flow of it though. Oo ooooo! Do you see the magic too. Hmm let me see..." Elrodan then looks about to a tree nearby and focuses his mind to seeing the magic floating around it, then with a little more thought, he moves it in a different way, the green moving out of its pattern. "Can you see that?"

Elrodan nodded, "I can do both, though I only have my flute with me, so I can't do both at the same time. As such, which would you prefer?" his giddy voice showing on his happy little face.  

Zak smiled as Elrodan delighted him with his banter. Elrodan’s thoughts came out in disjointed phrases that made sense, yet weren’t fully coherent. No matter the manner in which the fairy spoke, Zak understood his words. Elrodan was asking about crafting and combining magic, and Zak did not possess those gifts as of yet. He had enough to concern himself already in terms of his growing power. Crafting additional magicks felt like a far off fantasy at the moment.

“No, my little friend,” Zak said with a smile. “I don’t have the skills to craft new magicks. Perhaps someday. Compared to our friend Kamille, I am but a babe in the woods. My powers have just recently begun to emerge.”

“And in terms of musical ability, I’m told that I’m tone deaf and should never try to sing. It tends to hurt the ears of those who listen,” Zak said with a chuckle. Looking around at their surroundings for reassurance that no danger lurked nearby, Zak added, “I’d love to hear you sing. Perhaps, though, it might be best to keep your hands free for now.”

"Yet you will though. I can sense it about you. A destiny that is going to see you do some amazing things." Elrodan says and gives a smile "Just, don't forget about us mortals, though maybe there's one you won't be forgetting. That'd be nice. Even in the depths beyond time, you have a warm memory to hold to."

Elrodan looks about as Zak did, slightly confused as to why Zak had. "I guess I could sing something, did you have something in mind?" Elrodan then giggled. "There is one I just thought of, I'm not sure if you do the hunting too or are just the trader but there was one some of the hunters used to sing back home." Elrodan said before clearing his throat ready to sing, then closing his eyes as he sways in the air, then opening his eyes of a sudden, dropping to the ground to grab a couple of sticks then moving to a tree to he began to sing and drum with the twigs upon the trunk a fast beat.

"We sleep all night and work all day,
Not really a job, but more of play.
The pheasant and deer, hide in the field,
But from their tracks all are revealed.

Drink at the snake, with a snake of a fey!"
